These guys are awesome. Great personal service especially in winter when your “ freaking out” that your pipes will freeze. I highly recommend JB and Granby Heating for your needs in Grand County

Another great company in Grand County. These guys are always busy, even during the slow season. You will need to book your emergency at least two weeks in advance.

I hardly ever send out reviews, but JB at Granby Heating & Sheetmetal has gone way out of his way to help me with my boiler problem on Saturday evening. 5 STARS

J.B. went above and beyond for us on the weekend when we could not get the heat on. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, responsive, and kind the light the whole process. He got everything up and running and followed up to make sure it was still working the next day- we cannot thank him enough!!

I reached out over the weekend for an emergency situation where our heat and hot water were not working. JB was extremely helpful and was able to troubleshoot the issue remotely until being able to arrive in person and promptly fix the unit. Additionally, he went above and beyond with recommendations to avoid similar situations moving forward and provided guidance for us on a long-term maintenance plan to extend lifetime of the system. JB demonstrated his expertise and was communicative and professional throughout. I trust his judgement and his knowledge and look forward to continue working with him and the company in the future.

I had a complex gas fireplace issue and JB and his staff were so pleasant and helpful and they fixed our issue! This is a great, caring business owner. We’ll be using them every year to perform our gas fireplace and furnace maintenance. Thanks JB!!

I highly recommend Granby Heating! We had a furnace go bad in January and JB and his guys installed a new Lennox furnace in two days. Our home has 18 foot ceilings that made the living room rather cool and our finished basement was also not getting much heat either. They recommended a furnace with a large, quiet oscillating fan that would mix the warmer Areas with the cool ones, it worked! They know their stuff and understand a sense of urgency!

We needed an igniter for our furnace at 5 on a Saturday. They found the part and went above and beyond what I expected. Amazing business!!!

As new home owners in Grand County, it has been extremely tough to find HVAC/Plumbing availability. JB went out of his way to solve an emergent problem with our plumbing (calling a local company same day personally) despite no personal advantage to himself. Furthermore, he has worked selflessly to help find a resource for our specific boiler system needs in the area.
I would highly recommend his services!

My furnace failed, it was <10 degrees outside and my wife had COVID. I didn't want anyone coming into the house and getting exposed. JB and Scott walked me through every step to get the heat back on. These guys were great and have earned a lifetime customer and advocate!

It was the day after Thanksgiving and we got to our place in Winter Park and the heat was not working. No place would answer but John Becksmith did from Granby Heating and Sheet Metal! Answered on the 1st ring and was professional. Offered to help even though they don't do boilers and told him I would call back if we found no one. After no luck called to see if he had a referral and again answered on 1st ring even while in the middle of a job! The referral he gave was responsive! While we did not end up using John I would highly recommend him based on his responsiveness and willingness to help!! Hated I could not give him the business. Thanks!!!

Wanted to send a shout out to JB for his kindness when I called him on an early Sunday morning to ask about my furnace problem. He spend his personal time giving me multiple suggestions on how to get it running again. We were able to get the furnace working which was a relief on this cold Grand Lake morning. If JB can fix a furnace on the phone then imagine what he can do with a home visit. It's good to know there are people like JB who help people without asking for anything in return. A true professional.

I have been working with GHSM since they originally installed the heating system in my home 22 years ago. It's an extremely cold environment in the winter and sometimes emergencies happen. They have always been extremely responsive and fairly priced. It's rare to find such a quality organization, especially in a mountain community. I just called for some routine service and the owner JB answered the phone. He problem solved over the phone then arranged to send a service person today. I'm not one who usually takes the time to write reviews, but with numerous great service experiences I've had with this firm over the years, I felt it was only right.

We arrived to our cabin to find it a chilly 32 degrees- upon discovering the ignition switch was broken on our furnace - we called Granby Heating and Sheet Metal. We were sent a technician, Gary, in less than hour from our phone call. He knew immediately what the problem was and repaired the issue and restored much needed heat- grateful for their prompt response and knowledge

JB and Scott were great. My furnace went out, and I called JB on his cell phone and he walked me thru what to do. This was on a Sunday. They came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. Tuesday morning they fixed the furnace. Still have not seen the invoice for the work, but I have used them before, and they are always fair and reasonable. Don’t bother calling anyone else in Grand County for furnace problems, as this company is the best. Dr. John
