I bought my home December 2023. It has a septic tank with a pump that I knew nothing about. In March 2024, both toilets stopped flushing and sewage backed up into both bathrooms! I paid out hundreds to two different septic services before calling Roto Rooter. I had no problems for a year!

Last Friday it started again. I tried drain and septic cleaners, but nothing worked. I decided it was roots and called Roto Rooter who sent Austin and Denys. These two young men cleared my line and discovered no roots, but that my sewage system is not installed correctly. Apparently the seller of this house did some creative things with the pipes.

They were thorough, explaining how it should be set up and what will happen if I don’t make the changes they suggested. They even gave me information about their financing option in case this new job is bigger than my budget. Ginger-bearded Austin and Denys, with his charming accent, were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Roto Rooter’s Technician Trevor was very polite, professional great attention to detail. Once Informed of the symptoms and what I had tried, He suspected something he’d seen a couple of times before and used a snake camera to look and it was confirmed that there was some fungus/bacteria? Growing and reducing the flow up to 2/3 through the flange transition and actual pipe. Has only seen it in new construction PVC systems. Removed the toilets and cleaned a good gallon+ of that out. Replaced some of the old well worn items and hardware too. I know more now of what to look for. Reinforced why I pay for great plumbers!
