Rick did all the electrical for our addition along with updating some electrical in the old part of our house several years ago. We have used them for trouble shooting an issue another electrician couldn’t help us with. Also had an issue that they could have come over and charged us but instead had us check a few things first. Turns out it was an Xcel problem and we contacted them. Also handled installing lighting. Excellent at what they do and honest!!

Rick came to my husband and I on a recommendation from one of my husbands co-workers. After two previous bids on some electrical projects on the house, I was worried that we would have to pay 4-8k on repairs that "were needed." However, I got a third opinion just in case. Rick came in and was able to fix all of the problems that I had for under $1000. Great service and professionalism during an unprecedented time. Everyone is trying to hire an electrician right now. I called over 11 electrical companies for an estimate. Due to COVID-19, most these companies either didn't call me back or their estimate was thousands of dollars over what Angie's list said was normal.

Rick came to my house to complete an estimate on the day that I inquired. As for the work, he upgraded my dangerous Federal Pacific electric panel and replaced 3 broken light fixtures and a switch. His price was very reasonable and he made sure I understood how the new panel was labeled and the details of the additional work his team completed. O'Brien Electric - Aurora= great service

Rick gave me a very reasonable price to bring in two new circuits and wire the perimeter of my unfinished basement. At the scheduled time and after a confirming phone call from Rick, another O'brien employee appeared - sorry, can't remember his name. He was friendly, courteous and polite and quickly did the work and did it well. I'm very satisfied with the whole experience, from my first phone call to the finished job. Very professional. They're now at the top of my rather short list. Thanks!

Rick did a electric service update and inside panel on my house to get ready for my solar panel installation. He and his crew did an excellent job. They showed up on time and had all the work completed within six hours. The work was going to be done by my solar company, but Rick was able to save me $1300 by having him do the job.

Called and left multiple emails but never received a call back

I tried to use him based on the reviews. Only one Problem. They don't return calls.

Electrician service was untimely after searching for electrical issues help I thought they would be reasonable after a few calls to them they assumed they could get over on my mother so they overcharged us. Electrician was judgmental and my overall experience was not professional I wouldn’t recommend their service

They are unprofessional and not trust worthy. It took them two months to finally get back to us. They damaged my hardwood floors and also did unnecessary cutting into the dry wall. After they “FIXED” the lighting in my basement a day later the lights would not turn off. These people are not electricians. Now I have to hire someone else to fix their so called work. Never again will I go back to this so called company
