We moved into a home built in the 90's. It was underpriced (thanks to the aging decor) and on a great lot, but there was a lot of work to do to bring it up to our standards. The idea of researching vendors, contractors and picking out finishes became an overwhelming reality soon after moving in. I felt paralyzed and stuck. I knew I needed help and reached out to Julee and her team. She came in to my home and immediately took over and I never lifted a finger again. My efforts amounted to oohing and aahing over swatches and samples with a simple yes or no. That's it. We completely gutted most of our first floor, moved walls, plumbing and even replaced a support beam. No small task. Everything was done to the highest standards and now that it is complete, it is nothing short of amazing. My once dated house with "orange" stained wood and a huge wet bar (hard to believe these were ever cool) looks like something out of a magazine or a high end model home. I love being in it and I can't wait for phase 2. If my master bedroom and bath turn out as well, I don't think I'll ever leave home again. Do yourself a favor and skip the headaches... just call Julee.

Julee Jordening-Wray of Truss Interiors completed a renovation of our unoccupied condominium in March 2020 to create a more contemporary look for our unit. The renovation entailed repair work, re-painting, re-carpeting, replacing fixtures and installation of new lighting throughout. Her design and color scheme lightened up the entire space and accentuated the soaring windows and 20 foot ceilings overlooking the city of Denver. Despite the ongoing pandemic, she was able to coordinate all the workmen and delivered the remodeling project on time and on budget. Her knowledge and expertise were very apparent in choosing professional workers. She also communicated with us in a timely manner throughout the entire process, and carefully followed all the rules and guidelines required of the high-rise building. We highly recommend Julee Gardening-Wray as a designer and remodeling manager.

Identifying a deciding to work with a designer can be daunting “ do they understand you, your vision, timeline and budget” ?
Julee’s guidance and input hit the nail on all points. She was not only tremendously insightful, she made the process so much easier; I mean…I don’t gut rooms everyday….. so it can be intimidating.
Julie always found me options to choose from with no pressure; at let me say there is always so many design options it can be difficult to make final decisions. I mean, you want to get it right.

However, what sets Julee apart is that her key motivator and thought was always – “I want you to be ecstatic with your final decisions”. She was very professional but made me laugh on days I needed it… I mean , there were days my husband and I were not on the same page. She did do some “counseling” ha and very well I might add!
Over all , If you feel like you don’t need a designer ; and you can do it yourself; please think again. I was happy to have the professional and core competencies she brought to make my home absolutely beautiful.
I would highly recommend and getting ready to do some more rooms with her soon.

Julie and her team redesigned and remodeled the entire first floor of our house, including family room, kitchen, laundry room, and living room/dining room, and we could not be more pleased with the results. The process she used for space planning and interior design was very much guided by our tastes and preferences. As a result, the end product is 100 percent aligned with our tastes, but far more ‘complete’ and ‘polished’ than we could have achieved alone. Our house feels more like “home” today than when we started.

We could not have been happier with the construction team that Julie brought to work on our project - Woods Remodeling. They were trustworthy, detail-oriented, kept us appraised of the job status all through the process, and were thorough in their explanations of unexpected changes and additions to the original scope of work. They even played with our young children and dog periodically 😀

We will be remodeling the other parts of our home in the coming years and will definitely use Truss Interiors when we begin this work.

Julee at Truss Interiors transformed our dull, unfinished living area into a beautiful and functional space for our family to enjoy for years to come. She has an incredible ability to conceptualize a space’s potential and help bring it to life! We were amazed by her vision which included an entirely new layout that completely changed the way that we use our main floor; we now have a spacious dining area for indoor/outdoor living, a gorgeous sitting/reading area in front of a refaced and updated fireplace, and a perfect play space for our young toddler. She even managed to fit in a new music area, all while still making the whole space seem larger and more open than before. We NEVER could have come up with these changes on our own, much less decorated the space with a variety of vintage accessories, gorgeous lighting, and carefully-selected furniture and art. Julee took the time during our initial consultation to really listen to us and understand our goals for the renovation. She has transformed our home to create a more relaxing, functional, and BEAUTIFUL space that we look forward to coming home to each day. We cannot recommend Julee and her team at Truss Interiors highly enough, and hope to work with her again soon on other projects.

Julee is truly one of the most dedicated, passionate, detail-oriented people you will meet.  She designed our full basement remodel with ease and turned it into a highly functional and beautiful space.

