Robert and team built me a beautiful pool! Just what I wanted only better because of the things I didn't even know I wanted until they suggested them. So happy!

We had a time crunch due to a planned trip and the crew did everything they promised and on time. We had 2 small rust spots after a few weeks and they took care of it, also as promised. I would recommend this company for pool resurfacing for sure.

Elite Pool Designs of Gibsonton Florida deserves far more than the five star review we gave them when they built our pool more than a year ago. We were extremely pleased with the entire process, effective communication and follow up during the original installation. Unlike many of neighbors that installed pools when we did we have had no issues with the installation or equipment. Communication is a breeze with them and they are extremely responsive. We highly recommend them for pool design and installation.

Like most homeowners I spent hours researching pool installation companies. I am so thankful I decided to use Elite Pool Designs. The owner Robert promised me they would build our dream pool to perfection and he did not fall short of that promise. Additionally, every employee was a pleasure to work with and kept in constant communication throughout the project. I would highly recommend Elite Pool Designs for any pool or spa project, you will not be disappointed!!

Starting such a huge project as installing a pool can be troubling, given the risks of hiring a shady/undependable company to do the work and the horror stories you hear. Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work.

We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool".

After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure.

Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool!

For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

Robert and his team do a great job the cleanest job site I've ever seen great communication sticks to the construction schedule I built other pools in the past and Robert and elite pool team blows everybody away the most honest punctual and the best service that I've ever had thank you elite pools and Robert for transforming my backyard

Elite Pools was fantastic to work with, we met with Joyce and she designed the perfect pool to fit our needs. The owner(Robert) spoke with us gave us a rough timeline and from start to finish they got to work and got it done! We were nervous because we heard so many nightmares about pool companies, but once we met with them we were no longer felt that way. Any issues that may have come up along the way and even after our pool was installed they were right there! I highly recommend Elite Pools to anyone looking for a new pool installed or pool repairs. You will not go wrong using this company. Robert was there the day the pool started and has even come by to check our equipment and make sure we were happy with everything.

We had a great experience with Elite Pool Designs! Robert and the entire team who worked on our project were great to work with! They listened to what we had envisioned for our back yard and designed it perfectly! Robert was involved every step of the way! When we had questions, and we had a lot of them, they got back to us quickly! Definitely recommend Elite Pool Designs!

I’m the one that had a disastrous experience that everyone reads about the horror stories. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. One after the other.

-I had 6 months delay from Latham for one excuse after another. Not elite pool’s fault.
-I had hole dug but then Latham claimed pool shell got damaged during shipping with no evidence.
-I had another hole dug and then hurricane came and washed it all out. Had to be filled and re dug.
- I had another delay from Latham
- I had shell in the ground and out of level. Didn’t catch that until pool filled with water.
- I had everything finished and then a plumbing leak from ground settling causing major leak.
- I had another leak on returns.
- I had pavers settling from the plumbing leaks due to ground settling.
-I had leaking light from ground settling
- I had pump issues
- I had filter issues
- I also had tiles coming off in the spa

This is over the course of 1 year.

Yes I’m leaving a 5 star review. Here is why:

When everything goes well, you pay for it and it’s done. It’s when something goes wrong (or everything in my case ), it’s what tells you about the quality of a person you’re dealing with.

Robert has stuck with me the entire time. He has taken care of issues that other pool builders would have ran away from. I can genuinely say he has what’s missing in this world of ours that we desperately need: Integrity!

I’ve waited this long to leave a review and every bit of this is earned by Robert and Elite Pool.

Went with Elite because the price was the best. As the project was completing, we realized they had removed items from the bid. When asked about it they said we should have known it wasn’t in the contract. Do not trust their prices!

Terrible experience! They never set up the automation, so it still doesn’t work. They had me pull up all my patio pavers so I cpuld widem my driveway, and didn’t bother to check and they were different sizes and colors. $10k+ and I had to redo it! The pool design makes no sense! The Hayward filter broke and had to be fully replaced in less than 2 years! I wish I could undo it, but I’m stuck. Save yourself!
