We are so happy for the services they rendered to us. A team of 6 guys cut our 3 palm big trees and grind the roots for less than 2 hours only... whew! They left our yard clean. What an efficient and professional company. We highly recommend them.

Ohana came out 2 days after we called them. Took out 2 large coconut trees and ground down stumps. Cleaned up yard rubbish beyond the tree debris. Wonderful job. Price was in the middle of three other quotes. The best we have ever hired to work in the yard.

We called Ohana Tree Service for an estimate to cut down a 30 ft coconut tree in our mother's back yard. We were told that a gentleman named Rocky would come by and give us an estimate and he was also the expert climber/tree trimmer & cutter. Rocky showed up on time and was very professional. When we spoke to him, we told him that the tree was dangerous because it could fall into the neighbors house. We expressed the urgency of cutting the tree down the soonest possible because of safety reasons. He understood the importance and worked us into an appointment the very next day. ROCKY showed up the next day and without delay cut the 30 ft tree and also cut a second tree that also posed a safety hazard to anyone who would walk in the backyard. Rocky is s true professional who is caring and true to his word. Highly recommend him to do any job and I would definitely market his business as a best tree cutting service in the state of Hawaii.

I emailed for an estimate and got a reply right away. The estimator was able to come out the very same day and give me a good quote on tree removal. They were doing a job in the area and were able to come out the very next morning. They came right on time, were very friendly, professional, and started work right away. I was amazed at how fast they got the job done. My nine Cypress trees were done and about an hour and a half. I would definitely recommend them and use them for future tree services.

Outstanding job! We needed a very large mango tree trimmed and waste disposed. Called and put in a request with the office and Rocky called in a couple days to set up a site visit for an estimate.

Rocky was very knowledgeable about how the tree was growning, root and branch structures and make great recommendations to meet our needs. Estimate was provided during that visit.

In about a week we were fit in the schedule and the crew came when scheduled. They did quick work and was very professional. They were quiet and didn't make excessive noise. Since it was trash day, they moved the trash can so it would get picked up when they temporarily blocked the driveway. They cleaned and removed every bit of waste and swept and raked the area.

The tree was a bit bare looking after the job but assurances that it would fill back in a few weeks.

Rocky called after the job (since I wasn't there when the job was done) to see how we felt about the job and said he would come back and resolve anything if needed.

Rocky is fantastic! He's honest, reliable and prompt. Ohana Tree Services is a reputable company with skilled employees. In the 11 years that we've been having our trees trimmed, Ohana has done the most thorough job of any of the companies we've used. They leave our yard pristine & remove all the rubbish when they're done. We appreciate their work ethic and thoughtfulness by only running the chipper after they've removed all the dead branches and ensuring they've removed all the berries so new coconuts don't begin growing back as quickly as when the berries have been left behind (had this happen with other companies). This is the second year we've used Rocky and we look forward to having him return again next year. You won't be disappointed with Ohana Tree Services.

I had a large, overgrown lychee that was overhanging both our neighbor's and my house, and a large avocado tree with large branches overhanging mine. I requested 3 quotes - played phone tag with one company for a week who didn't show for a quote, another that was going to come a few days after Rocky, and Ohana Tree Service.

I called Saturday morning and Rocky was available to quote the same day. The price was fair and I mulled it over; scheduled an appointment for Wednesday afternoon (day before Thanksgiving). Cancelled the quote from the other company.

Rocky and crew arrived on-time, setup quickly, and had both trees cut in under 1 1/2 hours! My wife and I were amazed, as well as our neighbors. Everyone was friendly and the yard was left cleaner than when they arrived (no joke). Everything from the first call to cleanup was professional.

I needed a large coconut tree cut down in my backyard. I called Ohana Tree Service and spoke to Rocky. After sending a picture of the tree he was able to give me a price to remove the tree which was more reasonable than other quotes I received.
He and his crew arrived right on time this morning and got to work immediately. They were very efficient and an hour later the tree and all the rubbish was gone. I would highly recommend Rocky and his team.

Emailed asking for a quote. Received a quick reply and coordinated with Rocky to complete a free quote for the job. They showed up on time and got right to work the very next day. Rocky and his crew did a phenomenal job removing trees and stumps in our backyard. Everyone was professional and went the extra mile clearing our back yard and cleaning up when they were done. This is the third time we used Ohana Tree Servoce. Very reliable and professional. This time we trimmed 2 large trees and removed several other trees. They brought a mulcher to mulch the tree branches. Very neat a d they tied up the yard before they left. No trace of debris anywhere. Would highly recommend.

Professional job. We needed to find a tree service company to cut and remove our 25 ft. Coconut tree. We agreed to a price after sending Rocky photos of our tree. Impressive work and coordination and containment of tree leaves, trunk, stump, and roots. The hole was filled in where the tree used to be. Watching how the worker climbed up the tree and cut everything down was amazing. The workers were hard working and very professional. Cleaned up all the debris and left my yard in pristine condition. Thank you!!!

Rocky came out right away and gave me an estimate on removing a badly leaning ponytail palm tree. The process was to involve cutting the tree down, then grinding the stump for $480.00. I would then have to wait several weeks for the root system to die before replanting.

Rocky called me promptly at 8:03 am to say they were here. One of his workers literally pushed the tree over with his bare hands, roots came up and everything. They cut it up and were literally finished in less than 20 minutes (it was 8:22, I looked). His workers were laughing because some of them didn't have to lift a finger. There was no stump to grind, and I'll be able to replant right away because all of the roots came up with it. However, he still charged me the full $480.

In all fairness, communication with Rocky was great. He was prompt, even early, and a genuinely nice guy. He came with a several workers, a stump grinder, and chain saws expecting a bigger job. I don't have any complaints on the work itself, it just would have been nice to have the price adjusted to reflect a 15-20 minute job.

I have been trying for well over a month to confirm an appointment. While all of my conversations with Rocky have been extremely pleasant, he first missed our initial appointment for a quote - no problem, I understand good help can be hard to come by. So we reschedule and he calls to say he'll be late. Again, no problem. Get a quote and this is where it all goes downhill. I didn't find his quote unfair in any way but I emailed to say I wanted to schedule. No response so I call and was told, call back in 5 days as he doesn't have the calendar. I've called and no return call, no courtesy email. If you need someone prompt and attentive, look elsewhere! Not angry at all but wishing service was better as Rocky was very helpful.