It's refreshing to work with a designer that not only listens to what you want and need, but offers recommendations to help save you time and money.  My husband is a big DIY kind of guy and she has been very open to his input.

Not only is Julee reliable, but so are the vendors she chooses to work with.  It's comforting to know all individuals involved are dependable and experts at their craft.  The ball will not be dropped on her watch!

Julee helped us to more effectively use our space on our first floor. This was quite the project that involved removing walls, moving piping/HVAC, moving a fireplace and moving a bathroom. We love the new layout and how updated our house looks. We always found it hard to make our style flow throughout the house and all look good together. Julee has a great eye and really helps with pulling all of your ideas together. Our favorite part is that our home is now both beautiful and functional!

Julee designed a total renovation on our home. She is very talented and capable! She listened to us and was able to replicate our tastes into her design. This was a big project that required Julee to be attentive to the many behind the scene details. Julee, thank you for a job well done.

Julee at Truss Interiors transformed my poorly planned kitchen space into this amazing and beautifully functional space. As soon as Julee suggested her initial ideas - a new layout that combined the kitchen and dining space - I was blown away by her vision! She was thorough in all the big and little details of the design, production selection and delivery, and project management. She really can envision and execute a great idea down to the nails!

Julee was introduced to me as the designer chosen by HGTV for a House Hunters Renovation program we were a part of. She was extensively interviewed by HGTV to design our kitchen and dining room space. We were so impressed by her design and enjoyed working with her, that we hired her to help with the rest of the house. I have never worked with a designer before. I can say confidently now that this house renovation would not have been the same without her. She saved us so much time in making decisions. She also brought unique design choices that made our house something unique and special. A total house renovation is not exactly fun, but she took out a lot of the stress and indecision. Julee stands out to me in her professionalism, her reputation among the building community, and her skilled design ability.

We worked with Julee at Truss Interiors on our recent remodel. We started out only wanting to knock down a wall and create a giant kitchen. We ended up refreshing the whole house and redecorating our main bedroom, in addition to our major kitchen project. Julee’s design ideas are phenomenal!! I showed her a bunch of random pins on my kitchen board, and she came up with the most beautiful interpretation of all of the elements that I would not have been able to put together myself. We did this whole project throughout the pandemic, and even though the world was completely turned upside down, Julee’s calm demeanor and patient approach to all the hiccups was much needed, and very much appreciated. We *will* be working with her again when we do our addition, and when we update our bathroom. We can’t wait to see what ideas she has for the next phase of updating our forever home! I can’t recommend Truss Interiors enough.

Julee and her team transformed our home beyond what we could have ever imagined on our own. She has incredible vision and talent for adding those small details that take a space to the next level. We were impressed with how well she designed a style that we couldn’t have articulated ourselves but matched us perfectly.

We had a great dialog during the design process with Julee. She always presented options, listened to our likes and dislikes to really understand what we wanted. She also pushed us on a few things that we were initially weary on. She’s flexible on many of the design elements but we appreciated that she held her ground on a few key things. Of course, in the end when once her vision came to life, we were so grateful she pushed us out of comfort zone.

Julee is also a very talented project manager. She kept our project on time even during some difficult circumstances related to Covid. All of her contractors were a pleasure to work with, very professional with incredible craftsmanship. Julee was quick to take care of any issues that came up, without us ever having to be involved. She made the entire project painless, efficient, and hugely successful. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by a home remodel and want help from start to finish, Julee is your woman!

We were so fortunate to find Julee when we decided to renovate our master bathroom. We weren’t sure what we wanted, but we wanted the bathroom to feel modern yet traditional. We wanted it to be our sanctuary at the end of a busy day. Julee designed a bathroom that exceeded our expectations and we are so in love with it. She’s a joy to work with, stays on top of every detail and made the whole remodel process painless. We had a medical situation with a family member who was hospitalized during the remodel period, and Julee went out of her way to be there at our home for workers or installations when someone needed to be and I couldn’t. She truly cares about her clients on a personal level. We have a new bathroom that is beautiful, modern and it fits seamlessly into our style of home. She is a very talented designer.

With unequivocal thanks, we can truly say we love our “new” house. We hired Julee initially to update and rework our difficult builder grade kitchen and dated family room – we ended up with a redone first floor that finally works from the front door to kitchen. Julee took ideas, personal likes/dislikes, artwork and use into consideration and the result is a gorgeous space that is comfortable, easy to cook in and great to hang out in. We wanted to take our cookie cutter floor plan and make it better and now it is clean, classic and personalized without being trendy. Her contractors and their subs were easy to work with and meticulous in their attention to detail.

