This review is long overdue!
After recently moving to Chicago, we needed various work done in our new house. This included electrical work to accommodate a new washer and dryer. After taking delivery of my new machines I realized that I did not have the correct outlet for the dryer, and that all the electrical in the laundry needed attention. I had been without a washer and dryer for nearly ten days, (with three boys this was no joke), so I wanted the work done ASAP.
Kam at Sapphire was outstanding. He was punctual and professional and knowledgeable. He really went above and beyond. Thank you! The electrical work was complicated and laborious. It was done to an excellent standard. All the guys, especially Kam, were great. He explained everything clearly. The estimate was very fair, comparable to other companies, and the same as the final bill. No add-ons or surprise charges despite the work being more involved in the end. They were also very tidy. I was very impressed and I would not hesitate in using them again.

Sapphire Electric was great to work with from start to finish. My home is safer now. I needed new electric from Com Ed to a new breaker box for 100 year old home. They are true professionals in their field. I was happy with my choice to go with a neighborhood business.

Electricians at Sapphire are extremely knowledgeable and professional! I have been trying to get an electric issue resolved for months now and after contacting Sapphire, my issue is finally resolved! I am happy with the work (no mess) and will use them for all other projects in my home!

Our electricity went out during a winter storm. I called Sapphire Electric and they dispatched an electrican quickly. The electrican was there on time and he was able to diagnose the electrical issue. We had a short in our wiring and that was the culprit. I will definitely use these electricians in my Chicago rentals I own. Thank you again for saving me from having busted pipes that would have cost thousands of dollars and being knowledgeable and honest. I only wish I could give you a few bonus stars!

Sean had to come out on Christmas Eve because we lost most of our power. A major repair needed to be done and he coordinated everything with Com-Ed. He was so nice and responsive. Just a joy to work with, which made the whole experience so much better. I would recommend sapphire and Sean was fantastic.

I hired Sapphire Electric to take care of some electrical work that needed to be performed to one of the units in my building. One of the biggest selling points for me was that they are licensed and bonded with the state. Sapphire Electric came and assessed the work that needed to be done, pulled the needed permits, and quickly got to work. The crew that performed the work were efficient and professional. The project manager, Kam, was always prompt to return any phone calls and answered all the questions and concerns that I had before, during, and after the work was performed. I would strongly recommend that anyone who needs electric work done should call Sapphire Electric.

Highly recommend!! I was in between a home remodel project and after fitting the new kitchen appliance the fuse box which kept tripping. This was derailing the entire project as my remodel contractors were not able to move forward. We called Sapphire Electric in an emergency and they were able to replace old wiring and fixed the fuse box same day. Their personalized care and knowledge helped keep my remodel project on target and budget.

Fast response, great work and reasonably priced. Had a burnt outlet that needed replacing and to inspect related wiring. Called at 6:30 in the evening and got an appointment for the next afternoon. Shawn arrived (after great communication about expected arrival time) and quickly assessed the problem. He had it all fixed up in about 30min total. In total, it cost $170 for the diagnosis, materials and labor. Would highly recommend Sapphire Electric.

I needed emergency service and I was able to get a technician right away to help repair an issue that could’ve caused a future electrical fire. I highly recommend. Service was thorough and efficient.

We had a tree branch knock out our main power lines. Mike got on-site fast and got started on the repair on the main lines. He was efficient, completing his job. He even provided us a temp lines for our internet and heat. We are very pleased with his professional demeanor and he gave us an exact quote for the job before starting the work. We rely upon Sapphire for all of our electrical issues.

Great experience, Shawn diagnosed the problem, got ComEd out to fix a connection to the house, and replaced our main breaker. Fair price, definitely would recommend.

I had a very good experience with Sapphire Electric. What made me comfortable was, them being licensed.

Sapphire Electric was able to help my business switch to a better panel at a very low cost. I had lot of quotes which were not even close to Sapphire Electrics.

I would recommend their service to anyone.

Spoke with an individual in regards to installing outlets and a bathroom fan but they never called back with a price and installation date. Called again and left a message but nothing.

I had a great conversation with Jason. I ended up being out of their service zone but was sent a list of recommendations for contractors in my area. This was probably the best follow up I've received in a while. So thank you Sapphire!

Great experience with Sapphire Electric. Professional, friendly, and prompt. Mike and Shawn answered all my questions. Shawn came out to diagnose my electrical issue. He was great on communicating the time he would arrive. After thoroughly checking things out, it was determined that I didn't need the electrical work after all. An honest and professional organization.

We had a power surge at our new house late on a Saturday night. At the time we had no idea what was going on except that the lights were flickering and we had a hot outlet. Fearing an electrical fire, we searched for an emergency electrician and we found Sapphire. Mike answered and walked us though turning off the circuits and checking on a few other things. He was so nice on the phone and he dispatched Shawn to come out to our house the next day (Sunday). Shawn arrived, listened to what we had experienced the night before and immediately got to work. He determined that we had had a power surge, explained from A-Z how a power surge works, things he would be looking for, insurance coverage, time/labor, safety and the prevention of future surges. Shawn was nothing short of phenomenal in terms of expertise, thoroughness, communication (both with us and our insurance company), time management, and professionalism. He also put up with our toddler who had 100 questions for him on more than 1 occasion. Shawn will be our electrician for all future electrical projects or concerns at our house. It’s so hard to find trustworthy people when you are in an emergency situation. Please know from our experience (and trust me, our house was a disaster), that you can trust Sapphire and that Shawn is our personal favorite.

Awesome work! I lost power to a portion of my house. I called Sapphire Electric and they were able to get someone out the same day. The electrician was very knowledgeable and experienced. They also have reasonable prices and warranty on the work they did. I will be using them again for future electrical work. Highly recommend them!
