I cannot say enough about this wonderful, local, family-run company. My next door neighbor let me know she’s selling her home and I needed to trim the tree in my front yard that was hanging well onto her property and had likely never been cared for before we purchased our home earlier this year. Northern Colorado Tree Service came out and now my tree looks healthy, lighter and has room to fill out!! Not to mention the owners and crew were a pleasure to work with. The crew was timely, professional, kind, cleaned everything up beautifully and worked quickly! We’ll definitely be calling for all future tree services.

Jackie and James were wonderful to work with! They were the most responsive out of all companies we contacted, and very professional but extremely kind as well. We needed significant trimming done on 4 mature trees in our yard, and not only did they do this, but took the trees health into consideration too. Not knowing much about trees myself, this not only came in handy, but they saved us a small bit of money by not doing a hack job and cutting a limb that didn’t actually need to be cut. If you are looking for a quality company that knows what they are doing, I highly recommend this one! We are more than satisfied by the entire experience and happy to contribute to a local small business!

These guys were awesome! They had everything planned out ahead of time to make it stress free for me! They had the job done in nearly half the time other companies would've taken....including clean up! They also had the best price out of all the quotes I've received. I would recommend Northern Colorado Tree Service to anyone and everyone! I've already recommended them 3 times since they finished with my tree.....and it's only been 9 hours

I hired them to cut down a dead tree in my yard. They were responsive, someone came out to check out the tree within a day or two of contacting them, and they were quick to schedule the job. When the crew showed up they were polite and professional, they cleaned up after themselves, and they got the job done super fast! I think the price was reasonable and was worth every penny. Thanks! I will definitely call them the next time I need a trimming or removal.

They are great! From the initial bid, which was very reasonable, to juggling the service date to help me out, to the incredibly fast, and efficient actual tree removal! The crew were, very knowledgeable, friendly, and did a wonderful job of cleaning up! I'll definitely call Jackie and James again!

Arrived on time. This was a very large tree and took down tree quickly. Stump grind to ground level. Cleaned up like they had never been there. A throughly professional job!

I am fortunate to have found Tree Works. I have used this company for several years. They are very professional, skilled, and certified in their field. Brian, the owner, has all the certifications and degrees needed to provide the best in service in Northern Colorado. His estimates are affordable and he never has failed to provide me a great cleanup and prompt service. I highly recommend Tree Works.

They’ve been great to work with! I’ve had them do yearly fertilization on my oak with low iron and it’s been improving. They also did a fantastic job trimming several trees on my property and were very respectful while working around my surrounding plants.

Northern Colorado Tree Service arrived as scheduled. They were well staffed and equipped, and ground out the stumps of three large juniper shrubs before taking down a large spruce tree between my home and the neighbor's. They did a very good job of cleaning up all of the residue, and all of this in a little over an hour. James was very friendly and worked well with the crew. The cost was reasonable; I highly recommend them.

I had researched several of the tree service and arborist businesses in the Fort Collins area for a job I needed done. I contacted Northern Colorado Tree Service to cut back several branches to a blue spruce that had grown to the point where it was rubbing against my roof and gutters. Northern Colorado Tree Service provided me with a quote that was very reasonable. Once I signed the contract they sent out one of their crews that did a great job. They removed several branches that grew against my house and did so in a manner that did not butcher the tree; their work resulted in my tree still having curb-appeal with the pruning they did. They removed all branches in their truck. Very punctual and polite crew. I will use Northern Colorado Tree Service for additional work in the future.

James and his crew did a great job pruning a huge Cottonwood and Honey Locust tree. Paige climbed all the way up the Cottonwood tree (see picture attached) and took really good care of it, since I love that tree I really wanted it to be pruned well! The tree is as healthy as ever a couple months after the pruning.
In addition to the quality work, Jackie in the office is so helpful!

We LOVED working with Northern Colorado Tree Service. Would recommend to anyone. We requested quotes from multiple companies in town and NCTS were not only the first to respond but also had the most competitive pricing which led us to choose them. They answered all of our many questions quickly and had us scheduled within a week.
Day of they removed a huge pine tree in record time that had no roadway or large equipment access.
The yard was fully cleared and clean of any debris before lunch. Thank you!!

Everything about this experience was beyond expectations. The team quickly and efficiently inspected the property and provided a quote, along with answering all my questions. They were able to fit me into their schedule within a week of us accepting the quote. The trees were removed and pruned exactly to my expectations. Will definitely use them again in future projects.

Called Northern Colorado Tree Service to get multiple quotes for work in our yard. James was super nice, answered all my questions, helped me become more knowledgeable about the trees in our yard, provided guidance on how best to care for them, and even saved us money by giving honest feedback on which trees needed work and those that didn’t.

The quotes were very reasonable, his wife was a pleasure to deal with on the phone when scheduling the work, and the lead time for having the work done wasn’t bad.

In total we had 2 trees pruned, 2 trees removed w/ stumps ground, and over a dozen trees fertilized. All the work was done professionally and safely, and we are very happy with the services. We’ll definitely work with Northern Colorado Tree Service again in the future.

I had an extremely positive experience working with Northern Colorado Tree Service. I needed a large dead cottonwood tree removed from my yard. I submitted an estimate request and Jackie was quick to get back to me and get it scheduled. James was fast with providing the estimate and getting it scheduled. The team did a great job. We had Northern Colorado Tree Service remove a 120'+ Cottonwood and trim a very large Ash. We were very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.

They used a crane on the Cottonwood and finished it by 1 PM. The next day they trimmed the Ash in the same amount of time.

I was able to talk to the foreman about all the steps. He also filled me in on the reasoning behind why they did the things they did.

We are happy we chose them.
