We had a HUGE project in Idledale. 10 + trees (Elms) removed that were at least 70 ft tall. Tom and his crew showed up on time, did AMAZING work and got the job done! We could not have asked for a better team to handle this quite overwhelming project. Thank you Tom!!!

Tom (Sasquatch) and Mike just finished two days of hard work cutting some big trees and pruning others so we can get our Jeffco fire mitigation certificate for our home renovation. They are very nice, thorough and safe.

Tom Purves and his crew did an excellent job removing trees and trimming the rest for fire mitigation. They were on time and cleaned up all the tree debris, including branches and sticks they didn't drop. You can't tell they were in my yard for two days. Tom is very personable. He did exactly what we agreed to in his estimate, and I paid exactly what his estimate totaled, which was the best price of three estimates I received. Highly recommend.

Mountain Family Tree came out to our house for a cat rescue 50ft up a tree. Tom came out within a couple of hours of my call and got her down so quickly! We are so grateful to these guys for saving our cat and their awesome attitudes.

Tom and his team did an excellent job clearing a tree that dropped onto our house from the strong winds we’ve had. They were able to come out promptly and dropped the tree away from the house where it wouldn’t cause any further damage.

We had three of our trees in Kittredge quickly turn brown and Tom confirmed our worry of mountain pine beetle, an alarming occurrence! The Mountain Family Tree team took the trees down using various skilled tactics due to the varying difficulty each tree posed. Rather than have them haul the trees away, which is an option, they stacked the logs nicely and covered them at my request, sealing in the beetles until they perish throughout the winter. I’m a carpenter and need the wood for project material, and I love those trees and wish to pay them homage.
Also, Tom provides preventative services for the other trees, not spraying chemicals but trunk injections or pheromone deterrents which is what we chose.
Ultimately, they showed up when they said, did the work, cleaned up exceptionally well virtually no trace, were conscientious, informative, and friendly.
