All reviews for Moonlight General Contracting

Frank is an excellent contractor who ensures your remodeling job is completed professionally and to the highest standard.

Moonlight Contracting, Frank Verk is the best contracting group I've ever worked with. Work is done with the highest quality and great communication. They legitimately care about doing the work the very right way, no skipping steps or cutting corners. You can count on them 100%

We bought a 25 year old house in Highlands Ranch in 2023. We have been doing a lot of renovation projects. Adding a 5th bedroom in the basement, painting several rooms, some new flooring, a complete remodel of the family room. Frank was hired for each job, his first job was a small job to get to know him, since he has been hired several times on the larger jobs. When I have another job in the future I will contact him.

This is the second big job we have had Frank and his team do. Our first was a basement to the concrete walls and it was done in three weeks, start to finish!
The second job was an office, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms…it’s like new! All new doors, and the bathrooms are right out of a magazine. Here’s what it is with Frank, one, he gives you an estimate on paper with each job broken down. No round numbers. Two, he gives you the option to pick the details of what’s going to be put in…IKEA? Or really upscale fixtures…your choice. He does not skip on quality, if it’s not right, he tears it out and re- installs. His dime. You can trust a review when I showed him an over site and it was redone. That’s a good contractor. He’s experienced and runs a clean job.

Working with Moonlight Construction was a blast! Frank had the patience of a saint as we changed our minds about 47 times designing the backyard and patio. He guided us through every wild idea with a smile (and probably some hidden eye rolls). Now, we’ve got the backyard of our dreams and Frank probably deserves a medal for putting up with us. Highly recommend!

We recommend Moonlight wholeheartedly for this type of project, can't speak to others. We had a relatively small wet bar project in the basement and contacted Moonlight General Contracting (Frank Verk is the owner and face of the business) for ideas, through Houzz. Since we weren't certain as to exactly what we wanted, Frank worked at our pace (and his) to complete this project over time and to our exact (and evolving) preferences. We appreciated his advice and directions as we selected materials and completed the work step by step. Our final result was exactly what we wanted and the cost was somewhat less than "big bang" proposals that wanted us to specify everything up front and complete the work in three or four days. It's clear that this firm fits small jobs in between Frank's larger construction projects. That's a great (and cost effective) approach to a small project. Highly recommended!

Frank at Moonlight General Contracting did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen. The entire process was easy and on time. Frank went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of.

Frank and his crews are great — We’ve hired them for a variety of projects, including tiling, fan replacements, and installing new lighting in a room. Their work has always been solid, and they are reliable when it comes to getting the job done. The team is professional and ensures everything is functioning properly before they leave. We’ve been happy with the results and would definitely consider using them again future proj!

A friend of ours recommended Frank to us. We contracted with him to replace the fluorescent lights in our kitchen with recessed lighting (capable of LED) and to remodel the entertainment center in the family room. We were happy with the work and contracted him, this fall, to do a major first floor remodel. Again, we’re happy with the work. Frank is very proactive, easy to work with, has great ideas, and above all honest. Highly recommend Frank.

Moonlight General Contracting is a great Company. I have never ended a major build or remodel in the past with a contractor I would use again. I have used Frank and his crew more than once and wouldn’t hesitate to call him again. Frank is a very knowledgeable and professional contractor at fair prices.

Frank and his team are absolute professionals! Their work is consistent and timely! He is super reliable. We couldn’t be happier with our finished product!

Frank did an awesome job with my master bathroom remodel. Easy to work with and got the job done. Will be using his services for other projects on my house as they come up.

Frank and his team removed our deck, repaired damage to the house from years of rot, and built us a wonderful new outdoor space. We looked at other deck builders, but Frank's professionalism and prompt responses led us to choose him, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He helped us through the approval processes with the HOA and county, and provided all the documents and drawings we needed. The final result was perfect.

It's hard to capture in pictures all the work Frank and his team have done in our home. The first project was to tear out a basement built out of code by a previous owner, and rebuild it to code. Needless to say, many other contractors declined getting involved, but Frank provided a thorough quote of what would be done at each point of uncertainty through the discovery process of demolition.

Based on his incredible results in our basement, we had him replace every light fixture in the home. This involved separating one fixture into multiple end points, and changing externally mounted lights for recessed lighting. The drywall work is flawless and blends into existing texture.

We reached out to Frank again for tiling the chimney stack in our living room, which brought a lot of 'WOW' to the home. The tile was expertly installed, level, seamless, and well finished.

Frank left the jobs completed and clean. 10/10 will call Frank again for projects in the future.

Awesome Company. Frank is very organized. Provided a schedule that was followed. Communicated any issues.
Completed new deck. Love it. See pictures.
Also used for basement remodel due to flooding.
Will use again and highly recommend

I've worked with Frank on two projects- a sizable deck, and an interior french door build. I was impressed with Frank's communication and follow through. If he says he will do something, it will happen. His ideas were useful, welcome, and always made sense. I'll be using Frank for our next project!

Frank and his team did an incredible job. They finished ahead of schedule so everything was wrapped up before the holidays, which we really appreciated. This was a large project that included both an outdoor and indoor movie theater with a lot of custom work, and they absolutely nailed it. We’re already looking forward to working with them again on our next project.

Frank Verk and his teams made a 'life altering' transformation to our kitchen and stair railings. As an unprepared decorator, Frank was patient with me and offered ideas. He discovered and fixed a plumbing issue in the kitchen that had been there for years - YIKES!! This has made such a difference in the taste of our water and pressure. Thank you for all your guidance and great work. WE LOVE IT!!!!

We recently had our deck completely redone by Frank and his team, and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! After reaching out to several contractors, Frank was the first to truly assess our needs. He recommended replacing the entire deck instead of just adding new boards to the existing structure, which was a smart move given the condition of the 20-year-old wood.To our surprise, the cost to replace the whole deck was actually less than the first bid we received, to just replace the decking and a few support beams.

During the project, we discovered that the original posts weren’t set properly in concrete, which was a concern. However, Frank and his team handled it seamlessly, making quick adjustments with minimal impact to the timeline or budget.

The crew was fantastic—fast, efficient, and they always left the site spotless at the end of the day. From tearing down the old deck to reframing and pouring new concrete for the posts, they completed the project in under two weeks! Frank kept us updated every step of the way, from the initial bid to the final walk-through.

Couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Frank and his team for any decking needs!

Highly Recommended!
We just moved to highlands ranch a few months ago and thankfully found Frank through a real estate agent referral. He transformed a home office space for us. After a few initial visits to plan the project, Frank and his team knocked out the whole new office in only 8 days! Demolition, new room layout, flooring replacement, new walls, doors, drywall, mud, and paint in just over a week. We were very impressed with the drywall/paint work blending into the rest of the original walls being that they were textured 20 years ago. All of his team were professional and polite. We will soon be contacting Moonlight Construction to come back and finish our basement.
Thanks Frank and Team!

Frank at Moonlight Construction did a great job on our home renovation. From flooring to living room and master bath. Reasonably priced for the amount of work performed. Very happy with the results
