John is simply amazing. He repaired a series of smaller problems on my inadequately installed roof (from 2019). His costs were reasonable and his expertise apparent. I will use no one else moving forward for my exterior needs. He's the best in the Western Suburbs!

Did my roof complete take off and replace. Not one nail was found. He had a crew that came and cleaned up everything better then it was to start. Excellent work.

Victor Acosta and his team were outstanding in that they delivered as promised, on time and on budget. Their workmanship was excellent and the end result was a beautiful new roof.

We had a roof leak in December 2023 and called Acosta Exteriors (Victor) on a Saturday morning….he was on the roof inspection that afternoon and had patched the spot by Monday. A couple months later, another leak in a different spot and again, Acosta Exteriors (Dion) was on the roof within 24 hours, diagnosed the issue, and covered the area with a tarp. Victor followed up with a repair/replace proposals, shingle recommendations, and facilitated with the city of Geneva Historical District to obtain building permits.

Last Monday, the Acosta Exteriors crew stripped old shingles, discovered/replaced 10 sheets of ¾” plywood, installed 41 squares of Pristine Architectural shingles, and caulked/sealed chimney flashing. They started at 7:00am and finished in the dark at 8:30pm. Acosta (John) coordinated the team including covering landscape and cleanup to perfection.

John and his crew are incredibly professional. John listens to your ideas and provides suggestions to enhance your outcome beyond your initial plan. They are timely and efficient. John is great at communicating his schedule and provides updates when any unforeseen issues arise. I’ve referred him to others needing roof repair and we plan to have him back for another round of paint/stain on the house when it’s needed again.

After a bad storm last year, our neighborhood was canvassed by door-to-door roofers. We turned them away since we prefer to work with qualified companies with verifiable credentials. After meeting with a couple other contractors, I was extremely happy when my best friend gave me Acosta Exteriors’ phone number. John promptly inspected our roof, confirmed the damage, provided us with a good (fair) quote for a complete tear-off and replace, and then also came back and met with our insurance adjustor. While there was a delay with our insurance company, John and his crew were amazingly able to complete the job before winter set in. They were very careful with our driveway which we had just replaced last year, protected our landscaping, thoroughly cleaned up, and all in one short day! John has a well-coordinated, experienced team that works well together and gets the job done properly. We’re so happy we now have a beautiful, leak-free roof. Thanks John and Acosta Exteriors!

These are before and after pictures of the beautiful job they did on our house! They ended up having to rebuild the porch as all the wood under the aluminum siding was rotted - we are unbelievably happy with the job they did! Highly recommend!!
