During my shower, I noticed that the water never got hot. I knew I was on borrowed time because my water heater had just turned 20.

After discovering that my regular plumber asked if I could wait 3 days, I searched for a nearby business and discovered Good Guy Plumbing.

I explained to representative Cristina that I needed a new 40-gallon water heater and needed the current one removed. I was concerned about anyone willing to do the job because no one could be onsite to address any questions.

Cristina said the work would take approximately 4 hours and could be done that day, but her boss had to approve the request because no one was on site.

The tech, Mario, was available even sooner than expected and called to provide me with a quote. He requested and received approval for a $200 discount for the order and quoted me a price very close to the other estimate.

Mario contacted me about the job and walked me through the work that he had done. After coming home from work, I checked out the installation and observed that he had removed the debris from the inside, installed a new drip pan, and professionally installed everything. It looked better than the day it was installed over 20 years ago!

I am very fortunate to have discovered Good Guy Plumbing. I appreciated that they were willing to do the job without someone on-site, and the solid communication allowed me to be confident in their abilities. The job was professionally done, and the area around the water heater enclosure was super clean. I'll definitely contact Good Guy Plumbing for my future needs.

Guy Good Plumbing exceeded my expectations! Paz and Gustavo showed up first thing in the morning and they began prepping my hardwood floors to limit the debris that was coming off the walls. They were polite, informative and very knowledgeable. I had gotten several estimates, but between all their 5-star reviews and the professionalism of Good Guy Plumbing, it was a no-brainer. I highly recommend good Guy Plumbing to anyone who’s looking to have work done.

We have used Good Guy Plumbing a couple times for hydro jetting and been impressed with the service. JJ has been our technician and he is prompt, friendly, professional, and informative. Getting our line cleared so we could get back to normal life meant so much to us. Anyone we have dealt with in the company has been extremely helpful and courteous! We will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others!

Cesar and Jose came within a few hours of booking the appointment online. The dispatcher called to confirm the appointment. Cesar and Jose were very helpful. They were polite, explained step by step what they were doing, and made sure to clean up after they were done. They stayed all day to resolve the clog in our kitchen sink and replace the needed pipes. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Great people, great customer service. I'm still in the process of purchasing my water softener and having it installed through this team, they've been very patient with their responses.

They are more on the pricey side of course but that's what you get with competence and a good reputation, which I'm happy to pay the premium for for the peace of mind that I'll get in exchange.

I will update this review after installation of my water softener if any issues arise, but so far about a month into talking to them I am very satisfied. Shout out to JJ and Rob.

Junior was very professional, fast and did a great job explaining what was going on.
He informed me of other options that I could take to prevent this issue in the future.
He is very informative and knows what he’s doing.

We’re super in a pinch with a shower that wouldn’t turn off- called many places (all the big national chains) that had a long turn around- they showed up one hour after calling- we’re friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Robert from Good Guys came out to install an automatic leak shutoff valve. He and his team did a great job! He went the extra mile to get a clean installation.

Had the entire house repipe + installation of water tankless heater and water reconditioning. When I first contacted their office, Robert came in the same day. He looked inside the house and explained all the process in detail and the estimated time it will take to complete the job. His staff were professional, on time, and really good guys (no pun intended). They even installed my new sink even though it was not part of their job! Many thanks to Good Guy Plumbing!: I won a new AO Smith Tankless Hot Water Heater and they did an excellent installation! Rob sent his impressive crew and they did a very professional job adding this amazing new Tankless Water Heater! They installed copper pipes, (soldered and non soldered crimped fittings), PEX plastic pipes, and for the gas connection they cut and threaded galvanized pipes. I am very impressed with the expert installation!

The Good Guys plumbing technicians were polite and professional. They finished installing the new part replacement in the Toto toilet and tightened the shower knob ib the shower. The shower knob just needed a little tightening on the inside and they fixed it. Thank you.

Good Guys provided a detailed cost estimate for the sewer pipe replacement. Team showed up on time and although the job took a little longer than expected, the team needed to follow the old line which was not straight and had a lot of bends. Good Guys pulled a Torrance city permit which was signed off. The team cleaned up the front yard and walkways. The ground did experience some settling, Good Guys came out the next day to address this issue.
