Nick did a great job! Jason the subcontractor that he hired was amazing as well! And all of the other subcontractors were prompt and kept everything clean and any issues that we had were immediately addressed and they really listen to our needs and wants. I needed a carpenter to build a fireplace surround over an old 70's brick fireplace. Isaac put me in touch with his brother Matthew. From start to finish this was a worry free experience. Matthew was on time and kept me informed in all phases of the project. Always polite and courteous Matthew was a pleasure to deal with. His attention to detail impressed me and I'm pretty finicky. Isaac and his team are quality people doing quality work. They took over our water damage repair/reno project after a local company left us with a mess. They stepped in , worked with our insurance to get quotes, etc submitted and then finished our project better than we could have imagined. I want to give a shout out to Nickelson Construction. They recently completed a basement remodel for us and they did a tremendous job. They are by far and away the best home construction group I have ever worked with. They were professional, on time and on budget. Their online project management software kept us up to date on all phases of the project from start to finish. Their project Manager, Jason Chavez, was a pleasure to work with and repeatedly went the extra mile to make sure our project looked great and stayed on budget. He even personally built and installed a sliding barn door for one of our rooms. I would recommend This group to anyone considering a home improvement project. This group understands customer service and knows how to deliver a great product.

We got a quote from Nickelson Construction for an addition we're planning. Although we didn't use Nickelson in the end due only to cost, we were so very impressed with our process with them--from the initial consult at our home, to communication afterward, and finally, to the estimate we received. Everything they did was incredibly professional and detailed, which we appreciated. It is clear that they absolutely know what they're doing and do good work.

We really can’t say enough about Isaac, Steven, and the rest of the team. They added an over-sized garage, a large driveway, a laundry room, pantry, and home office as well as did some significant exterior upgrades. The whole process was wonderful. We felt like our ideas/thoughts were listened to and considered, while appropriate design/cost-saving suggestions were communicated thoughtfully. The upfront process was a bit hard for me to understand at first, but it turned out to be worth the time and careful planning as it set the rest of the process up for success. While nothing in construction seems to be cheap these days, I fully trust this team to give honest and fair prices while still ensuring the highest quality work. And, importantly, we paid the exact number that was given to us in the initial pre-construction phase unless we made a subsequent change/addition. The project was completed on schedule and as expected. All of the subs that showed up communicated how high the standards of professionalism and quality were expected of them by the team. Our property was considerately cared for and our space was respected by all of them, which was wonderful since we lived at the property during the entire construction. Isaac and Steven do everything by the book… All T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted and you just don’t have to worry about something going awry. Having been through some less than ideal prior experiences, this is a welcome change—the design, engineering, construction, and finishes were all vetted and guaranteed. Our project was finished about 7-8 months ago and we’ve had no surprises or problems except for 2 minor things: a garage door opener issue that they sent people to fix the next day and a cabinet door that broke from our dog—they fixed it free of cost. But all doors still open and close perfectly, no settling or cracks in the drywall, the driveway is a dream, no one walks away without commenting on how great the result turned out… we could go on and on. Through the whole process from start to finish they have been very responsive, very kind, and very good. In fact, we are still thinking and dreaming about a phase 2 (hopefully the last one) and there is no chance that we will go with anybody else. I’m sure there are lots of great home remodel/new build companies out there, but Nickelson Construction is at the top of that list.

Isaac and his team did a renovation project for us recently, and I could not recommend them highly enough. From concept to design to execution, the final product was everything we hoped for and more. Even with challenges that always happen, and some last minute and ongoing changes, the project stayed on track and on budget. We love our new space. Amazing team to work with! We moved into a new house with an unfinished basement. Nickelson Construction was great to communicate with and got started shortly after we moved to complete our home! We are super happy with the way it came out! It matched the visuals provided during the proposal stage, so the finished product looked exactly like what we expected it too! We use the new space daily- it was great to work with a team that started quickly, had each step back to back ready to go without long breaks in between each stage, and an outcome that was exactly what we were expecting! Our special/custom requests were achieved and made the space that much more special for us to LOVE! If you are lucky enough to get to work with Jason, that factor alone will change your experience! These guys are absolutely the best at what they do. We hired Nickelson Construction to complete our whole house remodel. We completely renovated it, removed walls, raised ceilings, re-did bathrooms and kitchen, etc and Isaac and his team was at the center of it all. They are professional, on time, consistent and follow up on all of their projects. I never knew I could trust a contractor as much as I did Isaac. He consistently followed up with us throughout all of the projects and made sure we were completely happy with all of the outcome. With such a huge project, it made all the difference having a piece of mind and knowing that it was handled by them, the quality of work is outstanding plus they are just genuinely good people. Not only would we recommend them to everyone including friends and family, I would not even hesitate to use them in the future, big or small jobs.

We approached Nickelson Construction (NC) with a variety of repairs and remodeling ideas for a newly purchased house. NC was able to undertake all our proposals under one project, which was both efficient and saved us a lot of headaches. Isaac Nickelson helped with design to bring some of our vaguer ideas into focus and guide us to quality products to avoid decisions we would regret, all the while respecting our goals. Project manager Steven Skaggs was attentive to our concerns, a master of detail, and persistent in solving whatever problems arose. There was excellent collaboration between NC and other providers who were installing special equipment for us (e.g., FoCo Connection, Best Buy), Steven always making himself available for appointments for these additional installations. We were kept well informed of progress throughout the several months of this project through online tools and phone calls, which was a great help as we were monitoring the project remotely.

I do not hesitate to recommend NC and would happily turn to them for future projects.
