Mark redesigned our tired 20 year old front yard, refreshing the whole thing from scratch. DSD pulled the worn out and dying shrubs, cut down a tree, removed a bed with a giant horrendous juniper. They replanted flowering shrubs, new trees, and sodded the whole front. Mark was very responsive, had great communication, and continued follow up for all my questions about watering etc.

Mark and his team worked so hard to completely change my lawn. While it’s absolute gorgeous, now, they also addressed a number of logistical issues with drainage, a dying tree, and incredibly tough soil. Regardless of the challenges, everyone was friendly, helpful, and - bless them for working through the hottest days of the summer - dedicated.

Great experience, starting with the consultation to the final product. Mark was responsive and did great work. He overhauled our backyard, installed a dry creek bed and helped redo our front yard and front walkway for some great curb appeal. Highly recommend!

Mark and his team saved our yard! The previous owners let our yard overgrow so much that we were at a total loss of what to do. Mark came highly recommended to us from a friend. He quickly came out and helped us figure out how to approach all the work, and how to do it all in phases. He also thoroughly explained each phase and what it would include. We've done the initial clean up and the first phase with new sod in the front. Our yard already has much more curb appeal! We are looking forward to working with Mark and his team on the next phase.

Mark and his team have been great to work with this summer. There are no surprises. He gives you a good, honest quote and his team shows up on time to complete the work. Mark is also great at explaining what to expect. He's worked with many of our neighbors. So he's familiar with the landscape around here and what looks good. We have several projects in the works and we plan on using Down South Design for all of them!

Down South Design has rescued our yard! It is a large and difficult job and Mark and his team have transformed it into an oasis that my family can enjoy and be proud of. After my neighbor used this team and had great results, I called Mark and his team installed new zoysia in our front yard in two days. The turf is beautiful and quickly established.
