Had Spectrum come out late last year to do a quote for a whole-house setup with transfer switch and related options. Very professional. We debated going with a partial house setup, but decided that it wasn't that much more cost to do the full thing. They scheduled us a few months out due to the winter season and ended up being able to do it about a month early. County inspector came out to review both electrical and gas work, and commented that Spectrum was one of the better contractors in our area and he'd never had to flag a code issue in any of the builds he had reviewed. Propane company also did an inspection of the plumbing work and was happy as well. Overall build out took a few days (but we stretched it across 2-3 weeks because of our own scheduling and availability. We've been very happy and have had neighbors ask about the process.

Bobby Aguon is a terrific Tech. He answered all of my questions and walked me through the system operation.

The installers were terrific, extremely meticoulas so everything looked great with the generator install. Also presale was also great to work with

I normally don’t rate but I wanted to give Spectrum Electric in Conifer, CO a shout out for exceptional customer service. In under two weeks from first contacting them, I had a new generator installed and operational. From Dylan who did the quoting, to Miguel, Nate, Jesus and Ivan who arrived on time and worked in a blizzard for the install, to Ryan and Bobby who hooked up the propane and did the test tun, all were ON TIME, courteous and did great work. These guys all know what they’re doing and I am grateful they were able to get me scheduled so fast. Thanks Javier, you have a great crew.

Ryan & Bear did a full service. Informative and friendly as always. I’ve had zero problems in this Generac and I believe it’s because of their regularly scheduled maintenance. 👍🏼

They offered the best installed price, the best payment terms and the best schedule. Their installation team was professional, and I'm very satisfied with the final installation. Spectrum Electric is the best!
They installed the generator earlier in their schedule than they predicted, which is probably more just good luck and a cancellation.
More importantly, they did an amazing, efficient, and professional job. The generator sits under a raised deck, and on a bed of rock. The rock was moved to accommodate the generator, then replaced so well that it doesn't look like the rock was ever moved. The ground was warmed for several days before the installation so that the underground connections could be dug and easily made. The wiring in the original breaker box on the wall inside the garage was cleaned up and organized so that the crew knew that all the necessary connections were clearly made.
The county inspector said that Spectrum usually does an amazing and complete job, and this one was no different.
Use this company! You will not be disappointed! BTW, this is a whole-house Generac backup generator.

Kristen with Spectrum Electric is awesome...so patient and helpful. She was able to talk us through how to reset our generator when we had overpowered it during the recent multi-day power outage

Spectrum Electric installed a new service box as ours had zero room for adding anything. Then they installed a generac back up generator. When the city inspector came he said Spectrum is the best and always does a perfect job. Everything has worked great- great company.

We've had a whole house generator since we moved to the mountains 8 years ago. The generator always comes on when the power goes out and we live stress free from fear of power outages.

We just had a new water heater installed, and in the process, they must have let some air into the gas line and when the power went out this week the generator did not start. We called Spectrum and told them we lost our key (they could have walked us through starting it if we hadn't lost it) but within 15 minutes, someone showed up and started it and gave us a new key.

The guys who do the yearly maintenance and always efficient.

During this intentional electrical shutdown, my generator stopped working when the power came back on. Ryan came out, the end of his busy day, and it turned out that it just needed to be reset (unlike my previous company that serviced my generator, stating it was a bigger issue, without even coming out to see what was really wrong). Thank you, Ryan and Spectrum Electric, you now have a new customer!

Annual Generac service on 10/29/2025.
Technician work flow was very coordinated and explained all procedures he performed. Gave thourough instructions on monthly checks I should perform to eliminate possible future problems. Great and friendly service. I would suggest to give this technician a raise. Gotta keep good and knowledgeable employees. That's my personal comment.
