I am writing a review because when I went to look up their number online, today, I was surprised to see only one review --
a negative one from 8 years ago! -- as the only review for this longtime local business. We have used Avon Plumbing for the past eight years and have only had good experiences with them.

So, this review is way overdue, to say the least! I came across Barry and his team when my heat recovery tank (hot water) began to fail. After learning through some detailed research that the tank was eligible for warranty replacement, my saga began. Because of Covid, the company that installed it (and continues to service my furnace and supply my oil) wasn’t taking on any field work. I went on a long search for a contractor who could work with the appropriate dealer network, but no luck. Then, my oil guys suggested Barry. With no idea who he was, and no prior working relationship, I called. Barry responded promptly, and though this was a bit out of his lane, he jumped right in, found the right dealers, and made it happen. It was a tedious process, but Barry kept at it, made the calls, and got everything worked out. He was always responsive when I had questions, and when we finally were able to get the tank replaced, he and Ted did fantastic work! Their plumbing was outstanding, and they even left the job site looking completely clean and ready for use. And, because of some financial weirdness from the factory, Barry hung with me as we got that worked out (after he’d gotten paid!). In the end, everything came together just like he said it would, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. One benefit to such long delay in posting this is that I can say that things are still working just as well as they did when he completed the install back in March! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough!!

I originally chose Avon Plumbing because of their proximity to my home. After working with them I would highly recommend them. I worked with multiple people from the company and they were all kind, understanding, and easy to work with. The work was professional and done efficiently. I will definitely work with them again

Stopped by here attempting to find a replacement for an obscure faucet part with no brand or model number on it. The two guys at the parts counter went absolutely above and beyond to help us find a suitable substitute, which ended up working fantastic! Incredibly grateful to both of them for taking the time and effort to help us

We always had a good experience when using Avon Plumbing for items ranging from repairs to remodeling projects. Fair prices and excellent workmanship. Staff is always courteous and helpful, with good ideas and suggestions.

Avon Plumbing and the plumber did a terrific job in helping us quickly select and replace our very old toilet that had suddenly failed this morning. Within an hour of my calling, the plumber arrived, saw the extent of damage and helped us pick out a new toilet. Avon Plumbing sent a new toilet and it was installed quickly.

We just had our main bathroom completely renovated by Avon Plumbing and we could not be happier with the result. They did the entire job for us, starting with the design and selection of fixtures all the way through demolition to the studs and rebuilding from the floor up. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and very competent, not only the people from Avon plumbing, but all the contractors that they used for the various stages of the project. Just as important, they showed respect for us and for our property by being careful not to damage anything during all the demolition and construction. We wanted to give a special shoutout to Sheree for the design help, Stacy for keeping things on schedule, and to James for seeing that everything was done to our satisfaction. We really appreciate you all!

6/29/2024 - I wanted to add that we were very pleased with the help that Avon Plumbing gave us with the plumbing issue that we had last week. It was not a big job, but we had to coordinate with the water company to turn the water off before the plumber could help us. Camma did a great job of scheduling things so that we were not without water for very long. Thank you again!
