Never should have bought one of their homes. In their 2 car garages you cannot open the door on both sides of the car and they barely fit a Tesla model 3. I cannot wait to move out of this place and I’m only in 5 months!

Stay away from them. Horrible stories online. All the stories are the same. From stucco to plumbing. They don't know what they are doing. Owner should move cautious. There's a lot of pissed of people

Potential Home Buyer beware - make sure you get everything in writing that your sales person offers and have an independent agent or attorney review the contract to insure that all agreements made by the sales person to close the deal are included. Please note that your DFH sales person is not authorized to make any commitments on behalf of the DFH, so they are just false statements and will not hold up if they are not included in the contract. I trusted my sales person and got burned. Apparently DFH does not back up their sales people and allows them to mislead customers.

Unfortunately, I picked dream finders as the builder to my home last year and this first year has been trash, definitely not a good dream. From the amount of issues and you being told “it’s normal or that common” which some things are and I get that. Just and fyi I’m a Facilities Manager and have been for some big companies from 2000-200,000 square feet from managing 30+ 2000 square feet building and 6 massive 200,000+ buildings!! so I definitely understand how somethings are normal and to be told this for EVERYTHING is a slap in the face not just to me but to all my neighbors who are having issues as well. The lack of professionalism, the lack of integrity, the lack in pride of their work, there lack in having some type of higher standard especially when There 2-3 other builders in this community and this by far has to be the worse one. Would not recommend. I’ve been telling these clowns about the pest issue that builders have brought once the house next door started, that I didn’t have the first 8-10 month until their Contrustions team came and started to build the new home. These pest(mice) have gotten into my house twice now. There workers are constantly leaving trash and affecting other by how they work. I’ve had nails in my driveway. Pot holes in front of my house for about the entire year that if been here until recently. The list goes on and on. This has not been a good experience. I have one more year before I can go, so I can’t wait. They have been a disappointment and I hope the entire company isn’t like this but they(YOU) have not left a good taste in the mouth of hammock reserve properties!

Please listen to reviewers and stay away from this builder. All builders have their issues here and there, but this company is the worst beyond anything imaginable. We have had several new construction homes built in our lifetime and this is by far the worst beyond anything else and our biggest regret. Poor quality construction, all kinds of issue way past closing and the company won't repair them after constant communication. They won't even respond to formal complaints, which let's you know how much they care about their customers. They will lie to no end. Once they sell you the home you are stuck with a poorly built home. Our home was delayed by over 7 months, in addition to the 8 months we have already been waiting, just to get a home that still had unfinished things at closing with the promise they will take care of it ASAP, which never happened. We are 4 months in and still living in a disaster of a home and finding many issues as the days go by. We do not know how Central FL is allowing this company to continue to build here. Very disappointing!

DO NOT BUY DREAMCRUSHERS/ DREAM KILLERS HOMES! If you want to build a house with quality, this is not the right builder. Please listen to me, and I also invite you to go on Facebook and look for Dream Finders Horror Stories. We are talking about headache after headache. Crooked walls, dents on tiles, floors, bowed walls, scratches everywhere, all kind of problems. They do not care about quality, they just care about your money. Starting with the Construction Manager trying to hide scratches on countertops with a piece of paper… and the lies keep coming. Please make sure to read the contract before you purchase a house with them ( I do not recommend it). They do not read the contracts and ended up installing the wrong items. They also installed burned LED lights and forgot the recessed can lights. The warranty department constantly tell you that things are not warrantable and that everything is “within normal” . If you have any questions, contact me and I send you pictures. Do not believe their lies and RUN AWAY! They are better builders such as David Weekly that really cares about your dreams and investments. I don’t know how they can sleep at night.

