Montoya’ screw was punctual, very fast and extremely knowledgeable about code and repairs. I would definitely recommend them for both maintenance and repairs as well as new construction.

Uriel is a wonderful person! I had a machine fall out of my truck today In a busy intersection. He stopped and helped me get it back on the truck and even took time out of his busy day to help me get it tied down. Character speaks a thousand words.

Hands down one of the best contractors I have worked with; as the project was on my first home that I closed on in Oct. of 2020. There is absolutely nothing I could complain about; on the contrary, Uriel - the owner himself - maintained an open line of communication at all times, whether it was call, text, or email. As once a retail manager for corporate retail store, I understand what it takes to continuously run a business while away from the job - to a degree. My entire 2 unit building needed electrical panels updated, and all new conduit and wire to be installed as the main scope of work, including five exterior lights. I had a terrible experience with some so-called electricians do the job the first time, but you get what you pay for. Uriel gave me my options on how to remedy the situation, and to say the least, I went with his recommendation, and I could not be happier. He saved my investment from potential hazards and safety issues. To start the actual project, after his estimation process, and getting back to me in an urgent manner, as my project was being held up because of previous “electricians”, him and his team got to work. Uriel and his team did the rough-in in about 10 days, and the quality/craftsmanship was night and day in comparison to the first go-around. It was a lengthy project on our end because of other trades doing certain work, but Uriel understood the situation and was flexible to work with. In the end, it takes two to tango, as long as there is communication, things will move along smoothly. All in all, Uriel did all new rough-ins with pipe and wire, updated my electrical panels, installed all my devices (switches and outlets), and light fixtures. Hire Uriel and his team, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I had a very good experience with Montoya Electric. They made time in their schedule to meet my needs of getting the work finished before I moved into a new home. They did a quick and efficient relocation of existing outlets and switches for a new floor plan, but also installed new outlets and serviced my obsolete electrical panel. They were cost effective and on time. Will use them again !

We recently bought a two flat and took on a renovation project for both units. The electric for the entire building needed to be upgraded because it posed a safety hazard. We decided to work with Montoya Electric because they explained the process and were thorough in explaining the scope of work. We have had them return for additional work after that and our experience was great!

Luis was able to help us at the last minute for an urgent electrical issue. He showed up promptly, addressed the issue quickly and was able to complete a couple other tasks that needed to be addressed while there. he was punctual, professional and his work couldn’t have been better. And the price was fair and reasonable too! Highly recommend.

I had Montoya electric install an EV charger at my house. I did not want to upgrade my circuit and they were able to figure out a way to use my existing service and get the job done. They were professional, on time, communicated clearly, and finished ahead of schedule.
The charger passed inspection and they helped me get started on my rebate form through ComEd (I was in an area that qualified for an EV charger rebate).
Since then I’ve had no conflicts with electrical use in my house and everything has been great. It’s so nice to pass up every gas station and EV charger station and just charge at home! I would highly recommend Uriel and his team if you need any electrical services done at your house or business!

Excellent job!!! Montoya Electric worked on new 400 Amp Electrical Service and new rough, wire, and trim for units 2R and 3R. Provided new gear, equipment, including wiring, conduits, fittings and circuit breakers. Also worked on outside lights and front, rear hallway lights. All work done as stated on the contract and completed on time. Even when ComEd came to check the job, they told me Montoya always does an excellent and professional work. Thank you!!!

Never return calls if you need their service.

We paid this company almost $1,000 to redo the electric in the extension on our house. They came in and did the wiring, then said they would come back to complete it when we had finished the remodel. We have been trying to get them to come and finish it now for 7 months and they won't answer our calls. When we got them on the phone they said they would text us a date but now they have completely stopped communicating with us. We have a room with no electric outlets or light fixtures and we have to try pay someone else to do what we already paid them for. Very disappointing.
