Ed was responsive and QUICK! I had a sump pump that was slowly flooding my finished basement and Ed came by and fixed everything same day.

Ed from Ace came out to my mother' condo, her toilet was backing up. He ended up having to route outside and then when stuff backed up into the laundry, he cleaned it up. He was friendly and professional; I would recommend him to others.

We had an issue with a leaky shower head. Instead of spending thousands replacing the unit and having to re-tile the shower, Ed was able to order the parts from the now defunct company and fix the issue. I believe 99 out of a 100 plumbers wouldn't have been able to fix it for such a low price. He is tenacious and fair...he even fixed the crooked faucet because it bothered him. I love that kind of attitude. I definitely recommend.

I called Ed to come to the house to power rod my sewer line because the company my in-laws (previous owners) no-showed twice when called. Every two years for at least the past decade, there are tree roots that make their way into my sewer line due to the tree in our front lawn and we have to get them rodded out so that they don't clog it. Ed explained that the reason for the roots coming back every two years is because every time we rod the roots, they multiply because of how they split during the rodding process. Not only do they come back, but they come back in greater numbers. Ed not only helped power rod the sewer line both upstream toward the house (something the previous company didn't do) and downstream, but he also informed us of a chemical treatment that would prevent the roots from coming back, which will help us save some money in the long-term and eliminate the need to repeatedly rod out the line. All in all the total service for the power rod and the upcoming chemical treatment was about $1,000. While some may perceive this as a little steep, I can personally attest that the quality of the service is well worth the money spent, especially since the initial cost of the rodding and chemical will help save me money long-term. I also appreciate how Ed keeps the customer informed using the knowledge he collected from close to 40 years of experience. I highly recommend Ed to anyone who is need of plumbing service. Thanks again Ed!

Ed is amazing and incredibly honest. Our sewer line was backed up forcing our family out of our home for several days. Ed was able to clear the sewer line and hydro jet the sewer clear on Sunday when he is typically closed. Can’t say enough for Ed’s work ethic and determination.

Ed has been my go to man for years! Last year at this time, the boiler and hot water heater failed! Go figure, it was December.
It did not stop Ed and his crew to rectify the issues, Old Boiler and Hot Water heater removed and promptly installed the same day! His services are impeccable, with 40 years experience, he knows his trade. Recently he installed a toilet. All the services at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended for your plumbing and sewer needs.

Great service. They even helped advise me about the type of Garbage Disposal to buy. I will be using them again.

Very expensive for the amount of labor done. The estimate I foolishly assumed would be for five of six hours of labor. The actual labor was less than one hour. I don't know what the going rate is for a plumber but I think $653 was a little steep. Ask for a time estimate and then the hourly labor rate.

Bad experience. So we had and issue wit are heating unit very early Saturday morning they came to our house at 230 am they found the issue they took our deposit and told us they would be back in the morning once the part store open . They had us like this all day we call three different time and told us. We was getting service 930 PM came and they told they wasn't able to come due to no part in hand that they will call us Sunday morning . They called us Sunday morning and notified us that they didn't stick the part till Monday morning . Not only they took our deposit they us charge us the emergency fee . Bad service all around I had senior in the house and a small child lack of communication for the company. I canceled service from a different company cause the tech that came Saturday morning re insured us that they was coming in the morning. Bad bad bad. Bad

During negotiations for home purchase in February Ed came to service previous owner due to our inspector finding main drain broken pipe in the crawl space and slow water draining in bathtub. It should have be viewed with camera and power rotten through. Three days after closing (6 weeks after job was done) washer was running and water started coming up the bathtub and toilet.
Hes response to this issue was it only had a 30 day warranty and he would need another $588.00 to rod out again. Keep in mind this house is empty.
There was no way I was paying him a penny for something that if done, would have not needed to get done again 6 weeks later.

Owner paid him $2,900.00 for this job.

We had Ed come out to look at our leaky toilet. We turned the water back on when he arrived but oddly enough, nothing leaked. He didn't seem to be interested in removing the toilet and taking a look, which I found disappointing and pretty odd. He also explained that he would have to charge us $125 for the 15 minute visit (despite literally doing nothing at all) but would come back if it started leaking again for no charge, specifically saying that he wasn't just there to take our money.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what Ed did as he kept delaying when he would come back, refused to commit to an actual return date, and then just stopped responding to our texts all together. It's pretty clear now that he didn't want to take on the job from the very start and had no interest in ever coming back, despite our gentleman's agreement. I would not recommend Ace Plumbing.
