Just wanted to thank Phil and April at Newington Electric for helping us out this past Tuesday morning.
Power went out on my elderly mother's home and her generator kicked on as usual. When power was restored to the grid, the generator turned off, but no electricity to the home. EverSourse came and determined the house had power going to it and the issue was with the transfer switch.
Called the Emergency number, which directed us to the team at Newington Electric. April directed me how to turn on the generator manually, so Mom could have power until the tech arrived. Phil personally came out and determined a small issue with the switch and mom was back on the grid in a few minutes.
All these events took place between 4 and 6am, mind you!
I'm so glad we had them install and commision mom's generator. Top notch people, who actually care for their customers!

Newington Electric did an excellent job communicating with me prior to their visit. The electrician seemed to do a very nice job, was friendly and professional, left the place clean and the final bill was slightly under the estimate we were provided with.

Very pleased with all their services. Completely rewired and brought up to code our obsolete kitchen (2 yrs ago); and last month upgraded our service to 200amp and installed a EV charger. Very professional. (And some years ago also installed a gas generator ... also well done).

We used Newington Electric for a same-day emergency service. They were extremely accommodating, reasonably priced (Aiello quoted us $1,800 for a job they completed for under $300), transparent with their pricing (Aiello refused to give a quote over the phone unless escalated to a manager), and got here hours earlier than what they originally quoted. Phil was very pleasant on the phone and very responsive too. All in all a wonderful experience – will be going back to Newington Electric for any and all future needs! Thank you for making a very expensive day more palatable!
