Avalanche came out and did a full HVAC system replacement for us (and took care of our hot water heater too). Price was reasonable and service was top notch. The whole crew was considerate, hard working, and very competent.

They largely finished the job in a single day, and came back on two separate visits shortly after to tie up some loose ends. Scheduling was a breeze and communication very clear.

Will be using Avalanche for all my HVAC needs going forward.

My wife and I discovered our furnace was not working at around 10pm, attempted to troubleshoot with no success. At 6:30am we called Avalanche, they called back just 20-minutes later and by 7:30am Jacob was on site. They had us patched up in no time for MUCH less than we were expecting. Great Colorado service and not the all too common over charging of customers we’ve become so accustomed to. Thank you Avalanche - we’ll be calling you next time too!

There are not words that describe the trust and appreciation I have for the entire Avalanche crew. They are honest and kind. Not once have I ever felt like they have been misleading. Don is absolutely fabulous. Extremely knowledgable, hardworking, & honest... he does what he says & has a great attitude & outlook. Avalanche did our AC/Furnace, Tankless water heater & whole house water filtration.

I live in an older home with hot water baseboard heat, the furnace is about 8 years old. I have not had it serviced for a few years and noticed that some rooms weren't heating as well as others. I also noticed that radiators were banging. Having worked with Don Hanson on a recent remodel project, I was glad to reconnect with him at Avalanche. Don has demonstrated extensive knowledge working on state of the art systems and he is a skilled technician. Setting up the initial inspection was easy. He arrived on time and was able to look at the important components, diagnose issues, and estimate cost of my furnace maintenance. The expense seems reasonable, and I am confident that once tuned-up my heating system will be good for another couple of years.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Avalanche HVAC Services, and we couldn't be more satisfied with their service. During this hot season, our AC broke down, and Andy, the owner, came to the rescue. His professional service and excellent knowledge helped him quickly identify and troubleshoot the issue. Our AC was up and running within a few hours after he replaced the control board.

Andy didn't just stop there; he also verified that all other HVAC functions were working as expected. His proactive customer service kept us informed every step of the way, starting with email and SMS notifications for booking time, updates on the technician's arrival, and an easy checkout process using modern technology.

Jacob with Avalanche Home Services was recommended by a friend. I have the upmost respect for this guy after the work he did on my furnace. He adjusted his schedule to make sure we had heat, did an excellent job and was one of the most professional tradesman I have met. This company is top notch! Woke up to no heat on a artic winter day. Called Avalanche and they had it back up and running within 2 hours of my phone call! Jacob our tech was awesome!

Jacob explained and actually physically showed me how the defective part was failing. He gave me pointers on how to extend the life of the unit. The unit is 23 years old. He gave me information and options on replacement. I would definitely recommend Avalanche HVAC. professional and honest company. Their pricing is fair and reasonable

Avalanche HVAC was very timely to get a heater in our house since ours was broken. They had a fair price and my husband and I decided to replace 2 heaters and 2 air conditioners with them. Don, Jacob and Jason were very considerate of our house and went above and beyond to not disrupt our daily routine. They did the entire job in a little less than 2 days which was wonderful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody needing to have their HVAC systems replaced or serviced. Thanks Avalanche for giving us heat again!

I KNOW this is getting redundant gushing about this company for a 10th review, but here we go again... Donald and Caleb came out to repair a side panel that blew off my evaporative cooler during a recent windstorm, and after they did they refused to charge me for a service that anyone else would have charged me a couple hundred bucks for. I can't say enough about this company's customer service and support. Thanks yet again Avalanche!

Jacob and Joshua both came out to do their usual awesomeness shutting down the swamp cooler for the season, again at about 1/2 the amount that the 'big guys' charge who always try to upsell you into some service plan. Thanks again Avalanche!

Ok, excuse me for repeating myself, but these guys get more awesome every time I call. Swamp cooler started making funky noises yesterday so I gave Avalanche a call, expecting they'd be able to send someone out in a few days. Andy, the owner came out THIS MORNING, first thing, and serviced it at no charge... apparently just a couple screws were loose. Easy to see why they have a 4.9. review rating... (but really it should be a 5...) Thanks again!

Don came out to fire up the system this time and to make recommendations to swap out the old system... once again, prompt, professional, courteous service for less than half of what other companies charged in the past... 11/10...

Oct 22nd 2024, and today's swamp cooler shut down was conducted with the same awesome service as the last 5, except today it was with Brian, who went the extra mile just like Avalanches' previous technicians over the years... same friendly demeanor, same prompt arrival, same expertise and professionalism. Definitely my go-to company for HVAC.

Same awesome service as the last 4 reviews, this time with the owner Andy... showed up early, even flushed the system so the air wasn't so funky after sitting over the winter. Still half the cost as the chain guys.

Awesome service once again, this time by Jacob, no upsell, no bs, just getting the swamp cooler ready for winter. Every tech they've sent has been outstanding, and at half the price I've been quoted from past companies (who also like to throw in a trip charge on top.) These are my guys.

Avalanche is 3 for 3... showed up on time yet again, got me scheduled in just a couple of days, tech was personable and professional and at half the cost of previous companies I had used in the past. This Avalanche crew is awesome. Fired up my swamp cooler in minutes and got it prepped for the summer. Thanks again guys!

2nd review, Sept 2022.
Went with Avalanche again... Ryan and Matt showed up right on time, as personable as they were professional. Within a half hour my evaporative cooler was all ready for the winter. (Would've probably been done sooner but they were so damn fun to talk to.) I used Avalanche again as their tech (see 1st review below) had done such a good job on the startup months ago at a fraction of the cost the "big guys" charge, with no "silver plan" upsell. They're two for two now so I'll see 'em again come Spring. Thanks, guys!

First review, Spring 2022
Nate was right on time and went to work. Got the swamp cooler all fired up for the season, and it works perfectly. ZERO attempts at an upsell, zero "we'll let you know the cost after we get there", zero trip charge. Nate just did exactly what I hired them for, for what they quoted, quickly and professionally. These are my guys from now on.
