My experience with Hammers Construction has been wonderful. Everyone is easy to work with and VERY easy to reach after hours just in case an issue arises. Great customer service and very efficient. I definitely got my money worth on my project, the quality is unbeatable.

It is our pleasure to write about our personal experience with Hammers Construction. We own a small-animal veterinary clinic, and we were practicing out of a leased space on the edge of Black Forest. Due to increased growth in our practice, we needed a larger place and there were no existing buildings in the area to buy or lease. We knew our only option would be to buy land and build a new clinic. We had no experience with this process whatsoever. We heard that Hammers Construction had built another vet clinic, so we called and set up a meeting with Steve and Jason. They were very personable and extremely knowledgeable and put us right at ease. Even though it was an overwhelming thought, they walked us through the process and answered all our questions. Hammers is different in that they are a “one-stop-shop” construction company. They can help you with picking the right piece of land, to permitting and budgeting, to designing and building what you want (even if you do not know exactly what you want in the beginning!) They recommended a commercial realtor, Lester, who quickly came up with several options for property nearby. Then we began making our “wish list,” and with the help of our SBA lender, Mark, and Joe, our project manager, we began to narrow down exactly what we wanted and could afford. We cannot say enough about Joe. He had previous experience designing a vet clinic, so he was well-versed in what was important already, he listened to what we wanted, and he took our ideas and drew up the plans. He was attentive to our needs and communicated with us throughout the 6-month build and was not phased at all the few times we wanted to make some changes. We were also very impressed with Mike, the supervisor on site, he and his crew were there every day, they were professional, respectful and efficient. Joe did not close out the project until we were happy with every detail. They completed our project on time and within our budget. We would highly recommend Hammers Construction. We had an excellent overall experience, and we are extremely happy with our new veterinary clinic.

I worked with Jason Kvols and Blair Wald with Hammers Construction and both were PHENOMENAL! They both took a lot of time to help me understand the process and budget. Jason connected me with a great business referral and I felt like he understood my vision perfectly. Blair was always really communicative, he also understood my vision and budget. We had Hammers Construction do a multi-level interior remodel within our building while we were still fully operational and where very happy with the entire process. Jason Latham and Kris’s communication, attention to detail and professionalism throughout the project was excellent and they have continued to take care of us after the project was completed.

Hammers Construction has built 5 buildings for myself and my business. Every building they have built for me has exceeded expectation and has been delivered ahead of schedule. I had the privilege of working directly with a project manager name Michael. Him and his team were so good that I am certain I will use Hammers Construction again for other projects. The completed results speak for themselves and the personal attention to detail shown by the team was outstanding. I have worked with many contractors in the last few decades and Hammers is the best.

We purchased a building from Hammers in December. Like with any new build, there have been a few VERY minor issues. What matters is how they are handled. So far, Hammers has been extremely responsive in getting all of them resolved. The communication has been top-notch, and everyone is extremely friendly.

Hammers and Construction Inc, have done an extremely great job and still doing a great job. I Was very happy with the way Steve Hammers and his staff helped me to build and develop a commercial property. They have gone above and beyond to make everything easy for me, from change in zoning and getting approvals your company completely exceed my expectations. Thank you for everything.

I can not say enough about Hammer Construction. They were extremely easy to work with and very professional. Phillip answered all my calls and questions along the way and made it a smooth process. Hammer Construction did an amazing job in the construction of our building, they were on time and ahead of schedule. I worked close with Robert Green was an awesome GM to work with. He was in communication with us the whole way great costumer service. In the end he was there to make sure we were satisfied with the work to be done, and he made notes to the items that needed touched up. After all was done we found another issue and his statement to us was "I would rather fix the problem then lose you as a costumer". When looking for a company in town to do construction Hammer's the company you should be looking for.

We were very reluctant to find Hammers Construction after reviewing several other general contractors for our project. Our project included a 7,000 square foot addition to our existing building along with a complete overhaul of our 20,000 square foot east lot. Our biggest concern was the impact on our functioning business during the construction. Hammers not only completed our project on time and on budget, they took extra care in making sure our lot functioned and our business had minimal impact from the construction. Hammers even went out of their way to dismantle an overhead heater last minute in our existing building to help us make space for a new piece of equipment we had ordered, this was not in the scope but Hammers took care of it anyway. We will be using Hammers again, and highly recommend you do as well.

Hammers Construction is really on top of things. They did everything they promised and within the timeline. Very refreshing to have a construction company do what they promised and on time. The project manager Rylan Morgan was on site continuously and made sure everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend them.

We hired Hammers Construction to do a 12,000 square foot warehouse/office project for us. This was a great decision as our finished product was all that was promised. More importantly than the fabulous work that was done was the relationship they created with us. They partnered with any challenge that came up to provide resources, expertise, and resolution. They did this with us, not as just a customer, but a valued partner. We thank the whole team for all that they did for us. Any future building will most definitely involve Hammers Construction.

We could not be happier with the building that Hammers Construction built for us. We were on an impossible timeline, we were very picky owners, and we had many changes from our original plan and Hammers came through on time and with a a beautiful project. Their staff is experienced, friendly, and treats you as if you are part of the family. I feel that our companies will share a long lasting relationship.

I have hired Hammers Construction for a couple different projects in the last few years. I have found each person at the company to be professional, competent and easy to work with (I have worked most closely with Tyler P. and Randy M. and they are both top notch). These folks care about the finished product and do everything they can to ensure a quality project all while taking care of the customer in the process. I'll continue doing business with them.

A few months back our office here in Colorado Springs had an Urgent build out that needed to be completed short notice. Within a day Jason had his team out there to quote the project and before we knew it the job was started. I was blown away to see how quick and efficiently his crew worked. Throughout life I’m always reminded of the triangle of production, it’s Quality, Price, and Time. You only get to pick two of the three. I think Hammers figured out how to break that mold because we received great quality work, a great competitive price, and they met our mandatory date in which the job had to be completed.

I have nothing less than great things to say about Hammers Construction

Hammers took great care of us. We were looking for a new building for our business, and happened upon a spec building they had started. They accommodated many changes to the original spec plan, and completed the work on a short time line for us. Any issues that arose during construction were handled with a quick response. Construction projects are never easy, but Hammers made the process relatively painless. I recommend them to anyone looking to build a new commercial project.

Hammer's Construction, specifically Joe Butler, completed a renovation of our new doggy daycare, boarding, and training facility in Colorado Springs. They did an excellent job and communication with Joe, has always been timely and professional. We feel we received a very high level of care and our new facility is beautiful with high quality finishings. Our project has ended, but Joe continues to be a point of contact for any questions or repairs that we need. We highly recommend Joe and Hammer's Construction.

Steve Hammers and his crew are simply the best! In my entire career as a CEO I contracted for about 80 commercial construction projects. Hammers Construction is the best construction company we ever had. Recently, they completed an addition to a shopping center for us that another contractor had screwed up. We were in panic mode when I called Hammers. The project was behind schedule and plagued with problems. They fast tracked the entire project and their pricing was less than I expected. Just after they got started we had 7 weeks of impossible weather. Hammers worked nights and weekends to make up the time and did not charge us anything extra. Their project manager, Joe Butler, did an amazing job and went way beyond in solving a variety of problems with our tenants. It was a pleasure doing business with real professionals. Hammers Construction did an awesome job at our facility, fully renovating (8) commercial restrooms. The project manager on our job, Jason Latham, did a great job communicating and coordinating with us throughout the project, as did the superintendent, Kris Kovalik.The project went very smoothly, and were are thrilled with the final product. We definitely recommend Hammers Construction, and look forward to using them again on other projects.
