Nesbit came in lower than other quotes to replace a railroad tie wall with large fieldstone. While there, I asked them to remove the ivy above the wall and they said they would. I don't think they knew what they were agreeing to but they worked at it until all the ivy was gone! The stone wall looks great and seems like it will be there until the next millennium. One more thing - I have two large specimen trees and a pool deck. They could have rolled machinery on the pool deck and risked hurting it and the trees. They chose to hand carry all the LARGE fieldstone boulders and place one by one. I'm super happy with the results - pool deck great, trees great, wall great, ivy GONE!

Nesbit Landscape did a great job for us. They corresponded effectively with insurance, their crew knocked out the work efficiently and were friendly. It was an all-around great experience and the final work looks great!!

We needed a solution for a small shady, damp back and side yard and Eric and the team at Nesbit came through. We are very pleased with the look and functionality of our “new” yard. They were very professional and easy to work with.

I had an awkward project that several other companies I contacted said they cannot accommodate. My issue: a current retaining wall that had a hill above where my fence was installed. This hill was starting to erode badly due to lack of plants taking substantial root over the years, the tremendous amount of rain we've had in the past 2 years, and some incredibly tight packed clay. Additionally, the hill was sloped about 45 degrees, which made it hard to work on and access.

Eric came out and identified we needed another retaining wall on top of the existing, cut into the hill, about 28' long and 2-3' high to hold the hill. He explained some options with the wall and noticed I had plants installed by the builder 5 years ago that could move up to the hill for better positioning and lower maintenance on the hill itself. We were originally scheduled for mid July, but they were able to come out late June and knock it out in 2 days. His team was punctual, helpful, and they did some solid work that included drainage and replanting a bunch of plants for me. The wall looks great and I'll definitely be using them again when I need to replace the lower wall!

Eric and his team did a great job building our retaining wall. It was a big undertaking but he explained everything in detail and was very thorough making sure everything was done right. The whole process was smooth and we will recommend him to our friends.

We had drainage issues in our backyard and had several contractors propose solutions.
In addition to a dry creek bed or drain piping proposed by other contractors, Eric from Nesbit Landscaping included a unique aspect in their solution; a low stone wall to keep a steep slope from further eroding and washing on to a walkway. Although more costly than we originally planned, it was by far the best solution. Our drainage issues are under control and aesthetically the back yard looks fabulous.
Nesbit also replaced sod, planted trees and put down a flagstone path all to our satisfaction.
Eric has great vision/ideas, especially when it comes to hardscapes/stonework.
We highly recommend Nesebit and plan to use them for other projects in the future.

I absolutely recommend using Nesbit Landscape. I interviewed several landscapers and discussed my plans. Nesbit had the best understanding and best ideas for my yard. My family left for vacation, and trusted Nesbit to the full installation while we were away. We returned to a beautifully manicured back yard. Nesbit solved our drainage issues, installed new grass, plants and pavers. We are 100% satisfied and would use them again without hesitation. We are happy to finally have the yard we have always wanted!

Highly recommend! Eric was great to work with on our backyard project. We had some thoughts about what we wanted to do, but he came in with his recommendations and we couldn't be happier with the results. We would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Eric did a fantastic job at our house and at a reasonable cost. The house we bought in Nov 18 had water that would enter the garage during heavy rains and the inspector told us some of the wood in the crawlspace was damp. Eric ran a french drain across the front, tied in 2 other downspouts and cut through the driveway to run everything into the woods...Been a couple months now and it's working wonderfully. Great job!
