We completed plumbing for them and they never paid us. We did a project with them and they haven’t paid their bill and told us to get our legal team involved after thanking us for the work we completed and approving in writing our estimate and agreeing.

At no point prior to or during the project was a permit requested, required in writing, or made a condition of payment in the approved estimate, scope of work, communication or purchase order. The project was clearly communicated and agreed to as a temporary solution with urgency, and it was completed accordingly and approved upon completion.

Payment was repeatedly promised for several months with no mention of permitting. The permit requirement was only raised after payment became overdue, which is why this matter is now being handled through legal counsel.
