They did a great job! The worker bees were on time and courteous. Having an uber controlling HOA, I was worried about the mess left. They cleaned the street and sidewalk up like they were never there!

The Grey Rock team did an excellent job of transforming my weedscape into something beautiful and low maintenance. They discussed options that allowed me to stay within my budget, and went above and beyond while on site working quickly and giving me a better yard than I expected. Before and afters shown.

We had a great experience working with Dakota and Thomas from Grey Rock for a pretty large back yard project that involved stamped concrete patio and walkway, pergola installation, and sod replacement. I really appreciate their transparency and professionalism, and we're looking forward to working with them on another landscaping project this spring.

Grey Rock installed a complete xeriscape overhaul on our side yard which was formally turf. They emphasized the use of native plants, along with a beautiful design that worked for our space. They were patient and responsive with all of our questions, and really made sure that we were satisfied and confident with the finished project. They even checked in with us the following growing season to make sure all the plants had survived the winter.

Part of our project included a corner that has a city traffic light. When the city had to replace the traffic light, Grey Rock worked directly with us and the city to ensure that the landscaping was done beautifully and maintained to the standards of the original project.

Not only is Grey Rock professional and realiable, but friendly as well. We could tell that they understand the importance of the community and environment. We felt valued and thoughtfully cared for throughout our entire experience with them.

We experienced a sprinkler system issue last week, and Justin from Gray Rock came to fix it. Justin is a true professional, a great communicator, and got us up and running again. He cleaned up the area and reset the housing box, and the area looks great. Thank you, Justin, for the hard work!

Can't recommend these guys enough! We contracted Grey Rock for a pretty simple drainage improvement project. For reasons unrelated to them, the project turned into a drawn out hairball. They stuck with us and helped us navigate the planning situation we ran into.

Our on-site project manager Thomas was fantastic to work with. He was so professional, punctual and friendly we didn't feel the need to hover over him and his crew.

We hired Grey Rock to install a French drain to resolve basement flooding during heavy rains, and to replace a sunken concrete patio. They were very professional and polite. The project manager communicated often with us and they were always eager to explain options and to give reasons for their recommendations. Since the concrete was poured in the cold weather, it needed to be covered up every night for about a week. Each morning, someone was here to expose the concrete to the air, and then each evening someone came back to cover it up to protect it from negative temps. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs and their work was exceptional!!

Grey Rock Landscape worked on the new landscape for our backyard last May and we couldn’t be happier. During the initial meeting with Dakota, we discussed our ideas and he made some suggestions based on his experience and that left us confident that they could perform the work. The communication with him and his construction team was fantastic as they kept us informed throughout the project. The entire team was extremely pleasant, polite, and positive during the demolition and construction of the new flagstone patio, pea gravel area for a future xeriscape, chipped stone walkway, sod, sprinklers, and edging. Even when we had them follow-up on a few minor cosmetic issues, they returned with the same smile and pleasant attitude, happy to make sure we were satisfied. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Grey Rock Landscape.

Grey Rock replaced two decaying timber retaining walls along
concrete steps from the backyard patio to an exterior basement door. The owner, Dakota, came to our house to talk with us about our plans. He examined the existing walls and surrounding area, provided options for replacing them, and quickly submitted a written quote for doing the work. The crew that came to do the work was excellent. The job leader, Becket,was constantly communicating with us about the job status and construction details. They built the walls and provided the drainage features exactly as the job was bid. Everyone on the crew was friendly, polite and respectful. They did all the work during a very damp, cold period in February. Becket even came back later after the weather improved to do extra clean-up and make some minor repairs. We were very satisfied with Grey Rock.

Dakota and his team are very responsive to meet client needs. They did a fabulous job building 2 pergolas in our backyard!

I was very satisfied with the work of everyone at Grey Rock, throughout the whole process of redoing my backyard. It was very easy to work with them on the design, they had great suggestions and answered all my questions. The construction work was smooth, they kept me in the loop of everything. The folks at Grey Rock were a pleasure to work with on our patio expansion. Dakota and Mohammed had very good design ideas and the build crew headed by Thomas were excellent. Unbelievably wonderful company to work with. Every single person we interacted with, from the owner to each and every person working on the job, was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Check-ins, videos, conversations, emails—all transparent and fluid.
Finished product was outstanding! Professional and done super quickly, even though we added an extra side project on at the last minute! If I could give them six or seven stars, I would.
We will be using Grey Rock with every project.
