They were extremely professional, flexible, and efficient in scheduling, pricing, and in removing 4 large tress from our back yard in less than 1 day. Winkler did a great job trimming up two trees this past week. One is a large Autumn Blaze Maple and the other is a tall, thin (and was lopsided) decorative tree. I have used Winkler Tree three times now. The first time, late autumn 2023, to trim back a severely overgrown tree that was in bad shape. In September 2024, this same tree had suffered damage due to a severe wind storm and needed to come down. When Winkler took it down, I could see that the center of the tree had sections that were rotted. It was the right decision to remove it. The team at Winkler was professional, personable, quick at their work and knowledgeable. The whole area was cleaned up well afterwards, too. I will always call them for this type of work. The folks in the office were helpful, as well. Thank you.

A recent storm broke a 25" dia. Basswood tree in half that was weakened in the middle by carpenter ants. That tree had shaded us for over 30 years and was over 60+. Sad to see it go.

I called Pat L. at Winklers and he had John M. stop by within 30 minutes and he provided a verbal estimate followed up in writing when the work started in a couple days. The crew of 4 which worked that day fulfilled the contract. Much to my surprise most of the same guys had worked on our property in 1/2020. The much larger crew that winter removed 5-6 trees and pruned several others using lift buckets, cranes and tree climbers.

Make no mistake this is a solid company represented by professionals that provide exceptional service in a "workmanlike manner". (for perspective that is a 6' fence behind it)

Used Winkler to trim two birch trees and a crabapple. One of the birch trees was quite damaged by last year's cicadas. Joe Heaton responded quickly for an assessment and the crew that followed did a great job. Would highly recommend Winkler.

I just moved into a house with two huge silver maple trees that had clearly not been trimmed in years and one of them had a wood vine growing all the way up. I initially thought the trees would have to come down. But Joshua didn’t feel it was necessary because other than really needing trimmed and the vine being removed they are healthy trees. He provided an estimate immediately and scheduled the work within two weeks. I can’t say enough about the crew that came and did the work! It was a very challenging job with little backyard access. They were amazing! They not only got those very mature trees trimmed under very difficult conditions, but by the time they left you’d never know they were even here. They cleaned every branch including the street and surrounding neighbors. My neighbors have even been commenting on how professional and kind they were and how nice the trees look now. I would highly recommend this company and crews for a challenging tree trim or removal project!

Winkler team did an excellent job of removing all dead wood in my 75 year old (huge) pin oaks. Incredibly thorough and left the yard cleaner than when they started. Highly recommended!
