We had a major renovation project in our 1965 Stuart home. This included replacing all the original cast iron pipes and installing brand‑new plumbing throughout our gutted kitchen and bathrooms. Eric from Favorite Plumbing took on the entire job and exceeded every expectation. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. We’re very pleased with his professionalism, his team and the final outcome.

I was charged $250 for 20 minutes of work, without fixing the problem.
I hired this plumber on a Saturday to fix a bathtub issue that I had previously attempted to repair, which resulted in a constant water leak. I clearly explained to him over the phone it was a complex situation but he told me he could fix it, with an estimated cost of $250.
After opening the wall and realizing he was also unable to resolve the issue, he capped the bathtub pipes inside the wall.
He then explained that properly fixing the problem would require additional $690 work (excluding wall repairs), to be done on Monday ( 2 days later), as he did not have all the necessary tools with him (what???!!).
He also stated that the house would require a full pipe replacement.
Despite the original issue remaining unresolved and the bathtub still being unusable, he still charged $250, justifying it that now I don't have the leak in the tub and it was one hour of his time on a Saturday, even though approximately 45 minutes were spent walking through the house discussing an estimate for a full re-pipe, rather than fixing the original problem.
To charge $250 for one hour is like a salary of 500K/year!!!!
In summary, regardless of the conversation or how friendly he may seem, the experience felt focused on charging money, despite having assured me the issue could be resolved and coming unprepared to do so, which was his fault, not mine.
