Our Service Technician, Grant, called before he left, confirmed the directions to our home, and arrived in the time frame given. Grant was a very nice and cordial young man. He was ready to don his booties, as he entered our home. He performed our maintenance in a timely manner.
We have had Shafer Heating & Cooling, Inc. perform other services for us in the past. The most recent service was installing a propane gas line to my new cook top. After they had left, I realized, that I should have asked to have the line positioned differently in the underneath cabinet. Within a couple days a Service Technician came to our home to make the adjustment, at no charge. This is what service is all about.
We would recommend Shafer Heating & Cooling, Inc. to our friends, family and our neighbors. You will not be disappointed.

I appreciated the great communication from the office as well as the service technician; the functionality, challenges, and components of my system were explained in a way I could understand, and my options were clearly laid out so I could make an informed decision regarding maintenance versus replacement. Very professional, and I will definitely use them again in the future. I highly recommend Shafer's!

For starters I never do reviews. But ya have to give credit where it is due. Shafer’s is just an all around awesome company. Have dealt with them on two occasions. The first was moving a gas meter to the other side of my home. I took care of the trenching and they did the rest. Everything was timely and smooth. Price was good and better than two other bids without having to haggle. The second was my furnace. Went out in the wee hours of the morning and noticed when I woke up. I tried my best Macgyver skills I could muster up but eventually realized it was far beyond my capabilities. I called Shafer’s first because of how awesome they were with my first experience and they were there before noon. The problem ended up being a warranty item, “newer home” different installer, but they got me up and running until the “other guys” can come back and fix the issue. All in all The Shafer’s way is punctual, professional, and not pricy! I would recommend them to anyone. Big or small they will take care of yas!

Stephen was very helpful and informative and and I appreciated him not complaining about the location of our furnace, because I know it is kind of hard to get to. His service was awesome. He changed my filter, which was needed.. Thank you very much for your service! I was told that I need to get my ductwork vacuumed and when I found out how much it might cost, And how often you are supposed to do it, I thought I might never be able to get that done Because of the price.

I was in need of a certain kind of plan and ducting system that was in a commercial application and so they were helpful to be able to build her a verbal description and what I needed and she worked out good thank you Schaeffers

We have had 2 a year service with Shafer for well over a decade. Always helpful and do everything they can to provide great service. The technician Grant is very friendly and does thorough work.

Following several repairs in 2021, we opted for replacement of our aging heat pump, and ordered this in November. Thank goodness we had no problems until the system arrived and was replaced in June 2022. Just in time for summer temps! The team came out as scheduled, and installation was done in a day. Since they were out, we arranged for seasonal maintenance. More recently, the steam humidifier was connected to the water filter, and our system is now prepared to handle the colder temps ahead. All is well, thanks to Shaffer's! MILDA

Over the past 3 years Shaffer’s technicians have been out to maintain all systems are functioning properly. Each time I have had stellar service. A shout out to Stephen who takes his time to assess the task at hand carefully and methodically. During the most recent visit he and two other fine chaps repaired a persistent, nagging problem. I can always count on Shaffer’s!

Shafer heating repaired/replaced some ducts under our house. The young men doing the work were prompt, and courteous. They finished the work in no time and cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again if needed and recommend them to anyone needing work. Thank you Shafer heating.

Grant Gentry did an awesome job, replacing the filter on my humidifier. He also put new tubing on the humidifier. He went the extra mile to explain how the humidifier works, when I turn it on. He was very attentive and did a great job!! Glad that my built in humidifier is ready for winter use..Thanks Grant, a job well done!👍👍

Outstanding service. A technician arrived the day after my call (non-emergency) which was far faster than I expected. Treated my situation with respect & was able to repair my 22 year old unit vs. replacing. The fact is that the technicians in this industry are in a position to tell you ‘time for a new one’ and there isn’t much you can do. My point is honesty is paramount, so from now on I’ll be calling Shafer for all my heating and cooling equipment. I’m scheduling a furnace maintenance with them and trust them now, so when the system finally does go, guess who gets that call? Five stars for Shafer Heating & Cooling.
