I had 4 geckos fry one compressor and I knew it was a matter of time before the other compressor will be the next victim. JD was the only one out of three companies that returned my call and he called rather quickly! He was very accommodating. Mark was very thorough as he explained the process and more than excited to share his knowledge when I asked questions (though not many questions because he had thoroughly explained in the beginning). Mark and Emil were very professional, polite, and in a good mood (I love people who are not grumpy or obviously not happy to be here). I would definitely call them again and will be referring them to others as well. Thank you JD, Mark, and Emil!!

Initially I searched on Yelp to find someone to service my split A/C units. Sadly, where I live we have Carrier A/C units (if you have Carrier, bless your soul because it's been a TRIP with this brand).

Anyway, a neighbor of ours told us about this company and seeing the initial Yelp reviews I decided why not use them, right? The original installer that the builder used didn't seem reliable based on their reviews and me calling numerous times with no call back.

I gave up and sent an inquiry online to APB Construction. In less than a day, Jordan was able to email me a quote. He worked with my on scheduling my A/C cleaning a month in advance (I needed to give my work proper notice). He was pretty thorough in his explanation on what they would be doing and explaining the cost of the servicing. It's not a cheap service to get so I wanted to be sure I was getting my money's worth. Jordan always made sure to answer any questions or concerns I had. I can't really answer my phone at work so I appreciated someone who could return my email correspondants.

Fast forward to 02/25/2021 (my appointment was supposed to be 02/26/2021 but something came up), Emil and Mark show up at 7am for my cleaning. They explained everything they were going to do and listened as I voiced my concerns over some units that were not performing as they should. Emil was patient to answer all my questions before I left for work. While I was work, they were able to deep clean 3 of my units and let me know the other 3 weren't as dirty so they did a basic cleaning. I was also able to get a rebate which saved me a good amount of money.

When they were done, Emil kindly called me to let me know he locked my house for me and that he would call me later that evening to go over the service call via phone.

Later that evening, Emil did call me and explain the situation for me. He did confirm that we did indeed have 3 units that need to be looked at. He was also patient when my husband called to get a better explanation. (I did not translate well what was wrong with our A/C so my husband wanted to be sure exactly what the issue is since he works on A/C's on submarines LOL).

Emil was detailed when he talked to my husband and later when we turned on the A/C's they work so much better than when we moved in (the builder left the A/C on 24/7 once they were installed so all the infamous Ewa Beach red dirt and dust snuck into our vents). He even recommended based on our usage how often we should have our A/C's cleaned and did not feel bothered when I asked for a quote for adding an A/C unit in the garage or replacing the (6) Carrier units we have (again, if you have Carrier bless your soul).

Just moved into our house and the A/C was already out. Called APB and they were incredibly responsive, gave me the next available appointment and got out to look at it. Came out the first time, found more issues than they expected, came out again and fixed everything and now out AC is working great. We had about four different techs come out to our house across the different visits and they were all incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Hands down will be calling them again in the future if we need any more work done!

My APB Construction HVAC appointment was very professional. The service tech arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable on the aspects of our our system. Our system is 15+ years old, and the tech was diligent in his work. We are considering hiring APB Construction to replace the existing unit before it fails.

I have an older home and my elderly parents recently came to live with me and my family. I contacted APB air conditioning and it was the best decision I've made. The company is run professionally and the workers are knowledgeable skilled and friendly. Jordan, Mark, Kevin, and Jason were excellent! They came on time, kept the work site clean, and explained every process to me and my wife. Very hard workers. They were friendly to my family and now my house is nice and cool for my parents. My wife and I are very happy with the finished product!

Excellent customer service. We had issues with the coils on a few of our A/C Carrier wall mounted units. From the beginning Trenton was very professional and responsive. He ensured the parts were under warranty, and we were able to schedule the repair within just a few days. During the work, he explained everything in detail, replaced the coils, and cleaned the units, and there were no surprises. Trenton also checked and cleaned a few other units. Highly recommend APB HVAC.

Just in time for this summer heat!!

Last year my split system AC started to leak on the inside of our house, and finally after 27 years she no longer worked

I researched best brands, models and companies before reaching out to APB construction. Out of all the yelp and google reviews this one stood out to me. I inquired to get a quote and received a call same day to go over pricing. The call was the perfect balance of inquiry, salesman ship but most importantly true aloha spirit. I got other quotes all similar in pricing but didn't have the same experience I did with my initial quote call. Because of the customer experience I chose this company.

I reached out to inquire about scheduling an install and the hard part was done for me, this company truly made the whole process seem less. They removed my old system and quickly installed my new one all in the same day. We had gone without the AC for a few months and it was so nice to finally be cooling off the house.

I will definitely be recommending this company to both family and friends when they inquire on what company helped my house get back to its igloo status in this summer heat.

We recently returned to the island and moved back into our townhome. Unfortunately the 2.5 ton AC unit wasn’t working properly so I started requesting service. The first company did a fair free assessment but didn’t carry the older R22 refrigerant and provided some quotes on replacing this aging unit. He also couldn’t isolate the leak but said the system was low which is a sign of leakage. When APB arrived the tech confirmed the drop in refrigerant and inspected the system in the ceiling. He didn’t find the leak there so he went back to diagnosing the compressor. After some further analysis he found it and had R22 on hand for recharging the system. As you can see the system is aging but APB was able to buy us time and provided a verbal quote for consideration. A+ service and professionalism with no upselling. And a special thanks to our tech who answered all of my curious questions. Apologies I don’t recall his name.