Thank you to Julee and her team for exceeding our expectations. It was a bit nerve racking to gut our kitchen, living room, and dining area down to the joists, even removing walls, but Julee made the experience easy and enjoyable.

Julee has a strong eye for design, but always listened to our likes and dislikes. She helped us understand our own style; sometimes having to tactfully steer us in the right direction. Julee helped us to make budget friendly choices without cutting any corners or sacrificing design or function.

With very little time on our hands to do a remodel, Julee planned and oversaw our remodel from start to finish. She is detail oriented, organized, responsive, and works very well with her contractor. If there was an issue (there were few), she promptly corrected it.

We absolutely love our new space; it’s beautiful and functional! So much more than we could have imagined!

Julee and the team at Truss Interiors know interior design! Having purchased a home that has a very open floor plan, we were looking for a nice, cohesive design flow throughout. We are so pleased with the furniture selections and various layers of texture pulled together, room by room, to give our home an elegant yet comfortable feel. We could have never achieved the final product on our own. Julee and her team had the vision and brought that vision to life.

On the administrative side of the project, Truss Interiors worked diligently to keep us updated on our furniture order and installation days every step of the way. Julee and her team were also able to bring in the right partners throughout the project to get various parts of the project installed (lighting, window treatments, wall coverings, etc.).

Amazing experience with Julee and her team. I honestly do not think we could have completed our Winter Park remodel/rebuild without her. There was great (and timely) responsiveness to myself and to our builder. In the end, her detailed plans were relied on more than the architect. She listened to our vision, gave insight, and truly helped us get to a product in the end that we loved. In the process, I can also say I feel like I gained a friend. Great team. Great process. Great results.

I was really overwhelmed with the idea of decorating an entire house, but when I hired Truss Interiors, they took charge and did all the hard work for me! I can't say enough great things about Julee, Aubrey and the entire Truss team. Just from showing them a few Pinterest boards they "got me" and ultimately delivered the home decor of my dreams. Being sort of a clueless first time home owner, Julee also gently talked me out of a lot of bad ideas and into great ones, which I greatly appreciate. Cannot recommend Truss Interiors enough!

I worked with Julee and Aubrey when remodeling my house, and I am thrilled with the results. I don't have much of an aesthetic streak and find design to be nerve-wracking, but they were able to guide me through everything from finding inspiration to the final reveal. I really appreciated their presentation of two different design packages, it allowed me to take things in and see how I felt rather than making dozens of choices with no idea whether they would fit together. The final result is like living in a catalog, only everything is to my tastes. It truly feels like home.

My husband and I purchased a home earlier this year and worked with Julee on the design features of our main floor renovation.  We were moving from out of state and needed to find someone who we trusted to carry out our vision prior to us moving in, and Julee was the perfect designer for that.  We had a tight timeline and she did an amazing job coordinating with us and the contractor to keep our renovation on time and within budget.  Julee got a sense of our style very quickly and presented us with curated options to choose from that also lent themselves to flexibility for some of the changes we made mid-renovation.  We loved working with Julee and are so happy with the results of our home renovation.  We would recommend her to anyone and look forward to working with her again when we're ready for future home renovations!

When our family of three moved from a small apartment into a new home, we were overwhelmed at the amount of work that needed to be done to make our new cookie cutter build feel like the cozy home we had dreamed of. When I first contacted Julee with Truss Interiors, I explained my dilemma. We hadn’t gotten to pick any of the finishes on our house, and though the space was just right, the dark floors dark cabinets didn’t match our taste at all, but with needing to furnish an entire house, new flooring and cabinets were not in the budget. We wanted to furnish and decorate in a way that would distract us from what we didn’t like with what we did like. After several consultations with perspective designers, we felt confident that Julee could best accomplish our goal.

We were blown away by the outcome!

In the months that followed, we watched our sterile, blank space become a warm and cozy home. Julee, Jane and the rest of the team, including Ben - the best contractor we have ever worked with, carried out our wishes and then so much more. It was like watching a movie set come to life. No one walks into our home without commenting on how beautiful it is. The team did an outstanding job incorporating new furniture with antique accessories, custom drapes, and accent wallpaper murals, creating a space that tells a story, and makes you feel both inspired and at home. My favorite part of all is my daughter’s nursery. It’s truly magical and I’m so excited to watch her develop her personality in a room that inspires her imagination.
