When I called and informed them of my issue, they tried to help me solve it first over the phone to save money while the other local companies made my small issue (that I knew was small) seem so large. When I wasn’t able to fix it myself, they came out the same day and was quickly able to fix it at such an affordable cost. Thank you so much!!!!

Will picked up this year's maintenance appointment and diagnosed a freon leak. He came back on Wednesday and fixed it, making sure to check everything for any other issues. Very professional. This will be my go to heating and cooling company!

They went so far above and beyond to fix my unit after hours on a Friday night! Service was amazing and I could not be more pleased. I will not use or recommend anyone else for my Heating and cooling needs! Coastal is the best!

Had an issue with my system and called Coastal. From the initial call with Melissa to the repairs made by tech Will to the follow up call by Melissa it was a pleasurable experience. Honest folks who still believe in good service.

Updated review: The owner, Melissa, made sure to give me a full refund and assured me that this is not how they run business and I believe her. She was very apologetic and professional. A bad egg shouldn’t ruin the entire batch because the owner is golden. I will give them another chance in the future.

Called for a diagnosis due to AC dripping, was told nothing was wrong by the repair man and was ready to pay $79 diagnosis fee but was handed a paper that said $178 was very confused. Was told I had my ac pipe drained AFTER it was done. I said “why didn’t you ask?” The repair said “it needed to be done, so I went ahead and did it.” I said “but you’re charging me an extra $99 for this that I wasn’t prepared to pay for. I didn’t give permission. He said “it’s too late now. It’s already done, you have to pay. I don’t need your permission.” I was confused and upset and just paid for it. They hustled an extra Benjamin out of me but lost my business for the long run. I will never use this company again.

Our AC went out - totally destroyed and unfixable - on a Tuesday night with temps climbing into the 80's. I called Melissa at Coastal Heating and Cooling Wednesday morning at 8:15am with our sad story. Melissa, listened empathetically and immediately began problem solving, with the end result being a technician at our condo that morning by 9:30 am. Due to a change in regulations the required replacement was larger than the current inside portion of the unit and required customization cutting of our wall... all very scary to us. The Coastal team (3 people now) took ownership of our problem and provided a complete solution including, aesthetics, adding a customized plantation shutter door over the indoor unit. By the end of that day we had a 100% new AC solution in place. The Coastal team was professional, personally engaging and far exceeded our expectations, by any measure, including value.

Where do I start? How about Excellent, Professional, Trustworthy, Timely to start. From the phone (Melissa) to the end (William and all the techs), these guys are the best. We have used them on several of our Flip houses as well as our own home. Called at 7:00 am this morning and problem solved by 10:00 am...beat that! My message to you is CALL COASTAL first and you will never call anyone else again!

My family received excellent service from Melissa, Will and Mike of Coastal Heating and Cooling. Our first call was on a hot Florida Saturday morning of which Will arrived quickly to diagnose the problem. Ultimately it resulted in new installation of a RUUD system a few days later. Their quick response and their attention to the details is much appreciate. They earned our business!

I have used coastal heating and cooling multiple times over the ten years I have lived in Jacksonville. They are quick, efficient and usually give you options on how they can fix the problem. Not once have they suggested I needed a whole new unit. I will continue to use them so long as they continue to provide the same great service. Thanks Melissa and team

We came home after work to a hot house. Dave had a tech named will out in under 15 minutes. Will was awesome he quickly and correctly diagnosed and fixed our ac problem. He was nice, polite and courteous. My dog loved him and she's a great judge of character. Thanks again Dave and will

I called and got a same day appointment. Will came out and met me at my very warm house and got straight to work. He took things apart (which no other company has done, so I'm not even sure what they did). He got straight to the problem and before I knew it I had air conditioning again. He answered my questions without making me feel dumb and was kind and very efficient. I may not need to get a whole new unit for a little while, but when I do they have my business already in the bag! Thank you Will, so much...my furbabbies and I slept much better that night. Great experience!!!

After having issues with multiple big name companies over the years we called Coastal based on a friends referral. Glad we did! We now use them for our business and home HVAC units. They are always very reasonable, on time, and they never try to sell me parts we don't need. Thank you!
