Lights on our back deck stopped working yesterday and weren't sure why, also had another light back there that hadn't worked in years. We always turn the lights on out there at night when our dogs go outside. Called Codan Electric this morning and Cody was able to squeeze us in today. Found and fixed the issues. Now our dogs can safely go out at night. Much appreciated! Highly recommend them!

While looking for an electrician to do some work around our house, we stumbled across Codan Electric. They got back to my inquiry within minutes and we had an appointment set for that week. This father and son team is professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. The best thing being that they're local! No job is too big or too small and we are very pleased with all the work they've done.

Hired Dan and Cody to do a bunch of electrical switches and outlets, they were done in a flash and were very detailed in all explanations to my questions. Will be having them come back and do a new ceiling fan install and lighting around the house. I highly recommend Dan and Cody to all out there you will not be disappointed.

We had an emergency electrical problem during a storm in December. We called Codan Electric after hours to see if they could help us. To our surprise, Dan answered the phone and said they would come first thing in the morning. As stated, they arrived early the next morning and did a thorough assessment of the problem. They explained the problem to us clearly, and also explained what work would need to be done to resolve the problem. They said that they would provide a cost estimate for the repair by the end of the day and before they left, they proceeded to make it safe for us to turn our power back on. By the end of the day we received a written cost estimate. It seemed fair and reasonable, and we agreed to have them do the work, and set a date for the work to be done. On the date agreed upon, they arrived on time, having already gotten the necessary permits and coordination with Eversource. Their work was extremely neat and organized. In addition to the repair, we opted to have a generator transfer switch installed. Once installed, Cody explained in detail how to safely use the switch during an outage. We are extremely happy with Codan Electric’s professionalism, promptness, expertise, cleanliness and great communication. Should we have any future needs for an electrician, we would definitely want them to do the work. We highly recommend Codan Electric!

We had a major summer storm, part of a hurricane, and our generator wouldn’t start. We had an electrician come out, he couldn’t fix it (it needed to go in for repairs), so we borrowed a generator from a friend, and that wouldn’t work either, and the same electrician knew what the problem was but said he couldn’t fix it. We called Codan Electric and Dan came out within a half hour and figured out a way to temporarily bypass the issue so the generator would work. Less than 24 hours later, that generator stopped working. I called Dan again and within a very short time he found a generator for us to rent, brought it over and hooked it up. Since we have well water, which requires an electrical pump, and a horse farm, this was an absolute necessity for us. Three more issues later, 3 more times Dan responded extremely quickly. We cannot say enough good things about Dan and his son Cody from Codan Electric. They are true life savers and wonderful people to boot. I’m not used to being able to get help so quickly, so consistently, and despite so many odds. My family and I are so incredibly grateful we found our new electricians!

I highly recommend Codan Electric. The estimate was done by the owner and he stayed right on target.
My electrical meter box on the outside of my house was hit by a car. Cody came out that day of the accident and was professional and helpful.
Any homeowner choosing to work with them will be very pleased and extremely satisfied.
Looking forward to working with you in the future.

Quality work by knowledgeable electricians. Dan and Cody don't just run wire, they think about electric code and what the customer wants and needs. The one job I did not use Codan for in the last 5 years, I ended up having them come in and correct. Over the last 3 years, Codan replaced our overloaded breaker box and subpanels, balancing the loads to remedy frequent breaker trips, ran a new circuit and installed lights and electric sockets for a new workshop, and installed new advanced lighting fixtures with remote control.

I love Codan Electric! Cody is the first contractor I've come across who has consistently earned five stars across the board. He's professional, knowledgeable, efficient, honest, and personable. Highly recommended!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Codan Electric. I was extremely impressed with their knowledge, how efficiently they worked, and their problem solving ability while they worked at my home.

Do yourself a favor and give Codan a call. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Best electrician in the area, hands down.

I was quoted a high price for replacing a fan by another electrician. I asked a local group on Facebook for recommendations and Codan was recommended. Cody contacted me and discussed what I wanted done. He actually came the same day and did the work! Very professional - did a great job. I would highly recommend!

Cody and his father Dan are an extremely reliable source for any electric related needs. From start to finish they communicate with the customer, thoroughly explain what needs to be done, safely complete the job all in a responsive, timely manner. I have relied on them for installing recess lighting, wiring my generator and cleaning up service drops. On top of having experience and knowledge they are both great people and care about their customers. Will be using them for their expertise in future projects.

We used Codan Electric to reattach our power lines after they were ripped off the house by a falling tree. They came out within an hour to take a look and give us a price. They came back out the next day and in a matter of a couple hours had everything back up and running. The technician Cody was very knowledgeable and did outstanding work. Will definitely use again for any electrical projects.

My wife and I bought three LED light fixtures for the outside of our home. One motion sensor flood light, one front porch light and one back deck light. I called Codan electric and they were able to fit us in within 3 days. Cody showed up right on time, installed and wired up all 3 light fixtures in an hour. We also had the pleasure of meeting Cody’s dog he brought along in his work van, Lou! Highly recommend Codan electric, we will definitely be calling them for their services again.

Hired Codan Electric to replace lights in our attached garage. Cody did a fantastic job with the installation. Great to have a local electrician you can count on...great service, price, response etc. could not ask for better service. Put their business card in our business card file for future electrical work.

We had a great experience using Codan Electric today to install a wall socket at our facility. They were easy to get a hold of and prompt to schedule the job. The electrician was easy to talk to and knowledgeable on what needed to be done. We're hoping to call upon them for some other work we have planned in the near future. I recommend Codan Electric.

I was in need of some electrical work and Codan came highly recommended. They did not disappoint. Cody was punctual, knowledgable, and performed all tasks required with professionalism. He was honest throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend this company, and Cody, to anyone in need of electrical work.

Had a small job with some rooms that had outlet issues. Cody was able to get them fixed up in short order. Friendly & professional, I will definitely use CODAN for my electrician needs in the future!

I own Spacefitters and we use Cody at Codan as our electrician for all our Commercial Electrical needs. His response time to emergency calls is prompt and his work is top notch. Absolutely recommend using them!!!

We cannot say enough great things about Codan Electric! Cody installed all new lighting in our living room, taking it from dark and dingy to bright and beautiful. They also hid all of our unsightly tv and cable wiring. The price was great and the quality of work was superior. Thanks again!

Great work and excellent communication. I had some cameras replaced on the exterior of my house. Cody did a great job with the replacement as well as making sure everything was sealed up to prevent water damage. He arrived right on time in the morning and was professional. I called for the appointment one afternoon and he was out the next morning, can't ask for more than that!

What a great father and son team and their quality of work is fantastic. If you want a company that will call you back and pays special attention to detail give Codan a call you won’t be disappointed. They kept in touch with me the whole time, explained the whole process very well and showed up when they said they would. Their work is top notch and very clean. Thanks Dan and Cody for a great job..Steve S
