Great local company, honest hvac company.

Excellent service!!! Mark, the technician who came to our house, was extremely knowledgeable and honest about what we needed done. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!!

Great company. Been using them for years. AC went out at the office on the 10th 100 degree day in a row and Mark was here within 90 minutes because he was in the area and we've been working with him for near a decade. Didn't expect same day, let alone that kind of service.

Highly recommend! We received three DIFFERENT opinions about what was wrong with our AC unit. Called Northwest and they came out and shot it to us straight. No upselling. They actually tried to help us save money and time...imagine that :) Great customer service over the phone as well as highly professional technician. Super impressed and will be using this company from now on to help with my HVAC needs.

This is such a great company to work with. Sean is one of the top guys there and he was awesome - a real pro. Everyone from Northwest that came to our house during the install of a new furnace flue was super nice - and did such a great job. We were very impressed, thanks so much Northwest!

We recently sold our home in Meridian, ID and during the inspection there were several HVAC issues that were noted. I was referred to use Northwest Heating & Air by our realtor and they didn't disappoint. The showed up on time, the technician, Marc, was not only professional, but went above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of things during his 1 hour initial inspection. There are a lot of companies that would assess during the 1 hour and then came back for repairs charging a lot more. Marc took care of things that were simple, he upfront and honest. As a consumer, my biggest fear is always being taken advantage and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have a business with integrity that does the right thing.

We are all busy, but when I receive great service I feel obligated to acknowledge that and allow others to "be in the know." Northwest Heating & Air Conditioning earned 5 stars from me. Great Company, Great People, Great Service! Thanks again!

Phenomenal company, amazing service, technicians, staff and integrity. They replaced my two HVAC units at my home 3 years ago and when my son's house needed a new HVAC system I called Northwest Heating and Air. Shaun is honest, the service is professional and prompt---I give this company my highest recommendations. I am a loyal and happy customer---I can't say enough about how they go above and beyond!

My furnace went out one day and I called up Northwest and spoke with Shawn the owner. He was able to accommodate me and get a tech out to evaluate what was wrong. The repairs were going to be quite costly so Shawn and I evaluated whether or not it would be advantageous to purchase an entirely new system. With Sean's help and guidance I ended up purchasing an entirely new system air conditioning and heating. Now understanding that the weather is 0° my house has no heating and initially saw Shawn said it would be approximately 5 days before he would be able to get something in. I whined complained begged and finally Sean was able to rearrange his schedule and within the next two days was able to get an entirely new system in an installed. This is not the first system I've purchased from Sean I think I purchased three in total. Each and every time he's been attentive straightforward and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Sean and northwestern heating for any HVAC questions or problems.

Home Owner: We have lived in our home since it was built. Northwest installed the entire system and have been the company we use every time to do maintenance. They are very trustworthy and stick to their schedule as good as any other company does/can. I highly recommend them for heating and AC repair, maintenance, and install. We had Mark for many years until he retired and now we have Ryan. He is very easy to talk with, doesn't upsell anything and is very well versed in the world of HVAC.

I can’t say enough good things about this company and the people who work there. When we purchased our first home 23 years ago Northwest Heating and Air had installed the AC and heating system in the house and left their orange contact sticker on the unit. That little sticker and their professional care and maintenance has kept our Tran unit going for well past its normal service term.

Northwest H and A recently saved us thousand of dollars. In Dec. of 2025 another company (recommended by our property management company) came to inspect the furnace and said it was damaged and in need of total replacement at the toon of $12000. I contacted Northwest who came out the next day, performed a full inspection and found no problems. They fully contested the competitors claim and said it was possibly a predatory scam and that they unfortunately see this in their industry. If you need honest, old school Idaho people to work with and want to avoid scams try Northwest Heating and Air. I am a fan for life and promise openly to use them on our next install. Thank you again for over 2 decades of service.

Our heater went out and of course it had to be on the coldest week of the year. Their repair team was booked out a few days, but the GM personally stepped in and came to my home within an hour.

He ran into a few unexpected complications but never once got frustrated or “mansplained” anything — he walked me through everything clearly and respectfully.

He was incredibly patient, kind, and professional the whole time. The pricing was beyond fair, especially for a same-day service call, and the customer service was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced.

Nice people. But changed the schedule without calling to inform me. After I called they send someone over 3 hours late, making us late, and then billing us $125 for a 10 minute job.

Do Not Recommend! After scheduling an appointment and waiting nearly a week - they called and cancelled the day before they were to be at the property. We were able to find a more reputable company that stepped in and made the appointment that Northwest couldn't!

We made an appointment to have our A/C unit assessed and probably replaced. We were scheduled a week out because it's August and workload is heavy. I got a call to cancel our appointment 23 hours before because they cannot work new clients into their schedule. I understand these situations but it would have been nice to know at the time of scheduling and/or in the last week. Informing us the morning before our appointment will now make us wait another week to get in someone else's schedule.
