All reviews for TR Electric

I used Driven Power Systems to do two jobs on my home. One job was a new sub-panel and adding a 220V wire to power my hot tub. The second job was changing out some older wiring, receptacles, switches, and other odds and ends.

Both jobs were reasonably priced and the electricians were professional and polite. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them for any electrical needs !!!

Alex was absolutely amazing!! Super fair!! Really cares about customers and their safety! Highly recommended!!

Driven Power Systems provided exceptional service to me, from the quick response by Tiffany in getting a date set up for an in-home estimate, to the installation of much-needed recessed lighting in my Pinellas Park home. Being sight-impaired, I have a LOT of lighting needs plus small issues like switching to GFCI and a couple outlets not working properly. James did a thorough, accurate estimate and gave me useful ideas. The company was 100% on-board with me splitting my expensive project into 2 phases. Phase one was beautifully completed by Joshua (whom I will request for Part 2. He has a wonderful, patient, respectful style interacting with the guys who were assisting him - that really stood out to me.) 16 new recessed lights were installed, I got a bit of a volume discount, they were quick and efficient and the guys cleaned up nicely afterwards. Half of my home is now no longer dark and cave like. I can't wait to complete all my lighting projects in Oct and I highly recommend Driven Power Systems.

Joseph with DPS has now performed several light fixture installs and upgrades around our home, both indoors and outside. He is always polite, professional, friendly, on-time, and does an impeccable job of cleaning up afterwards. We could not be happier with our experience and will continue to request him for future jobs as needed.

This company is a gem to work with. They are responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and show a true passion for their trade. I had the pleasure of working directly with James, the owner, and he explained the entire process of the installation and he even gave me a run down on the electrical theory behind it. I have to admit... I had no idea what he was talking about with the electrical side of it, but it shows that he's truly immersed in what he does and I think his knowledge and leadership will take his company to the next level. Use these guys, you wont regret it.

Joshua alerted me by text that he was gonna be a little late and he was right on time that he said he was going to arrive. He came right in worked quickly and efficiently and had everything done in two hours! Great job!

UPDATE:
Just contracted with this company for about the 4th time in several months. ALWAYS "Spot" on (dad joke intended). This latest time we had Josh install landscape lights. He cares for his customers, works very hard, is thorough, knowledgeable, personable, motivated, detail and safety oriented and we want him back!!!!

From earlier:
From Luis right at the start, we knew we had something good. Then Zayvier and Elier showed up and it was nothing but perfection, professionalism, and skill. Great company. Will be hiring again real soon!!!

Driven Power System is exceptionally responsive. They always answer the phone and/or return phone calls promptly. President, James Webb, was quick to work up an estimate with fair pricing. James recognized I was in a pinch and needed 4 point inspection issues remediated ASAP. He sent two great guys, Eric and Brett, to the house to fix everything as needed. They took pictures of the work so we could clear the inspection report to get insurance, and they also adjusted the original estimate based on what did not need to be done. I definitely recommend Driven Power Systems to anyone looking for a knowledgeable electrician who has integrity. When you work with these guys, you know it's going to get done right. Thank you Driven Power Systems!

I love supporting locally owned business. If you feel the same, then look no further than Driven Power Systems. Had to have a fan removed & chandelier installed. The employees were professional, courteous, explained the process and cleaned up the very minimal mess made. I highly recommend this company and will use them for all my electrical needs!

We needed repairs for a power main line, and driven power got the job done in a very timely and professional manner. The communication with their office was excellent. Other electricians we contacted were unwilling to accept the work but driven got it done with no issues.

Jordan and Joseph did an amazing job for my mother. They showed up on time and did what we thought was going to be days worth of work within just little time frame and great work at that! just enough time for the family get together. great communication and good quality work! For sure will be recommending!

Power Driven does the job right. At a fair price. With a great attitude. James & Tiffany are wonderful to work with. Danny & Steven did quality work. Whenever needed, I'll definitely use them again!

I have now had Driven Power Systems perform 4 different jobs at my home and on the guest house- and I am thoroughly pleased. The work quality is excellent, the guys are courteous and respectful and I know I can trust them. Hats off to Jay and his crew!

Clinton did a Great job with the foyer lights and separating the switches. Very happy with the outdoor dedicated line he put in for my electric smoker. But best of all was the outlet for the Bathroom TV. It was an awkward area and he did a Great job. I would definitely recommend them for their professionalism and their price.

Excellent service, and a great experience! Clinton was thorough, and he made everything from the job (wiring up a chandelier, a pendant light sequence, and a new switch panel from nothing) look as if it were in the house to begin with. He also continuously cleaned up after himself with any James was extremely pleasant in his initial consultation (and he was here on a weekend!), and his company’s positive culture shows through the service of his team.

We will absolutely keep Driven in mind for future projects, and will definitely recommend you all. Thanks again for a great job!

Jay Webb is a good honest man. I had a few small jobs that I needed to get done (motion lights, patio outlet and new cable tv line for our spare bedroom) After calling a few local companies that either blew me off or couldn't be bothered with the small tasks I needed, Driven Power was recommended by a friend. Jay gave me a time that he would be able to stop by and give me an estimate. He showed up on time and was very professional. His price was much less than what I thought it would've cost based on work I've had done on my previous home. Everything was done very neat and clean. I'll be using Driven Power again for sure.

I had a large amount of work done by this company. A few months later a problem took place . I called and they were out the next day at 8am. Moe and alex were the guys who responded and they diagnosed the problem right away. They were polite, professional and fixed the problem right away. Would recommend Driven pow

I found Driven Power Systems on the Neighborhood app recommended by a neighbor. I called and James Webb came out the next day to check out my problem. He was on time, professional, courteous, and respectful. I was very happy with his work and recommendations. I called him back for two additional electrical jobs. His rates are reasonable and he cleaned up after himself! I have used two other local electrical companies in St Petersburg with very expensive, disastrous results. I am already finding other electrical jobs around the house that I've been putting off for a long time that I can finally have fixed. Driven Power Systems is the only electrical company I'll use in the future. Finally a contractor I can trust!

James and his crew were all super helpful and friendly! Driven power systems was by far the most reasonably priced electrician service willing too come out on a very stormy Sunday afternoon to help us get power back. They will absolutely be my electrician of choice from now on!

I recently had to call Driven Power Systems to repair a fan outlet that I short circuited trying to repair it myself. I managed to knock out power to portion of my house and had out of town guest coming to visit on same day. I called DPS and explained my urgent issue. Danny and Steven immediately came out and were able to repair my outlet and get the power restored. They also made sure to check and make safe another outlet as well. They were both very friendly and professional. I truly appreciated their knowledge and ability to respond and get the job done at a fair price. I highly recommend DPS for all your electrical needs.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with this company- hired to install x2 garage lights on the exterior of our home. Maverick did a wonderful job with all the wiring, put it all on a timer & cleaned up beautifully. We couldn't be happier with how he organized & ran it all perfectly. In addition he swapped out my old door fixture to hang a matching one - as an added bonus. Great guy, great company - very trustworthy and clearly hard-working.
