My heater broke at 11PM on a Saturday night. I couldn't believe my lucky stars that James came to my home in Redwood City from San Jose at 1AM in the morning to fix it!! He was very professional, polite, and was obviously passionate about his profession, not to mention very reasonably priced for an emergency repair. I'll be hiring Lunar Air for all my future heating needs.

I got great information and help on the phone. He could have charged me to come out on a service call but was honest enough up front to explain that the thermostat I wanted is not compatible with my setup.

My 120V received 240V.

I had a problem with an old furnace which suddenly turned on by itself and would not stop. The thermostat was in the off position so I had to shut it down manually. Few days latter I tried to put it back on but as soon as I lit the pilot light and put it in the ON position it started to work again even tough I disconnected the thermostat. I called few contractors and James from Lunar Air Systems was the first to respond in just a few minutes after I placed the call. When I described the problem at hand he suggested I also disconnect the thermostat wires at the furnace to eliminate any possible shorts of the wires. BINGO !! That was a brilliant advice !! I run a new wires to the thermostat, put everything back in place and furnace started to operate without any more problems. Problem solved over the phone !! Thank you very much !!!!

When I purchased my condo, the furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger. James did a great job installing a new furnace, thermostat and air scrubber. I have not had a problem with the unit since. I would definitely reach out again for future services.

I highly recommend James for his thorough analysis of my HVAC system. He was a physics major at Cal Poly (SLO) and his analytical abilities really show as he reviewed my AC unit and furnace. That along with his years of field experience, he successfully diagnosed the problem with the AC unit and repaired the issue in the same day. When I spoke to a different company, they wanted to replace my entire AC unit. However, James saved me thousands of dollars and was able to repair the AC unit and it is working flawlessly. Fantastic experience and I will be using his company yearly for routine maintenance. I definitely found my go-to HVAC engineer/mechanic!!

James helped us remove the wall heater in our hallway. He was prompt and professional, showed up on time and performed the job cleanly and efficiently.
