Attic insulation: great work and extremely professional

Awesome work!! Super friendly crew!! Would definitely recommend to ALL friends and family!! No hiccups throughout the entire service!!! 10/10 in my book!!

Elite Energy installed attack insulation in my home. They are highly professional and have provided outstanding service.
Staff is very courteous and did through job. They even checked all the appliances for gas leaks and burn quality.

I highly recommend Elite Energy Efficiency for insulation and other services they offer.

This company did the insulation for our home last year. During the inspection, they pointed out that the bathroom vent was leaking in the attic. They fixed the leak and did great job on installation. Insulation was also rebated by PGE with tax deduction on co-pay. Our heating bill went down. Definitely recommend this company.

Edit: Gabe reached out the same day as the review to fix the attic hatch and they fixed it in a couple of days.

Overall, was a good experience not excellent.

I had specifically asked about 2 things when I got the quote - baffles and air sealing.

First, baffles were promised as its standard practice for them. When the team came to add insulation, they told me they aren’t needed and explained why. Fine - valid point but could have been clarified during quote process that isn’t needed.

Second and more important, I went into the attic a night ago they were supposed to come to make sure where all we need air sealing especially for recessed lights. Out of 45 recessed lights, only approx 10 needed air sealing and rest were sealed. When I talked to the team and told them where we need it. they were a bit hand wavy that we will do it if required.

If they weren’t gonna air seal fully (and they would have known that most of lights were sealed already), why charge $500 for it, should have been much less? And when I asked for proof/pictures, they didn’t have any and never replied to my email.

So I have no idea if they air sealed at all or not. And shouldn’t have charged full price if it wasn’t needed as in my case since almost everything was fully sealed.

One more thing was - they broke my attic entrance - it was broken a bit but in a really good condition. They were just gonna not do anything about it if I hadn’t noticed. I asked them to fix it and then they tapped it.

They were in and out in 2 hours. Cleaned everything and did a good job overall.

But as I said above, I wasn’t satisfied fully.

Do not recommend. Our interaction with E3/ Gabriel Robinson wasn't great. Can't speak to the rest of the company but if it was anything like Gabe, we won't be doing future business with E3.
