We had an Aprilaire humidifier installed today. The team of Elijah, Gemini, Dominic and Izzy came out for the install. They were a fantastic team! They were all upbeat and worked together to install, while being respectful of our home. They exhibited great attention to detail and took the time to explain the device and maintenance afterwards. We highly recommend this team at Controlling Systems!

Another great furnace check-up. This time my serviceman was Vincent. He called ahead to alert me that he was on his way. He checked out the year old furnace and AC leaving no mess behind for me to clean up. He offered to install new filters next time since I had just changed them myself. I have used this company for years and continue to be pleased with their integrity and service.

These good folks absolutely rock. Moved in to a new (to me) home, and with the bitter cold, the furnace went bonkers. They came out on NO notice, fixed it, cleaned it, adjusted everything and gave me some great maintenance advice. Chuck and Vincent were the solid service techs and the home office folks are super friendly, reassuring, and PROFESSIONAL. Fair pricing, too.

I had a great experience with Controlling Systems. Ryan, who provided the free estimate, was really knowledgeable and provided a fair estimate. The installers, Gemini, Roman, and Rudy, were all very professional and did great work. The new A/C has been up and running for about a week with no problems so far. Nice to know we now have a new, quality system in place that will hopefully be good to go for years to come.

2024 Update: Another great experience with Controlling Systems for a new house. Ryan again provided a fair estimate, and Roman and Vince (and the electrician) did a great job with the install---clean work, super professional, and stayed late until the job was done. Really appreciate the work they did for us.

Company is responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. Our AC was not cooling in the current heat wave and the house was extremely hot. They had a tech Izzy, come out the next day for service. He was extremely thorough, fixed the cooling problem that day and also found an issue with our furnace that we need to take care of. He was very honest, knowledgeable and a nice person to boot.

Jimmy and Darren did a great job on our install! We love our mini split! Would highly recommend controlling systems!

From the initial pricing visit through installation day the team performed all scope discussed, and completed within agreed time frames.
Despite the City cancelling the promised rebate post install, Controlling Systems still honored their proposal and did not attempt to pass their loss on to me.
I intend to call on this supplier for future HVAC and Solar project needs.

I give high praise to Controlling Systems. They have great customer service all around. I had 3 properties to schedule and one phone call is all that was needed. They coordinated with my tenants and called back with a date and times for the appointments.

On the day of service, Izzy went over and beyond to help me with all the properties. He was thorough, efficient and really helped to make my systems better than he found them. He is a superstar and I hope he can come back out to help me again in the fall.

Exceptional service. Isidoro was punctual, had great communication before and during the service visit, and managed to fix my heating system within hours after I made an appointment. When I ran into another HVAC problem after business hours, he offered to return to my house in the evening and fixed the issue quickly. I highly recommend Controlling Systems to anyone in the Denver area.

Called Controlling Systems this morning when my furnace would not fire. They sent a technician, Chuck, over and he arrived about 3 hours later, and he was even 30 minutes early. He checked out my furnace and identified the problem quickly. He checked to see if it was available and what it would cost. The part was available and he could pick it up and install it later today. He was back in a couple hours, installed the controller and had my furnace running again. It was less than 8 hours from when I called until he had my furnace heating my home again. Controlling Systems was great to work with today and I even signed up for the annual maintenance program they offer.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are polite, kind, thoughtful, HONEST, and thorough. They also show up on time. My AC unit was not working properly: it would blow and air and not cool. The condenser wasn't even turning on. I called a *different company* first, and the guy came out and immediately said I had to replace my AC, and gave me some quotes. He did not investigating or diagnostics. Then I called Controlling Systems, saying I needed a quote for AC replacement. Chris came out and did a ton of investigating and measuring, and also asked if I had someone run diagnostics. I said no, and he strongly suggested I have someone come run diagnostics to see if my AC could be fixed. After Chris left, he continued to investigate the process for replacing my AC, since I live in a historic building and the set up for the ducted AC is also unusual. He called me back to tell me about permitting issues, etc. The first company said nothing about permits.
Then Brian came from Controlling Systems to do the diagnostic work. He investigated, and he rather quickly found that something had tripped the breaker for the electrical circuit for the AC. He simply flipped the switch, and my AC worked again. He also showed me aI needed to change the filter on the air handler. So my cost was $200, rather than $10,000-$20,000.

I'm so grateful for the considerate and thoughtful approach that Controlling System demonstrates.

I choose Controlling Systems to replace my old furnace with a heat pump and to add in air conditioning, which I did not have in my 100 year old house. Chris came by to give me details on the system they would install and to provide a very competitive estimate. He was available by phone to answer a few more questions that I had before I committed.

The install took a day and a half and after a last minute decision, they also installed a whole-house humidifier. After the install, I had some issues with noises from the unit placed outside and the humidifier itself. Rudy came by and fixed these issues explaining what he did to damper the noises. He was very professional and also answered all my questions.

I will definitely recommend Controlling Systems to anyone wishing to have a heat pump installed. I am now sitting very comfortably in my house, which has light humidity - perfect on a cold, dry Colorado winter day. The system is very quiet and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Controlling Systems recently installed a mini-split heat pump for me. The whole process was smooth and surprisingly efficient. Ryan, the salesperson, was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention helpful when explaining the system and how the whole thing would work. The install manager Rudy was professional, and so were the install techs Elias and Elijah (apologies for misspelling or just pain being wrong, I'm terrible with names). The communication was great, I felt like I knew exactly what the work was and when it was going to happen. Great job!

My experience with controlling Systems was excellent. Jim and Elijah installed an AC unit and an attic furnace. They worked continuously for two days until completing the install. At all times they were cordial, thorough and kept me up to date with every component of the install. In addition they both spent time answering all of my questions during the install and after. Finally, I accepted proposals from several HVAC companies before choosing CS. I chose CS because their proposal was the most affordable considering everything included and also because they seemed the most knowledgeable.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to leave a review or not, but I will be doing business with Controlling Systems again in the future, so I’m hoping this positive review helps keep them around. I’ve had HVAC and plumbing work done in the past through other companies and decided to try a new vendor for my most recent project: a heat pump water heater install and removal of a gas water heater.

I began by doing a bit of research and reached out to five different companies. Controlling Systems was the first company to get back to me, leaving me with an initial impression of their professionalism from their timely communication. I’m not sure if winter is a slow time for the industry or not, but I met with a consultant for a quote within the week. Chris P did a great job showing me various options along with their various rebates and incentives. The best part of the entire interaction was that he didn’t pressure me into the install. I’ve had consultants be overly pushy in the past and that’s a red flag for me and to start looking elsewhere. So I decided why not, and proceeded to schedule the install.

A week passes and the install day has arrived. To my pleasant surprise, there are 3 trucks and a whole team to work on the removal, electrical, and install of the water heater. This completely shattered my expectations set by previous contractors as I was use to seeing 2-3 crew members at most from other companies. They were quick and efficient with their work and I had a new water heater by the end of the day and 10 days after I began my initial research. I’m very impressed and hope to continue doing business with Controlling Systems for the foreseeable future.
