I’ve been a building contractor since 1988. Since I’ve been in business I’ve worked with a lot of plumbers and Pickwick has been probably one of the most professional. They pay attention to detail and they’re very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who needs plumbing services. They’ve always been the most reliable when it comes to a plumbing emergency.

This company is the best. I had an emergency at 6am when my water heater burst. We had water and flooding throughout the house. I called Pickwick and they came right away.
Stayed and helped get everything under control. Mike was the best. He worked nonstop to get our home back to normal. He knew exactly what to do and was so kind. He came back later to do a few more things and check on us. This is as good as it gets. So grateful to them.

So glad I now have a plumbing company I can trust. I have a multifamily home built in 1925 that has all sorts of plumbing systems, including old radiators, baseboards, old fixtures, new fixtures, old lines and new pex. Also gas lines throughout for the boiler and stoves. I've had to use them for small jobs recently, and more importantly, emergency service when I had a gas leak last night. They responded immediately and worked till 1am on a Sunday to get it fixed. Important because we needed heat as it was 25 degrees outside. They even knew the workers at the gas company so they could coordinate efforts.

Also, they stick their appointments, give notifications when the plumber is on the way and when work is completed. Also pleasant to talk to and very professional. And the billing is honest. Such peace of mind knowing I have a great plumber on call and nearby!

The technician could not be nicer!!! He went right to work, listened to me, included me in his evaluation. He volunteered to help clean up, which I was greatful for, and while doing so located the bigger issue. He would not have found that if he wasn’t helping clean up! (It was related to the furnace nearby, not a plumbing problem). So ultimately he solved our issue beyond plumbing! The response to my call was great. Impressed all around. Thank you!

Update to my prior review: We needed to replace our hot water heater and had the Pickwick team do the work since they'd saved us a few months ago when our sump pump died. The process was seamless - I booked a quote appointment online and Mike showed up 2 days later to discuss scope of work. Within a week we had our new unit installed - the team was in and out in 2 hours. Their team's customer service is fantastic and prices are competitive - highly communicative and knowledgeable technical team that helps you understand what is a "must have" and a "nice to have" without charging an arm and a leg. I won't be using any other company for plumbing needs.

Prior review: Absolute lifesavers - called Sunday night at 630PM because our sump pump died. Mike and Joe arrived promptly and by 730PM we had an operable sump pump making sure our basement didn’t flood. Would highly recommend and will be using this team for all future plumbing needs.

I was able to get an appointment within one day for a non-emergency issue but nonetheless explained that another service provider would not be able to continue their work until a plumber fixed a problem.

Joe and Raphael did a great job of repairing the problem efficiently and effectively.

I can’t say enough great things about Pickwick Plumbing. Mike and Joe came before a snow storm early on a Sunday morning, which is impressive in itself, and quickly resolved a major issue with my boiler after I had just moved into a new home. They finished the job within an hour, and also took the time to educate me on how my system works, which was incredibly helpful as a new homeowner. Glad we have a found a reliable plumbing company in town. I would highly recommend Pickwick Plumbing to anyone in need.

Joe came in the midst of the frozen pipe crisis a week ago to repair 3 different pipe sections in my daughter’s house. He sealed off the leaking valves and returned in a few days after the freeze chaos to finish the job. Awesome guy. Great service. My second experience with him and is my go to company.

Mike and his partner were thorough and reasonable. They even videotaped proof that my water valves are correctly in place and working where my co-op association insists I must change them. I could not be more grateful for their consultation, professionalism and upbeat attitude in my home.

Our heat stopped working over the weekend. We gave Pickwick a call. Upon hearing we had no heat, Mike talked through some things that could be wrong so we could check those first. I really appreciated how caring he was about our situation. We needed a specific part which no one could get until Monday but I was able to get the appointment lined up over the weekend. Mike stayed in touch to let us know when our plumber would arrive. Spike was professional, efficient, and did a great job overall. Within hours, the heat was back to normal. The pricing was fair as well (we had been quoted a couple hundred more at another place). We'll definitely call Pickwick again when we need assistance.

We got someone to our house within 1 hour of calling on a Friday night and they were able to diagnose the problem and return with a fix in the morning.

Toilet was running continuously. Joe came the same day and fixed it. Then he found an associated major problem which needed urgently attention. He came back as soon as parts were available and fixed that too. We appreciate his professionalism and quick response. We highly recommend Pickwick Plumbing.
