They grinded down a stump, removed a tree that was pushing against a fence, tore out ugly old brick work, and replaced all of it with grass. They went the extra mile and gave me specific instructions, without me asking, on how to care for the grass which saved me a bunch of YouTube videos. 5/5

Dependable landscape contractor. I was surprised by the quality of the plants and how well they cleaned up. Luis was a great installer.

I searched high and low for a quality, yet, affordable landscape company to maintain my many bushes, trees and palms to no avail. Finally, a friend recommended JLC and I couldn't be happier. At first, the quote alone made me happy, then the organization and follow through, then the actual service. Good bye yard work days!

I was hesitant about hiring a lawn maintenance service in the first place, but now I am SO glad that I did. I considered a lot of companies before hiring JLC, and chose them because they include more work (even tree trimming) each time they come, for a better price quote than I got from any of the other companies I contacted.

I thought I would hate paying another bill, but it does not cost nearly as much as I expected, and now I am practically thrilled to pay it because it gives us back our much-needed weekends, without having yard work hanging over our heads. Plus, even though we were making ourselves miserable trying to keep our yard looking good, it always looked like crap. It now looks 100 times better than it ever did before.

Also, they landscapers they sent me are really friendly and professional. This last time, I noticed that they even picked up some recycling that had blown all over my back porch the night before, even though it was not in the area where they were working. How great is that?

Daniel was amazing. He got our ancient irrigation system working again. Our pump was shot and he replaced that a fixed and replaced missing heads and repaired holes in the line. Super happy with his hard work and quick turnaround.

We’ve now used JLC Landscaping for a landscaping redesign and a French drain installation and Jason and his crew did an excellent job! Jason takes his time explaining the pros and cons of each design decision and answers literally every question you could think of. I’ll be using them for any future work and I highly suggest you give them a try!

I’ve had JLC doing special projects and maintenance for a few years. Projects have always been well planned and executed. I’m EXTREMELY picky about maintenance and they always are responsive to my requests when attention is needed. Their willingness to meet my requirements extends from management to onsite crews. 😁

We discussed our ideas. Then went on vacation and came back weeks later. Voila!

The finished project was just as discussed. The neighborhood awarded us Yard of the month shorty thereafter.

Jason and his team helped us design our backyard landscape after a new pool installation. He was responsive, competitively priced, and delivered exactly what he said he would. In addition to the beautiful Areca and Sylvester palms, his team also installed drainage for our sloped property line, a new irrigation system (piping/sprinklers) for the backyard, and sod for the yard. We're very happy with the work and would highly recommend this company!

We had new sod installed and the experience was great from start to finish. The owner and his team were professional, thorough, and clearly take pride in their work. They made sure everything was done right, paid attention to the details, and left our yard looking great. We’re very impressed with the quality of the sod and the care that went into the installation. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to transform their lawn!

From the first call to the last email JLC Outdoors have been very professional and responsive. My back yard had horrible drainage and soggy yard problems. The initial inspection by Jason was reassuring. He had a straight forward approach to fix the issue. Then the crew onsite was extremely professional. A pipe to my pool was accidentally hit (no fault of the crew, my home was built in 1977 and who knows where what runs anymore). JLC had their technician out that day to correct the pipe and get the pool up and running again. The communication and quality of work are outstanding at JLC, they will be my go to for anything exterior! Thank you Jason and crew!

I met with Jason in April (it’s now August) for a paver installation quote for my yard. After nearly four months of periodically checking in on the status of the quote, I still haven’t received anything, and rarely (once) did Jason take the initiative to follow up with me, only to not follow through.

I explained in our first meeting that I wasn’t in a hurry to get the job done, but this protracted wait coupled with the lack of communication betrays real unprofessionalism. I understand that vendor delays and scheduling issues can complicate a job, but this doesn’t account for being told (multiple times) “your plan is closed to finished” or similar… only for nothing.

I’m giving three stars here because, who knows? Maybe they would have done an awesome job. I’ll never know. This isn’t to say that they won’t do good work for, just that your mileage may vary.

To Jason: Use a planner, hire a scheduling assistant, or decline a job you have no intention of completing.
