I would like to place on record how pleased I was in dealing with Mr. RAy Williams and his crew with the renovations of my bathroom and kitchen. They executed professionally and on time , and kept my place very clean during the process.Great people to deal with.

Choice built a new master bath and bedroom in an existing space. Excellent communications, high quality of work and right on budget. I am reusing Choice Kitchen and Bath for a Reno of my kitchen as well. Highly recommended!

Ray is really great to work with. He is prompt at communication - which is always my biggest obstacle when working with people - and he is great at it! I'm really happy to recommend him to anyone who needs home remodeling work done.

We work on every project with this company they are one point. They are very talented and ray is a very smart contractor that knows what he's doing. We continue to work along side with them as they are one of the top contractors in Tampa bay. Highly recommend this company for excellent work.

It took longer than expected, but the quality was done well and we were able to stay on budget. Thank you Deborah, Dale, Ray, and the rest of the Choice Crew

I have worked with Choice Kitchen & Bath on several occasions, cleaning up after their beautiful remodeling work was done. They are always so very nice and they pay right away. The work I've seen is just beautiful! Real attention to detail. They will definitely be my first call when I decide to redo my house. Highly recommend.

My experience with Choice Kitchen and Bath Inc. was very good. I hired them from the Home Advisor website and was quite pleased. The general contractor Raby Williams was on time for all our meetings and he was very easy to talk to. When ever there was an issue Ray did his best to make it right. All remodeling and construction is stressful so make sure you know exactly what you want done from the beginning because there is always something that pops up. Ray even did extra things at no additional cost that made it look better which was a very nice touch. It also was finished faster than I anticipated so yes I would recommend them. Patrick Somsel

We were looking for a company to remodel our kitchen from new flooring to new cabinets and countertops. After interviewing several local contractors, we chose Choice Kitchen and Baths. Ray Williams worked with us to design a new layout, providing sketches for us to review, all before any contract was signed, something other contractors wouldn’t do. The work was scheduled for 5 weeks duration and completed within that timeframe. Ray was very good at communicating to keep us informed along the way. We are extremely pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Ray Williams with Choice Kitchen and Baths to anyone seeking a contractor for their next project.

We recently completed a complete gut job renovation of our guest bathroom. Ray (the owner) was extremely professional and responsive to all of our requests, giving us a finished product that is exactly what we had hoped for. Andrea (the office manager) is extremely organized and provided a schedule of work to be completed in advance which made our lives much easier knowing who and when workers would be showing up at our house. All of the laborers were extremely skilled and proficient, to include demo/plumbers/drywall/tile, etc. I would highly recommend working with this team in the future and will be sure to call them the next time we have the need. 10/10 overall experience.

Ray and his team did an excellent job remodeling my bathroom and shower! I had a plumbing leak and contacted Ray to replace my drywall, vanity, mirror and light fixture. We decided to remodel our master shower and I’m so glad we did. The shower tile work was meticulous and Ray went above and beyond to find matching floor tile. Ray is quite accommodating and patient. Remodeling isn’t easy but they were always on time and kept me calm. A year later I have another plumbing issue and I immediately called Ray. I would highly recommend Choice Kitchen and Bath!

Ray"s design took my tiny kitchen and created a beautiful open concept. I love it.

My experience with choice kitchen was good. Dale was our guy who was respectable, and considerate. We like our bathroom!

Ray ad his team did a fabulous job. The cabinets were installed in 1 day. The electrician installed lighting that really made the whole thing pop. We find that we enjoy just sitting in the room each evening and talking.

We recently completed a master bath remodel and we love the end result. The process was frustrating at times and the job took much longer than expected but Ray and his team took our vision and turned it into reality. We are happy with our beautiful new space.

Overall we were happy with the price and quality of the work. It took a little longer than we hoped to fully complete, but our new kitchen looks great and I am very happy with the finished product.

Ray was great initially, but he seemed to lack the necessary organizational skills to complete our bath and bar in a timely manner while trying to manage other jobs. When here, the subcontractors did a very good job for the most part; however, we had the project go much too long due in part to multiple failed inspections, and dates of work being pushed back again and again. Subs would show for a short time one day, then not again for a week-- usually only after contact from us for information on what was happening. Dale was wonderful to work with, however, the impression was that this company works in a linear fashion, perhaps needing funds from one job before being able to continue with another. Once finished, the quality of the work was very good.

Initially, I was very happy with Ray Williams and CKB. Our project of closing in our carport to make additional living space and adding more cabinets to our kitchen was projected to take 3-4 months, per Ray. Sadly, it took 7 months just to get a permit. CKB will tell you that the City of Tampa dragged their feet. I can't say who is at fault but I do know three things; 1) after I signed my contract in August 2017 and paid the deposit it took 4-5 weeks for someone to even show up from the architect's office to take measurements, 2) the drawings were never finish prior to the Christmas holidays and then everyone disappeared for weeks, 3) the plans had to be submitted to the City multiple times for corrections. My permit was finally approved March 7, 2018, and to my surprise Ray Williams was not listed as the General Contractor. Turns out he isn't one and relies on someone I never met, Mike Avato, to pull his permits.

The next 10 months were almost unbearable. It was endless problems; people not showing up when scheduled, or showing up but not working because some aspect of the job that needed to be done wasn't, the proper materials weren't on site so the subs couldn't work, etc. We also witnessed a lot of Ray's subs bad mouthing each other. Very unprofessional in front of the customer. Our contract, like others, has a payment schedule based on progress. At times we were pressured to pay when clearly the work was not complete. As another reviewer mentioned, it seemed CKB needed the money from one job in order to complete another.

In general, Ray maintained his professional demeanor and never spoke disrespectfully to our face. Despite this, I found him on a number of occasions to be misleading and down right dishonest to avoid conflict. I would not use CKB again in the future.

Beware! Ray Williams, the project manager to my renovation project is not qualified to do this kind of work, and the licensed contractor behind the business, Mike Amato never came out to inspect the work.
Choice Kitchen & Bath hire the cheapest labor, and don't supervise them. The work was sloppy, they charged me for things they didn’t do - so check your invoice carefully! Ray held client meetings in my home when I was away - without my permission. And he lies about everything inconvenient to him.

Over a year later I’m still waiting for my closed permit.

Find another contractor. Ray was great to start with. The proposal was very well done and even had renderings of the proposed remodel. And that's when it all went down hill. The work was supposed to be a kitchen, bath and laundry room remodel. It should have taken 2 to 3 months, time agreed to by Ray and even given in a schedule of work. At 10 months I finally have had to hire another contractor to finish the work. As far as quality it wasn't any better than their work ethic. Walls were poorly installed and not square. Tile was installed over uneven walls and thus not a flat surface. The electrical wiring is causing flickering in the lights, the floors aren't level, the list goes on. There were several times I had to go back to the contract to get them to do the work they had proposed. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Find someone else.
