All reviews for Alpen Tree Experts

I’ve been using Alpen since 2017. I originally selected Alpen because Ryan is a very knowledgeable arborist. He cares about the health and safety of the trees. I appreciated the assistance with defensible space as well. Communication is excellent and the crew does a thorough job and comes out as scheduled.I would highly recommend Alpen tree to anyone looking for tree removal or assistance with defensible space.

I recently called Alpen Tree Experts to remove a fallen tree as well as a few hazardous trees. This is the second time I have engaged them, and I found again that they were very responsive, well priced and professional. They quickly gave me an estimate, did the job in a timely way and followed up with emails and photos as I requested. I would highly recommend them and will definitely engage them again in the future.

Alpen was fantastic to work with. Professional and scheduling was easy. We needed the lines to our house to come down due to the location of the trees and they worked with PUD to coordinate timing on power shut off. The job was completed on time and very happy with the results.

We were very happy with the responsiveness and quality of work provided by Alpen Tree Experts. They provided an appropriate estimate for the project, and did exactly what they said they would. Overall appreciation of their work well done. Appreciate.

From beginning to end, Alpen Tree Experts (and Ryan the owner) were a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

As part of my defensible space work, I asked Ryan to provided an estimate for taking out a large/tall white fir tree, several smaller trees, and limbing a tree with dead branches. He was very responsive via email and phone.

The estimate was a little higher than my budget, and Ryan worked with me so we could get the work done in line with my budget. I also asked them to chip the trees and leave the chips on my property.

On the day of the job, Ryan's crew arrived at my home on time and explained what they would be doing. They asked me a few questions, and then work began. A handful of hours later, everything was done according to what we scoped. And the wood chips were left exactly where I specified.

I am very happy with their work!

We have used Alpen Tree Experts for a number of years. This company has been able to expand over the years to serve a larger customer base without losing any of its quality and attention to detail. They have an office staff person that returns emails/calls. We were so amazed and impressed watching them drop one tree perfectly to where they said it would land, climb and removed in sections another tree that was too close to buildings to be dropped and removing branches on another. They were professional, fast and efficient and they left the yard looking better than it did before the work. Highly recommend them.

Great service and process for our tree removal. Easy online billing too.

I cannot recommend Alpen Tree Experts highly enough. They have managed the trees and forest on my property in Tahoe Donner for 12 years. Ryan is personable and professional, Rebecca manages scheduling and client needs with a lovely attitude, their crew is skilled, efficient, accommodating and service is detail oriented. They have a respectful approach to owners and the land. Cleanup of driveways and the frontage road is always the last touch....It’s the little things that count!
Don't hesitate to call them, you will be glad you did. Toni

Ryan and crew are just spectacular at Alpen Tree! They’ve helped us out over the years at my home in Sierra meadows and at our clients rentals in and throughout Truckee. The Alpen Tree team was able to schedule me quickly, and kept me updated regarding how weather conditions could affect the schedule. They were on time, got the job done quickly and safely, with absolutely minimal disruption to the surrounding area. I’m happy I chose Alpine tree!

Loved the work this company did for us recently. They arrived in a very timely manner and gave us an estimate promptly. They were at our house within a few days and did a great job. Also, they cleaned up all the tree limbs and pine needles, and the yard was spotless when they left. I would highly recommend this company. Their prices are very affordable. I would definitely use them again.

Ryan is incredibly responsive, he gets the job done quickly and efficiently, and the quality of work is excellent. We've been using AlpenTree for years and are always incredibly satisfied with the work. Highly recommend for the best tree work in Truckee!

I've hired this company for a few tree removals in recent years, in each case requiring a custom approach to my (perhaps unusual) requests. Ryan has been amazing to work with, as he's understood my needs and desires, and produced exactly what we wanted (in one case honoring a request to leave a 25' tall stump in place for wildlife habitat). The service has always been precise, quick, safely-executed, and cost-effective, and we will surely be calling them again next time we need their services!!!

Ryan and the team at Alpen Tree were easy to work with and quickly addressed our defensible space issues. They provided a clear reasonable estimate, were responsive to my questions, and got the work done safely and expeditiously.

Very smooth process with Alpen, things went exactly as planned both times I needed them to remove trees from my lot. Highly recommend

We hired Alpen Tree Experts to complete our defensible space requirements in Tahoe Donner because they were listed on the approved contractor list. We found them to be extremely competent and professional. Our property was reinspected and passed with flying colors. We were very satisfied with their communications with us, their timetable and their attention to the details of the job required by our compliance report.

Alpen Tree Experts was absolutely great! They showed up on time, were totally professional, expertly cut the tree (which was very close to the house) and cleaned up the tree material. Hats off to the team!

Very responsive and safe team. They removed a tree and used extra precautions to keep everyone safe. The tree was shredded and removed from my property. almost as if no tree had ever been there. The price was reasonable and they responded quickly to my needs

I was very anxious re the project of removing 15 pines, maples and a large cedar from my property, some very close to the home! Nightmares, actually. But, a perfect outcome with Alpen Tree - and I mean perfect! The teamwork was something to behold - very professional, courteous and friendly. A very big “thank you”.

Competitive pricing and excellent work. I have used Alpen Tree repeatedly for Defensible Space work and they have got me cleared with the inspection items efficiently and thoroughly. They stand behind their work and quotes. I highly recommend them.
