PHENOMENAL COMPANY. If you need any pest control, Uptown Pest Control will exceed your expectations. Alex went above and beyond. We noticed a foul odor and suspected an animal. Turned out to be an opossum that had died under our house. It had made a nest in a usual spot underneath the house. Which Alex was able to break down, remove the animal, sanitize, deodorize, and patch back up. They sealed up any openings with new stainless steel wiring around our entire house. Did a follow up visit to check for any critters, install traps, inspect any smells, and even helped clean some pesky spider areas. He is incredibly kind, and tackled a horrific experience with ease and professionalism. Thank you very much Uptown Pest Control!!

Uptown pest control did a great job clearing out the rat nest in my water heater cabinet and went the extra mile to clean the area and properly installed a proper concrete base and replaced the damaged cabinet at my request. They are hard workers and very nice. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

They helped us tackle a rat infestation in our home, thoroughly cleaning the affected areas and sealing all entry points. The difference was immediate, the house smelled noticeably better right away, which was such a relief.

I am very late to this post! However, this man is a professional and got rid of our rodent issue! When I say it was a relief, man I can feel at peace in my own home. Truly, he is a professional in this line of work. I would hire him over other “popular” businesses that want to charge an outrageous amount of money and don’t even fix the issue. Uptown came out to take care
Of ants and mosquitoes, they also put some terminte traps out. They did a great job. I haven’t seen any ants or mosquitoes. They came out on time and they have reasonable prices too . They also came back and checked traps without having to call them. Thanks

Alexander was amazing he was very professional while being compassionate about what I was going thru I was terrified the very furst visit he assured me that too shall pass. He right away start closing entry areas abd ut was a lot made sure traps was set was my dogs couldn't get to them . Kept coming back yo learn patterns of the rodents checked cabinets so I would feel comfortable opening.. He wanted me to feel safe he had techniques I hav never seen and went above and beyond gav ne access yo his cell if I needed to ket him know I heard something. There's no one more reliable and trusting I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Alex brought deep knowledge and experience to our pest problems. He took his time to understand how the rodents may have entered the house and how we have previously dealt with this problem. We discussed ways to improve barriers and reduce the chance of future infestation of rats or other rodents. He also was thorough in searching for possible bed bugs. Fortunately we did not find this to be a problem. Previous exterminators did not do nearly the careful inspection and may have recommended services that we did not need. I would highly recommend Uptown Pest Control and Alex to anyone needing help with bed bugs or rodent infestation. Thanks, Alex, I hope we use your services in the future.

We had some issues with ants appearing randomly throughout our home. We could not figure out from where. Alex made some suggestions for until he was able to check it out. He was able to discover the ants were going from our attic where we had a not known an abandoned honeycomb existed. He was able to remove the honeycomb and ant ants throughout the house. He also sealed up cracks we had in our shower that ants had been going through. He spray for us all around the property.
While in our attic he discovered we had deceased birds from an opening we weren’t aware of. He was able to remove the old material and replace it. While cleaning up the mess in the entire attic. He also did a special spray to kill any bugs that could come from this. He kept us in the loop the entire time with photos and videos as he worked. He was extremely professional and did an outstanding job. We highly recommend his services and look forward to continuing services as needed with him.

I hired Uptown Pest Control in December of 2025. Alex came out to my home in a timely manner. He was very friendly and professional. He showed me all of his findings and explained the work that needed to be done. The work was completed the next day and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Alex and Uptown Pest Control.

A few months ago I was hearing what I assumed was house movements particularly in my beautiful living room display cabinet which sits one inch from the wall. I came to wonder why our indoor cat would sit for hours frozen and stare at the cabinet. Then one day I saw my full grown cat run toward the kitchen and back but I didn't know why yet. Then a few weeks later I happened to be looking for an item in one of two top drawers and there I saw large droppings but unsure if it was mouse or rat excrement. I felt grossed and disposed of everything in the drawer and began searching Google for an exterminator. I found Uptown Pest Control and discussed the issue here with Alex Freire. He came to my home and assessed the findings exclusive to the living room as no evidence was found anywhere else in the house. Alex educated me why nocturnal rats manage to gain entrance to your home. He set three traps and two giant stick boards on the running boards of the living room in different areas and returned a week later. There was nothing found and he decided he would return a second week later. Again, nothing was found and I felt relieved. He told me perhaps the nocturnal creature left. By the the third week I saw evidence of rat droppings in the garage where I wash clothing 20 feet from my back door. So I called Alex again and he came to move the set traps to the areas where the droppings were visible. Within one day, the next morning, a rat was caught and quite dead! Boy was I happy! I've been living here for 25 years and have never experienced those type of grotesque animals! A few days after that a second rat, a bit smaller than the first, was caught! There are no more rats!
