Took my blender in to see if the base and the blade could be replaced cheaply, and he advised to just buy a new one, as repairing it would cost more.

Over the years I have taken a number of small appliances to them for repair. In every case, they have been able to resolve the problem and have done so in a quick manner. I think their prices seem very fair, as I surely don't have the expertise to even diagnose, much less solve the problem. Will keep returning.

I brought my vacuum here to be fixed about a year ago. I'm a moron when it comes to machinery. The older gentleman there was so kind. He cleaned it and didn't charge me for anything. Apparently my filter was a mess and the whole machine was backed up. Gave me some advice and sent me on my way. What a dear. Thank you so much.

I needed a beater for my wife's KitchenAid mixer. When I called I gave him the mixer model number and he said he had one in stock. Drove over from Illinois and bought the part without any problems. Ended up talking to Sterling for 45 minutes up until closing time about his business ventures and his retail history. Lowes, Home Depot, etc, may have the big items, but Sterling has the small parts the big box retailers don't bother to stock. Also bought a lighted Alabama Crimson Tide ballcap and picked up a free Sterling's Product Anti-Bacterial Non-scratch Scrubber.
