Ideal experience working with T&D on routine residential maintenance work. They bill by the hour with everything spelled out clearly before engaging. Technician was knowledgeable, considerate and professional. Will use them for all our "little" jobs because they make booking easy and do good work.

We were building a house that didn't have electrical service all the way out to the property. These electrical contractors did an amazing job, buried all the line and got our new house wired up and electrified properly. I was impressed with their work at every stage.

We've hired them to make several update to our warehouse including installing emergency lights and exit signs, updating some outlets and replacing all our fluorescent lights with LEDs. I've been super happy with their professionalism, tidiness and willingness to go above and beyond.

Initially gave them a 1-star rating after they refused to give any idea of cost, unless I paid $135 to get a quote. This sounded outrageous and I complained; the owner called me and arranged a time to come out and quote the work. He was nice and very reasonable. I agreed to the price and work was done timely and professionally.

Making an appointment was easy, and they were very responsive in providing an estimate (which was accurate). Jose arrived on time, and was polite and very competent. He moved a light fixture (a chandelier) from one home to another. He was careful - as the fixture was fragile - and he consistently checked with me about what he was about to do. I would definitely use them again! (As a bonus - he was nice to my dogs!!)

Rodrigo was phenomenal. We had an extremely complex problem that took a lot of time to solve and he was patient throughout the entire process. From beginning to end, he assured us he would provide a solution and that he did. We are grateful T&D sent us someone who didn't give up because things were difficult. Will absolutely be calling again if we have electrical needs.

When we upgraded our heating and cooling system, we were informed that our electrical service couldn't support it. We opted to upgrade our service and electrical wiring to handle the extra load. This electrical company had a team of electrical contractors that got the job done quickly and safely. Whenever we need electrical service, we will call this company again.

This is the second time we've hired T&D electrical and had Rodrigo as our electrician. He's an consummate professional. We had a three-way switch installed for our hallway light and everything was great. We highly recommend hiring them.

We had another company out to triage an electrical issue and the fixes they recommended were scary (ex. ripping out drywall). We decided to find another electrician to come out, take their time, and give us a second opinion. T&D were extremely thorough, answered my many questions, and ultimately found a clever solution that didn't result in chopping holes in my walls. I would 100% use T&D again.

Rodrigo arrived promptly and worked very quickly! I have a house with some really old wiring but he was able to diagnose and correct my issue in less than an hour. I will definitely work with T&D again!

Staff is great and really help you with what needs to be done and take care of it in matter of time. Highly recommend!

This marks the third time I have worked with T&D Electrical. Interestingly enough, Rodrigo was our technician every time! I have always found T&D and Rodrigo to be incredibly professional, friendly, and skillful. They take the time to understand the problem at the time of scheduling so that the technician has a basic understanding of what's going on prior to arrival. Rodrigo then arrived almost exactly on time at the beginning of the time window. He was very considerate and careful with Covid protocols (masks), and also considerate of our home by putting on little slips on his work boots. He was able to identify the problems we were facing and fixed them in far less time than I thought would be necessary. T&D will ALWAYS be our go-to electrician contractor!

I have used T&D for multiple projects; from a service upgrade (larger job), to a light fixture installation by Rodrigo- everyone was expert, on time, and courteous. All of T&D is totally professional; efficient, and do high quality work at a fair price. I highly recommend this company!

My husband and I bought a condo with electrical problems. We asked around for the best electrician in Chicago. We were given the name of this company three different times, so we called them first. They were impressive: professional, knowledgeable and easy scheduling. They worked diligently to solve a myriad of problems we had. We are happy clients.

Very skilled and professional contractors. Our home needed electric work and we knew we needed to find a quality contractor. These guys were very upfront and honest with their work. Overall they helped us with some complex electrical situation we had. Very good group of people and hardworking as well.

T & D provided a quality electrical panel upgrade with a great price. The whole process went smoothly from getting a quote, to review it, to scheduling it, to installation. Other electricians in the area were extremely overpriced and some even tried to convince me to do work without a permit or contacting ComED. Our T&D electrician was Greg. He installed our outdoor fan and can lights on our new pergola structure. He was professional, knowledgeable and he ensured that we were happy with the placement of the fan and lights. He did a great job with the wiring and neatly attaching it to the aluminum siding of our house. The connector for the Fan’s light kit was damaged and Greg was able to come up with a fix, so we didn’t have to return the light kit for a new one, which we really appreciated. At the end of the project, he cleared the area very well which was great. We would definitely be happy to have Greg back to do electrical work for us - he was terrific!

Initial contact with T&D was responsive and flexible, giving me a comprehensive estimate with photos without forcing an initial appointment which I really appreciated. They gave me a lot of flexibility with booking as well. Technician was prompt and professional, gave his expert feedback about placement etc which was very helpful. He also problem solved with some weirdness with steel beams in my walls. Work was fast and done very well, would absolutely use T&D again.
