Their price for wiring and installing lighting, outlets and switches for my new shop was competitive. Their employees, from the first meeting for an estimate, to final installation were professional and easy to work with. When I called back to discuss a faulty switch, they responded within hours and immediately fixed the problem. We highly recommend them.

Mike has been great to work with. Our project will be built in phases, Mike has been really helpful preparing everything we need now and in the future. Super easy to communicate with and available during our build.

Referred by friend who used them. Had them install a sub panel for a couple sheds, generator hookup and RV outlet. The guys were very professional even when they ran into a brief SNAFU. While digging the trench for the conduit they ran across some heavy granite. They did as much as they could for the day and arranged for heavier equipment for the next day. The job was completed in a timely fashion. Workers very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Will use them in the future and recommend them for all electrical needs.

I had a few odd electrical jobs that needed doing but put off due the the fear of how much these annoyances would cost me. I met Mike Koch of Grotberg Electric at a client's house warming party and was immediately impressed by his willingness to take on any electrical job small or large. His company, while not new, is new to the area. I hired him and am absolutely thrilled with the work and the price. He was pleasant to work with and fixed several issues. Great job Mike! Grotberg did the original electrical on our new building 2.5 years ago. They are knowledgeable and professional and were quite competitive in the bid for our Gen Set installation and we are quite pleased.

I hired Mike and Grotberg Electric to wire a residential addition, they were very professional, responsive, and did an amazing job on every aspect of the building.
As a general contractor I will be using Grotberg again for any future projects I have in the area.

I had my electrical panel replaced and a generator switch and outlet hard wired into the new panel. Very professional, on time, very neat work and overall happy with my experience. I would use them again for sure.

UPDATE: Well, I used them again to wire up a new barn and chicken coop. They did an amazing job. 5/5 stars.

I hired Grotberg to do some minor remodel work which consisted of adding can lights, moving a light fixture, and some plug and switch work and I am very well pleased with the result.The crew that came to my house were punctual and polite, and the work was done in a timely, professional manner. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality electrician.

Grotberg did a fantastic job for us. They added a new breaker to our panel for a Tramway. Then they ran the wire outside, under our deck, then under ground to the Tram location. I'm a huge fan of QuietCool whole house fans. We've had one in our last two houses. We moved in April of 2020 and I just purchased my 3rd from Grotberg Electric. Installation was a breeze. Everyone was very professional and I'm really stoked on the results. I'm ready for summer now that I have my new fan installed. I've also had the guys from Grotberg do other repairs around my house, they are my go to for all things electrical.

I am a service manager for a manufactured home company in Washington but we do a ton of homes in Idaho. I needed an electrician asap to help with a factory service issue on a customer home. Grotberg was able to call the home owners and schedule an apt to get into the home and complete the work. The home owners are very happy with the work done and the quick actions to get it done. I have called since them to do more work for us and will continue to do so. Highly recommend using him. Very great company!

These guys are awesome! So professional and great service. Had them do a panel replacement and install an outlet for a generator. The quote was very reasonable and they were very transparent on the time it would take to complete it. They showed up on time and finished very close to their original estimate. Very polite and professional crew.

I was building a new shop. I needed temporary power run for construction, an would be needing the shop wired after construction. I contacted Mike and he came out for an estimate. The estimate was fair and I gave them the go-ahead. The temporary power was hooked up. When the shop up I had them return for the shop wiring. The work they did was quality and organized. I am very happy with the work performed. Looking forward to have them do my next building.

We selected Mike at Grotberg Electric to do our electrical remodel at Cisco's in our packing/shipping area. We interviewed and received bids from several electrical companies. We accepted a bid from Mike based on time and materials, but did not ask the hour rate or the percentage over cost. His crew was professional, timely and very efficient. At the end of the day we are very pleased with the work they did and their bill.

We had Grotberg Electric come do an install of all electricity needed for setting up our machine shop in Rathdrum Idaho. The work was done in a timely manner. These guys are a lifesaver! I had an issue with my original contractor and ended up having to let him go. As most people know having a contractor come in and pick up after another one halfway through a project is hard to do. There is a construction boom going on here so it's hard to get an electrician. Grotberg came in and helped me out despite being essentially fully loaded on their schedule. Their prices are really good too! They always showed up when they said they would, which i love. Ill always be thankful for their short notice help. I definitely recommend these guys, anytime.

My review is long overdue, but here we go. I've had Mike and his team at Grotberg Electric do a number of jobs for me in the past 18-months. They were recommended from another electrician who was booked out for 6-months.

The "big install" was the installation of a Generac stand-by generator last October 2021. When Costco and other vendors couldn't find a stand-by generator for at least 3-4 months, Grotberg Electric was able to locate one and installed it in one day. The install was first rate and the customer service was 5-STAR.

Over the past two days, we two separate power outages due to high winds. In both cases, the stand-by generator kicked-on as soon as the outage occurred and cut-off as soon as power was restored. The generator turned-off literally seconds before my text alert from Avista arrived to notify me that power was restored.

I recommend Mike and his team at Grotberg Electric without hesitation, and I give them my highest rating.
