I found Jim Dwyer Electric on Nextdoor posts. He was highly recommended so I called him to install my new front porch house light. He was amazing. I called him in the morning and he said he’d try and fit me in that day if possible. I was shocked when he said he was on his way. Very nice man, price was very reasonable and he was quite efficient. Will definitely call him again. Highly recommend his services.

Jim came out quickly and knew exactly what was wrong.

Mr. Dwyer (Jim), a professional, affordable, "craftsman" that takes pride in his trade (if an electrical panel can be a work of art, ours is now). We would highly recommend his service over the very "slickly" advertised companies (you have seen their van's around town).

My husband and I have hired Jim for multiple projects over the years, so this review is long overdue. Jim is truly excellent—not only as a craftsman and electrician, but also as a communicator.

How so nice it is to have a very reliable electrician! Jim has wired my hot tub and a 220 outlet all the way through my house and to the garage. He seriously does fantastic work. Trustworthy and honest. Thank you, Jim.

After not being able to reset a flipped breaker during a recent rainstorm I was extremely alarmed to find evidence of water between the fuses. Thinking this was a dangerous situation I called multiple electricians hoping to get someone out asap. Being this was late on a Friday, I was only able schedule service for the next Monday. Jim came to the rescue and came out on Saturday and had the problem fixed in no time. Not only was he a pleasure to work with but his price was beyond fair. I can’t help but feel that we hit the jackpot. Jim is the kind of honest and fair businessman we are always looking for and he will be our go to electrician for any future work needed. We have already told our family about Jim and will not hesitate recommending him to everyone we know.

I needed to have thermostat wire run down to my furnace, so I called Jim. He responded when other businesses wouldn't bother to call back. He not only responded, but agreed to come the same day and did an AMAZING job! We literally can not see where he drilled, at all! Best of all, he was very affordable. Now my nest thermostat can charge so I don't have to worry about it losing power. Overall, I highly recommend Jim and would not hesitate to use his services, in the future

This guy is now my go-to. Polite, straight-forward, and with excellent pricing. He quickly fixed a couple of dead outlets in our home and even went so far as to fix an unrelated issue free of charge.

Jim is an awesome guy. No BS and no high pressure sales tactics like I got from calling AAA. Jim came to my house and worked his behind off for 3 hours to get my rinkey dink wiring to a safe working condition, and he didn't charge me thousands of dollars. Im going to have HIM upgrade my old wiring because I know he'll give me a fair price.
