Jeff and Modern Comfort Mechanical finished the install of our new Heat Pump and Air Exchanger at the end of March. Starting back with the bidding and through each phase of the project, the attention given to us was second to none. Even Enfield's Building Inspector remarked how "clean the work" was during his final sign off! With Modern's service and maintenance going forward, we hope to have many years of good performance with the new equipment.

Jeff was very professional; always on time and thorough when explaining what was being done on what days he was there and made sure to always have everything picked up when leaving for the day. He was really patient with my 200 questions as he was installing the system and when it was complete.

Jeff was amazing from the start, got us a very detailed quote on two different brand named hvac systems and broke down 2 different project costs for us (doing only downstairs and doing whole house) all in a timely manner even adding in the rebates we would receive for switching to a more energy efficient system. You could tell how knowledgeable he was on these systems. We got ductless air conditioning/heat pumps installed in our whole house and I was worried about having tubing all over the exterior of our house but he did it in a way where that wasn’t the case. After the system was installed he explained how to use everything properly. I would highly recommend using Modern Comfort Mechanical for any hvac needs!

MCM did an awesome job on our mini split unit with 3 heads, they worked with us on our options to route the lines for the best results aesthetically. Jeff was on time and neat every visit and his quality of work was what any homeowner would hope for. So far the Daiken unit heat pump has kept our entire 4 bedroom colonial comfortable, and we’ve seen single digit nights and daytime temps in the teens! Jeff also helped us with all of the paperwork for financing and energy rebates from the state and Eversource. He is very knowledgeable in the product, installation, and financials making the process much easier. I would definitely recommend MCM to anyone looking for HVAC services.

Jeff was knowledgeable and very thorough when walking us through the process of putting in ductless AC units in our home. The installation went smoothly and we love the units. Jeff was absolutely fabulous, especially during 90 degree temps and having to go into attic spaces. He was neat, informative through the whole process and treated our home like it was his own. We are super pleased with the outcome and enjoying our new system. If you are interested in a mini split system, we HIGHLY recommend you call Jeff!

Modern Comfort Mechanical was absolutely phenomenal - we obtained quite a few estimates for a pretty large HVAC overhaul for our house and felt infinitely more comfortable working with Jeff than the other major local firms that we consulted with. His communication was fantastic - he took ample time to answer all the nitty-gritty detailed questions that I had for him during his initial visit as well as afterward when we began planning the project. He was perfectly punctual and reliable - every aspect of the job was clearly written out ahead of time and performed exactly to expectations and on-time - truly artisan professional work.

He's saved us at least 50% off our monthly electrical bill since installation was completed and even went so far as to submit for a rebate for us with Eversource to get us more money back on the deal. We're so happy that we'll never again have to look for an HVAC professional - any of our future needs are going to be handled by Modern Comfort Mechanical.
