We switched to Designs by Sundown for our landscaping last year after watching how great a job they've done on our neighbor's property. Otto and his crew have been wonderful to work with and our property looks great.

OMG. This company s perfect. My project was a little complicated.. involved concrete retaining walls which required engineering and required lots of both manual and equipment labor. Everyone was polite, efficient, and communicated well. I couldn't be happier. HIGHLY recommend them.

This is the third iteration of lawn design by DBS. Each project outdoes the previous one. Our exterior is the showcase of the neighborhood. A special shout out to Whit, the irrigation specialist who has managed to right a very complex system and correct any problems. Thanks also to designer Grant Davis and Project Manager, Rob Ellis for efficient, beautiful work.

We have been using DBS for our yard services for the past several years and are consistently satisfied. Taylor B maintains our sprinkler system. His knowledge and expertise has improved the health and appearance of our entire grass and flower bed areas. Simple adjustments have corrected brown grass areas and our flower beds look better than ever even in this heat! We also have Macario’s yard maintenance crew tend to our yard. Macario is an effective leader, hard worker and he and his crew always get the job done.

Designs By Sundown finished our home project last fall on a new build. We couldn't be happier with how all their creative ideas and our vision came together perfectly. We are now enjoying our yard through our first spring and summer and it looks even more amazing. We do, and will continue to recommend DBS as the best landscape design and maintenance group in Colorado. Keven Winkelman and Jeromy Montano were fantastic in the creative process and Reggie Coats was outstanding in implementing the plan with his team. Zach Kiser and his maintenance team have done a wonderful job keeping our property in great shape and looking beautiful throughout the year. Can't recommend DBS enough.

Wit, from Designs by Sundown, has done great work at our house. I had some really complex sprinkler system leaks and he did a great job finding and fixing the problems. In general, Designs by Sundown have done great work for us at our house

Rich came to repair a section of landscape lighting that wasn't working. He went above and beyond. It was obvious he was there to do an excellent job.
He took the time to consider all of the options for a more permanent, fail-proof, and proper solution. He discussed the pros/cons of each option with me. We had decided on an option and then 5 minutes later he told me he came up with a more financially friendly option that was worth trying (which we did). He was upfront and told me this option might not work and it was going to be hard to bury the wires to keep them protected from being inadvertently cut by the lawn crew , but it was worth a try and he would do his best. After he left, I checked out the area and even though I knew the wires were there, I couldn't see a shred of evidence they were there. It was impressive how well he was able to bury and protect the wires. He was all about attention to detail and doing a thorough and high quality job.

He tested the lights throughout the entire yard even though I never asked or expected him to do that. He noticed smaller issues that I was going to ask him about and he had already made mental notes about them. He was respectful and clearly took pride in his work. He was honest and excellent with his communication. I had many questions and he didn't rush me and most impressively, he actually listened to me. He gave thoughtful and helpful answers to my questions. He educated me on many topics. He was fully present and wasn't distracted and in a rush to leave.

He was able to balance being friendly, approachable, respectful, and patient with being diligent and getting the job done in an efficient manner. That is a rare talent as many people are either all business and come across as disinterested and rude or they swing the other way and procrastinate, dawdle, get off topic with small talk/chit-chat, and waste time.

Rich was a professional through and through. He was refreshing to work with in this day and age when so many people are slackers with no work ethic and/or poorly educated/trained. Thank you Rich.

We had a large oak tree in one of our front beds that was dying and needed to be removed. Consequently, we needed to relandscape that bed. Designs by Sundown, and specifically our Rep, Gabrielle Reyes, came up with a design and installed new landscaping that we are absolutely thrilled with and have received many compliments on. Thank you to the whole crew who helped to make our yard so beautiful.

Designs by Sundown created a beautiful and innovative landscape which provides gracious living spaces, a unique garden and a novel fountain - all of which blend beautifully into our native Colorado surroundings. Multiple landscaping teams were well coordinated to implement it's design, construction and maintenance. We are now enjoying a beautiful, shady yard and a flourishing garden. We used DBS both for our landscape design and now our maintenance. I find everyone to be very responsive to our needs and friendly. If we ever have any requests outside of our normally scheduled maintenance, they can usually get to it within a few days. Would recommend!

Worked with Anthony E to address some irrigation issues we have been having. He truly went above and beyond to get the issues figured out and valves repaired or replaced to get us back up and going again. He double checked that everything was done to our satisfaction and the system is working great. Very happy!

The staff at DBS are really terrific!!! Ben was at my house today and worked diligently all afternoon. I noticed how he paid attention to all the little details today. He even noticed my welcome mat wasn’t on my porch properly and straightened it before he left. Ben is a great employee. Sure thankful for him today. Thanks!

We asked DBS to create a new drought-tolerant backyard for us this spring with walkways, gardens and no grass. During every aspect of our project, we were constantly impressed with the skill, dedication and creativity of everyone on the DBS staff that we came in contact with. Thanks so much Jay, Jordan, Horacio and Whitcomb for doing such a terrific job with our yard. Even after the completion of the project, the excellent service has continued. I recently texted Jordan that an irrigation hose needed an adjustment and an hour later Whitcomb showed up to make the repair. Really impressive!

Manicured grounds, sculptures and waterfall feature. Bocce ball court and entertainment spaces. This venue has a convenient outdoor bar and covered seating area for gathering/socializing.

I have been using DBS for several years. Expensive, but well worth it if you can afford it and want a great looking yard. My grass has never looked better under the care of Damon - weed free and green

There are tons of landscape design companies in Denver but Designs by Sundown is by far the best. They are a comprehensive, white glove end to end service that goes well beyond the implementation phase of your project. Their work is high quality and thoughtful. I would highly recommend working with Jay Touchstone and Designs by Sundown for your next landscape project!
