OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Todd Thibodeaux gave us OUTSTANDING Customer Service and help in getting our house back in electrical order. In the future we will only deal with Downtown Electric and Lighting for our electrical needs.

The service was great! Justin came on time and fixed everything that I asked! He even told me other things that were wrong with my outlets! Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely impressed with this company thought I had a open hot on my outdoor plug. They saved me 150 bucks by talking me through the problem because of the year of my house. Very knowledgable about homes and how they are wired thank you so much!

Malachi was punctual - showing up with mask on, and thoroughly professional. He explained in detail the required work for my project, and provided some additional safety tips. He was also very polite, and observed COVID-19 precautions throughout his inspection.

Randy came to our home, he is very professional and friendly. Took care of our electric problem with efficiency, would recommend him and the company to any one, will be using them for all our electrical needs.

Todd is amazing! Always a pleasure to have visit the many sites I've worked on, and he always completes the job in a very timely manner. I always learn something new when I call DTE and get Todd as my technician. The man is a gentleman and a scholar.

They were fantastic. They spent quite a bit of time locating hidden breaker box to do what otherwise would have been a 5 or 10 minute job. I didn't get charged any extra. And once this was done they even helped me change an odd light bulb that I couldn't figure out how to unscrew.

Justin came to our home within 24 hours of our call. He was very professional and polite. Quality work completed on time! I will call them for future electric work.

Wow, we were dealing with an air conditioning failure during a heat spell that the installer (Bull’s Eye) was unable to fix, stating it was an electrical problem. After calling various highly rated electrical companies that would not be able to see us for several weeks my mom mentioned a yellow pages ad for Downtown Electrical & Lighting, and I looked them up and saw that every reviewer was very very satisfied with the service provided, and additionally very happy with the service providers professionalism and felt the cost was very fair.

So I called Downtown Electrical & Lighting, explained the situation to Joey, and he said he could be here same day. He came to the house within 2 hours, fixed the problem (which the HVAC company was unable to identify- a blown fuse!!! and charged us $137.75 for a problem their HVAC service provider certification qualified them to identify and fix, but unfortunately didn’t enough experience to do so before giving up and advising us was an electrical problem beyond their scope as a certified HVAC service provider).

I can’t express my satisfaction with Downtown Electrical & Lighting highly enough!!! So happy to have found an extremely professional and competent electrician, who has 33 years experience, and charges a very reasonable fee for service. Will use him to replace our electrical panel in the near future.

I called for an estimate on quite a variety services needed and this company made it out same day, spent enough time to discuss with me our options and what could be done. Both workers friendly and professional. Look forward to having the work done. Will update with the results

Great experience all around. Came in to diagnose the issue (being faulty circuit breakers) and immediately started working towards a solution. Very friendly and will provide tips to maintain the longevity of your household (electrically). Highly recommended for the service and the pricing.

In the thick of our siding & deck replacement project, Todd (sales) & Derek (electrician) figured out how to add some outdoor light wiring & switches, remove unsightly conduit & hide its wires where new siding will be installed, and remove wiring from two obsolete, unneeded venting fans. As materials come in & siding goes on, we’re looking forward to having Downtown Electric replace outdoor outlets with new ones with gfi’s & less noticeable boxes, which they’ll be able to mount flush wth our walls - a nice improvement over the big boxy things on our walls now. We’re set for Krueger Brothers (also great) to remove those (now unwired) fans & easily install new lights. Derek & our KB crew hit it off & seemed to easily coordinate their projects here, even as we changed our minds on the fly. Last night Todd dropped what he was doing to join me by FaceTime.. He was able to remotely analyze & come up with a solution for a new outlet install conundrum. These guys aren’t just good at what they do… they’re flexible & easy going as well. (Same is true of Krueger Brothers - we’re blessed)
