When disaster struck at our house just before the holidays, Tyler Andrews and the team at Davey Tree Denver (Craig & Steve) went into action, making sure we were safe and putting in the hours getting things done. Because of their diligence and concern, we were able to safely return to our home for the holidays.

Three wonderful women, Carolyn, Morgan, and Laura came out to trim a huge Austrian Pine and a large Plum. They did a magnificent job and were willing to take suggestion from me. Due to its size, Laura had to climb the Austrian Pine. She was very agile and adept. I appreciated their efficiency, and the fact they were so pleasant to work with and so helpful.

The people at Davey are top notch, all trying to help all the time, and the pricing is very reasonable. Don’t bother with the random companies that you find on the web!

Carolyn & Laura were absolutely wonderful & pleasant to work with. They both had a positive, can-do attitude and had the patience to find the perfect position for each tree planted even with multiple “tweakings”. They truly cared about doing a professional, quality job and they did exactly that! Thank you!

We have used Davey Tree for many years. They have kept our old evergreens doing well with antidessicant sprays in the winter. The deciduous trees we planted have thrived. Their techs are always polite, letting us know when they are doing the work, so we can keep the animals in for the short time necessary.

Morgan, Ali and Laura came to prune a Locust tree in front yard 11/2/23. I have never seen a crew that worked better together. On time, well organized, fast and efficient. They all three really went the extra mile. Plus, very friendly and professional. These ladies really proved they know what they are doing. First class all the way.

Davey always does a great job on our yard. Due to the extremely dry condidetions in colorado this year they came and serviced all our trees with winter watering.

Excellent job! The work leader was informative and gave great advice. Cleanup was thorough and they even cleaned up the driveway which was kind of a mess before they came. Highly recommend!

Affordable, punctual, efficient, and knowledgeable are words that I definitely would use to describe our experience. Highly recommend them!

Can’t say enough good about Mike, Will and crew. All were exceptionally friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. They cut down and hauled two large trees that were damaged beyond saving by the HR Tornado. They were compassionate about our loss and even helped to re-erect my kid’s playhouse that blew into our neighbor’s yard. Will call again!

Had a great experience with Davey Tree again! This time, Had the All Female tree climbing crew trim our two large silver maples. The gals did a great job, very professional, and trees look great. They cleaned up great afterwards with the yard looking better than how it looked when they got there. Thank you!

After acquiring 3 estimates for what it would cost to have an ornamental apple tree with fire blight removed, I hired Dave Tree to do the work. They removed the apple tree as well as 3 Alberta spruce trees that were failing, ground those stumps and the stump of a huge cottonwood tree I had removed the prior year. The work was exceptional - they did an excellent job in a timely manner for an incredible price! (A neighbor who does tree work came to ask what it cost to grind the cottonwood stump – he was amazed when I told him – said I got a really good deal!) The best part was how they handled a problem. They had to bring the stump grinder up some stairs constructed of railroad ties and also use it on top of a tie to get one of the smaller stumps. Admittedly, these ties are old and there is some rot in them. Moving the grinder over these ties caused some inadvertent damage. I was ready to defend my request that they repair the damage based on the fact that normal wear and tear would not require me to replace these any time in the near future. Mike Protextor (the boss) came out and looked at the damage. I didn’t even have to defend my position – they damaged it, they would repair it – and that is just what he did! Again, excellent work in a timely manner. Who does that anymore??? I highly recommend Davey Tree and will have them back in the fall to trim a tree in my front yard!

I had recently had a misunderstanding on a service. After speaking with Jay he took full responsibility for the issue and made everything right. They do amazing work and and were more than willing to make the situation work. That’s the sign of a good,honest well run company. Don’t hesitate to use them.

We have trusted our tree care to Davey for years. Our Autumn Blaze Maple is under some duress and the team of women who came out to do some trimming last week were awesome! Have tried many firms from big to small over the years (home owner for 17+ years). Have always had 3-4 big trees that need attention every other year or so. Just moved a touch further south and was referred by a new friend on our block. Hands down the best in town from the value in the cost of the services to how great of a clean up they do. I see no reason to try anyone else (not many left :-)) Davey will have my business from here on forward. Big Thank you Jay and his team!!

I had the pleasure of working with Davey in Centennial near my home removing a LARGE (biggest on the block) cottonwood that was dying. Between Michael’s quick and easy direction and quoting(the most competitive we explored) and Bob, Natali, and crews expertise, they swiftly and carefully removed the tree, down to the stump, and ground that down. They were efficient, friendly, and fast. Bob went above and beyond taking apart/putting back some fencing we had to move for the equipment, and natali did similar adjustments to the equipment to efficiently operate in the small space in the back. I’ve had other trees removed of slightly smaller size, and still paid more for a lesser standard of work. Thank you all. If you need a tree down, call around if you want to waste your time and money, otherwise call Davey.

My husband I bought a home last year with massive elm trees that were in serious need of some TLC. We had a really bad elm leaf beetle problem that led to the leaves being almost completely eaten, with the beetles getting into our home constantly. We worked with Davey to put together a care plan for the trees and in just one year, we have two incredibly beautiful, full canopy elm trees. I could not be happier!! Not to mention the investments we made in these trees are saving us tons of money on cooling as we have way more shade this year than last. Davey also did some much-needed pruning for us last year and after w wind storm, we had a big branch come down. Davey came right out after a phone call and handled the storm damage at a discount since we just spent so much on trimming. Very professional, reasonable, and responsive. Highly recommend the Davey team!!
