We had a dishwasher wired wrong at our apartment. Lutz Electric Service came in and wired it the right way so it was safe to use again.

Lutz Electric has always provided us great service..He explains well what is needed to fix our problem..From up grading our service panel's to replacing old brittle wire's with new, we can and have counted on him to serve our houses electric needs for 15 yrs.. Thank You

This is a small company run by honest people. They do good work at fair prices. To give you a feel for their morals: the owners (Dave and Frances Lutz) have fostered over 80 children (not a typo), many of them high-risk adolescents who had been rejected by other homes. They are the kind of people we like to do business with!

I was having trouble with my master switch on my AC blowing. It was a Sunday night I called to make an appointment and Dave came out that night and checked it for me. Couldn’t have done any better. Lutz Electrical Is someone I have trusted for years they fix the lighting in my office the outside of our buildings and they become the perfect electrician for any job I’ve ever had I would highly recommend them.

Very nice staff. No mess no fuss. Had installation of fire safety devices. Would you again for professional electrical services.

I totally agree with the review below, I called on numerous occasions and left a voicemail, I just needed some light fittings changed, a fan fitting and a full safety check of the electricity in the house. They'd been recommended to me but never returned any of the calls.

I would advise anyone to rethink about using these individuals for any and all electrical needs. First and foremost IF your job or needs is small.......they will not call you back to schedule an appointment - unless their business is slow. If you need something simple like new or replacement outlets, fans installed or replacement of breakers, etc. They will delay and consider you low on the priority list.
In addition, they have a tendency to call within an hour or less of an appointment and either cancel, need to reschedule or make up any other excuse. Or in one case (over a year ago), they did not show up at all....still don't know why I decided to call another time for their service.
It is has been known (by people that I have talked to) that if a more "profitable" job is available to them - they will bump you for them even though you might have an appointment already scheduled in advance.
Recently wanted to two or more ceiling fans installed, appointment already scheduled in advance. They called to cancel and/or reschedule..becuase they said they need to get up into the attic...WHAT??? They are replacement fans... they installed fans for me before.
Then they said that even though I had a 9-10am appointment that it would be another 4-6 hours before they could "attend" to my fan needs. Basically denying my appointment and giving no excuse. Poor Customer Service... told them to forget, i'll get someone else who would rather have my business.

Awful experience. Just a nightmare. I wrote a neutral letter stating the facts and asking for a full refund. I received back an aggressive, threatening letter that even insulted me personally from the owner, Dave William Lutz, III. I am shocked. I was charged $800 for work done by 2 unlicensed workers. I am now having to re-pay a different REAL electrician to come and redo the work correctly. I kindly asked for a refund and even offered that Lutz Electric come and "undo" any work they felt was unfairly completed-so, the refund would be fair to all parties involved. I ended up with 5 fans that were not correctly hooked up to the wall switches. One was even making an electric humming noise. The workers (neither one being an electrician) also moved a light-switch and now the breaker is constantly tripping for that room in my garage. My house is brand new. This has been the worst experience and Lutz Electric basically created problems that did not even exist before and they stole my $800 and refused any type of refund or compromise. Although Mr. Lutz came out to "look at" the situation, he did not even offer to make it right! My advice, if you use Lutz Electric, do not pay until you are sure the work is done CORRECTLY and make sure you have a licensed electrician in your home, since you are paying for one. Not 2 unlicensed "helpers." This has been so disheartening-I would hate for anyone else to suffer the same experience.