My home was built in 2019 with a 10 year warranty on the structure. For 4 years I have been hearing a popping sound in the ceiling area. After several calls and emails I finally got someone to come out and inspect my home. I found that the drywall in the kitchen and common areas are cracked in seam of the ceiling. The drywall in the garage are separated from the wall and upon inspection of the attic while they were up there the drywall cracked in two places. I then spoke with two different people who told me that there’s nothing they can do. I have lived in two different homes here in Florida and never have I seen cracks and drywall separation in any of those homes. This company is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. I’m going to talk with an attorney and see what can be done because this company refused to help me rectify this problem. I’m also going to call the new and have them come out and see what I’m dealing with. I’ve also filled a complaint with the BBB. Anyone building a new home DO NOT DEAL with DREAM FINDERS HOME. Recently I saw a small water mark in one of the bedroom ceiling, I had a roofer come out and do an inspection and told me “the roof was poorly done” there’s a 3-4 feet section where the water settles call the “dead valley “ that area only has shingles which allows the water to leak into my bedroom. After calling Dream Finders and told them what was said, they told me they are not responsible for any repairs because the house is out of warranty. Now, I was told that there’s a 20 year warranty on the roof and 10 years on the structure but there people refuse to do what’s best for us the customers. Now I see why they’re not registered with the BBB. This is the worse builders I’ve ever dealt with.

I would give DreamFinders zero stars if I could. If you’re considering building with them, run the other way. We certainly regret our decision to trust them with our home. It has been nothing but problems from the start. Our upstairs bathroom flooded into our master bathroom just TWO months after we moved in. We've had water intrusion from faulty stucco because they didn’t follow Florida building code for stucco thickness, which has led to a class action lawsuit against the builder. Our HOA was locked in to terrible landscape and internet contracts and they never provided the amenities referenced in the contract at signing. It’s beyond frustrating to deal with a builder who cuts corners like this. Save yourself the trouble and choose another builder. It’s a shame they’ve managed to deceive so many homeowners with subpar work and empty promises.

Dreamfinders need to find a new cabinet source for their new homes. Timberlake cabinet company are not customer friendly, not quick to resolve and care less for their work ethic.. I have been in my new home nearly 3 months now and still minimal effort to resolve the mess that they call cabinets.

Pretty disappointed with Dream finders. On October 11th they were painting the house Nextdoor. When we got home in the evening the painter walked over and said there painting the side of the house and wanted to avoid the car getting oversprayed. They had already painted the rest of the house and my car was covered. The first pic shows the car in the Am clean with just morning dew on it. The second shows it’s covered with the painter walking over and the video is him asking us to move it. James Kirker the Project manager at Dream finders was contacted as soon as we realized it simply couldn’t be washed off that week. He said he would get it resolved and to get a quote. After we brought him two quotes he wanted two more. Fast forward to now he says it’s the painter’s responsibility. I have personally tried to clean it off twice as I can’t show up to client meetings in a car that looks like that and the car still is not back to normal. All the detailers the car needs the same thing done which is a decontamination and a new application of my ceramic coating, the painters say they don’t see an issue and will not pay and to reach out to Dreamfinders. Now James Kirker doesn’t answer the phone. Super upsetting

Don’t buy houses from Dream Finders! They must be called Nightmare Finders! They sold me a house at Palms of Windermere (56 lote) that was supposed to have a backyard with 22 feet where I was supposed to make a pool… after signing the contract and beginning construction of the house I discovered it has just 6 feet !!! I have a letter from their realtor that was at the decorated unit confirming they informed that to them. They refuse to return our downpayment!!! It is misrepresenting. Of course they know they will not leave space to a pool on the backyard in advance. That’s why most of the houses on this neighborhood are unsold!

DreamFinders Homes has been an absolute nightmare to work with. Poor quality and overpriced homes. From uneven floors, crooked walls, air conditioner wired to the heater, irrigation system not working properly, drywall damages hidden behind light fixtures, lighting wired incorrectly, delays in permits, poor communication, and the list goes on. If there is an issue with something and you bring it to their attention, they argue back and make excuses, all while smiling in your face. My advice is to stay away from this builder!
